God this broke me into tears a couple of times. I’m turning 24 today and am actually Costa Rican. I have spent most of my life working and living in California however. A fast paced life. Seeing all these young people gather together to enjoy and protect something larger than themselves truly touches me. Thank you for this beautiful production and for truly capturing the beauty of nature and the people who work to protect it.
Another Costa Rican diasporean living in NYC. Just got back from Puerto Rico where i got to do a day of climbing. I am very new at this meditation task. But connecting and climbing tress is where my joy for climbing started and after watching this i know it's where it will have to return to. Gonna have to go find a group doing research on epiphytes and volunteer my time. Happy belated bday mae!
@@evans7771 Best of to you. From Germany sending love and good luck. Great stuff and nothing better then the rainforest and climbing moving whatever. Had the best times on east Maui. About 300 inches a year and I sucked it up with gusto.
This is the lifestyle which i've dreamed about and have been planning for so long, and its amazing to see people who are actually living it and reaffirming my hopes to join their number. Whatever comes in the following weeks, months, and years, I pray to stay strong in my journey towards finding my place in nature.
I just got done watching your BTS. The production value of this is incredible! I loved climbing trees as a kid and climbing these is now a new dream of mine. I am amazed every day by how many unique experiences there are in this world. Just when you think you've seen it all, you watch a video about tree climbing as a sport. My imagination is running wild! You just put a little more wonder back into the world.
I know it’s a late comment 😅 but I have one word: Beautiful! -beautiful message💌 -beautiful jungle🌴 -beautiful people 😊 -beautiful shots 📷 Amazing work, 👍I’m glad I found your channel not too long ago.
This gives me shivers. Thank you all for this movie. I'm a climber, photographer, and natural resources student, and I'm pretty interested in what you do. It would be incredible if I could climb with you someday. Greetings from Chile.
So beautiful to watch my country being exposed like this, what a great job! Thanks for showing this amazing part of Costs Rica and hope you enjoyed the time spend in here ❤️ sending love and good energy for more projects like this to come! Pura Vida!
Oh... I don't have the words for how this made me feel. I am going to learn how to climb trees. I have redwoods and oaks to practice on. It was beautiful to see all the people who care.
Espectacular video/documental Noah. Felicitaciones!!
As a current rock climber, past tree climber (during childhood), and nature lover this film was sooo inspiring, soothing and motivating!! What a beautiful project and amazing community!! Thank you for making our world a little brighter
Noah, This was so inspiring and moving to watch. Thank you for the effort from everyone involved in the production. Like others have said, I think this deserves much more recognition!
I was done with searching for tree climbing videos , lost hope. Couldn't find enough to be satisfied, Now this is in my recommendation. How happy can I possibly be...
What a BeautiFull Film ~ I had a Huge smile in my Heart the entire time I was watching this, Thanks to all who took part in the production ~ It has such an Important message to honour our connection to the Earth and all the abundance of Beauteous Gifts she provides~
Fantastic Story telling, amazing blend of interviews, music and shots! I always wanted to visit Costa Rica, but since there is no Climbing there... Oh wait... ghm :D
Increíble!! Omg so glad I got recommended this video. I’ve been climbing since I could walk and had no idea people climbed at this level 🤯 You guys are so talented both physically and with storytelling. These trees are magnificent and I hope one day to be in the presence of them 🙏🏽
Beautiful doc. Fantastic drone work especially. I had the chance to climb a strangler fig in the Lacandon in Southern Mexico three years ago and it was a magical experience. It breaks my heart to see these beautiful jungles disappearing so fast.
Bro…. From youtube videos, to your last film ‘mexico’ to this… you made a high quality film…its incredible, im in shock… to follow you and see you go from youtube climbing vids and shorts to films… so much love man❤
You guys are killing it.. keep doing what your doing. Loved to see the personal physical battles and can totally relate. Thanks for all the work you guys are doing!
This was gorgeous. No more doomsday messages about a dead world with no hope, this is the kinda stuff people need to see. Thanks for the film BROTHERRRrrr
I am a rock climber, semi-professional level in my younger days, now I'm older and I do bonsai semi-professional, so basically this doc blows my mind haha!
