This team reminds me of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid. It was called Voltron. You had 5 mechanical lions that when they would unite they made this invincible robot called Voltron. I am starting to get that same feeling of all these units that Oregon is putting together. When they mesh and become one they are going to be scary. Anyone remember when Scott Frost said that it was hard to recruit anyone to Oregon? gone are those days. Excited to see this team play. I am now getting the feeling that Oregon has joined the elite programs (Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Clemson) in the upper bracket of college football.
I do remember the Scott Frost comment, that was proven wrong a long time ago

Woodyards 2024 recruitment was a battle between two old db coaches named Nick Saban and Kirby Smart. This is a huge pickup for this freshman class.
As a big college basketball fan growing up, to think that Oregon would be in the same conference with Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State and UCLA. That is wild. Those are some basketball blue blood schools. To think that I can now watch those schools play at Matthew Knight Arena, I am loving it.

Harmon is a huge (literallly) move, the D-line looks scary on paper. I can't wait to see how the Ducks will match up to all the Big10 teams in this new proving ground, featuring a slightly different style of football.

I think Roberts, Gill and DeCambra are told by the staff that other people are coming in from the portal and that is why they put their names in. We should have known from those announcements that Oregon was about to land a DL and Safety from the portal. Arron Flowers is the real deal. It was the secondary that caused Oregon some games last year. I like to see them going out and getting all this talent in the secondary. Last years starters were awesome but once they got hurt, there was a substantial drop off and it cost Oregon.

Not saying he’s highest rated recruit ever, but I get the same sense watching Jordan James as I used to get seeing Reggie bush touch the ball. Just the feeling of static electricity building and the idea that he could have TD on any play potentially. Not saying I’m some football guru, but this man plays some ball! I honestly feel like Dillon Gabriel might be one of my favorite players on the roster already lol. I’ve got faith in the guy and that whole room really. Thank you Mr. Dan Lanning for staying in Eugene. Wouldn’t trade you for any coach in the country honestly.

Spencer you are right that saftey is the only question but only by comparison to the other groups. It still ultra talented and when you have a Dline like this Dline it takes alot of pressure off the safties. Most teams won't have the time to throw deep on us.