WOW!!! Best documentary ive ever seen!!! SO INSPIRING! Love the incredible athleticism, reverence for nature and beautiful biology displayed and taught here! Thank you to all involved in the wonderful production here! cannot wait for my chance to explore Costa Rica and do some tree climbing (with the utmost gratitude and respect for Momma Earth and her creatures of course!) much love and light to anyone reading this
This is a beautiful video and thing you are doing! I wish I could go there and climb with you guys! Super pumped about it! Great environmental project. I am a Teacher, and like yourselves, I believe educating people ancd allowing them to experience this kind of stuff, especially kids, are key and sort of speech, seeds for our healthy future as a especies. Great job guys! Watch for those major snakes Costa Rica is famous for! Subscribed!
The passion you all have is such a beautiful thing. We as a collective species are very much responsible for our impact to our home. I definitely enjoyed this film.
watched this when it came out and really happy to have it here for free from now on. hope you get noticed by sender or a big company something like that if that’s what you want, you have a gift for climbing filmmaking :)
I used to climb trees all the time when I was a kid and still climb every once in a while. I had no idea there was a community for this like there is for rock climbing.
Danke from Germany. Used to live in the rainforest on east Maui. 250 to 300+ inches of beautiful/ heavenly pretty warm rain. Loved the forest and hunting. Seen paradise!!! but the most bestest tree was the one my daughter was attached to in Juttas belly >> the placenta! We checked it out real good. Didnt eat it or fried it up but planted a special coconut on it. When we turned the placenta inside out thats when wen we did see the tree. But all trees are a gift from above. Sending Aloha from Germany but I am on my way. Great kids! dont get hurt to bad.
This is one of the best documentaries. I want to join the team! The trees I climb everyday in the US are not the same as these in the video. Just amazing!
To me it looks like the slings cut into the tree when you are having a lead fall? Since you love the trees you want to protect them, maybe you can use wider slings? Slackliners also use tree protection.
Last year I have been in Costa Rica and I have seen some massive, amazing trees. I felt the urge to climb, so I do understand these people. I can't believe most of the earth was like that, and we destroyed it completely.
Wow - this was so inspiring! I just started to climb consistently and have always loooved climbing trees. The feeling when you just sit up there and share a moment of stillness with nature is beyond words. 🤍
highest tree i ever climbed I would guess was around 300 feet or more. tallest tree we could see on the horizon near goldstream park Victoria bc. took an hr and a half just to climb down, the tree was swaying at least 6 feet at the top in the mild wind. this was in the sun up hours of the morning after being up all night partying lol. A large Douglas fir. As someone who has enjoyed climbing tress since I was little, this looks like the most amazing experience!
Brilliant film! Climbing is such a natural conclusion from verticality, it's amazing to see it in action out on the trees as well as the thoughts and feelings of the climbers. Thanks for introducing us to this side of climbing!
Absolutely amazing production and so damn inspiring. As many of the people in the comments I am a climber and the similarities are so close. At moments when I was not watching I forgot this was about trees when you spoke about climbing. Awesome work guys! Keep inspiring people the way you do and who knows, maybe we can gain forests instead of destroying them!
This is truly amazing. Hopefully this gets more recognition, and I always wondered where those trees you were climbing in your previous vids were from ;)
Nature is so big and inspiring. Every part of it is spectacular. Was inspired a lot of equality and harmony between it all. I belive there is a lot to learn about fiscal challenges and spiritual forces that are in us . As a female I trust we do have special energy and unique to understand complete and maybe "lead" team experiences or goals . Modesty , Curiosity and communication are keys to a better balanced environment holistic life on the planet.

Yea people wasting their lifes making money in the cities.
I hope Costa Rica prospers before people destroy the nature for money, like almost everywhere else.
You spent your birthday watching TH-cam videos? I'm sorry buddy....😢
This deserves a feature on Nat Geo! Amazing production and quality. Keep it up Noah!
O😅

You are connected and understand vibrations unlike most in this world. The energy has to be so surreal for you! Imagine being that grounded 🙏🏻
Noah,
This was so inspiring and moving to watch. Thank you for the effort from everyone involved in the production. Like others have said, I think this deserves much more recognition!
how is this not a featured film at some outdoor film festival, but just a youtube video?? Absolutely stunning and inspiring!

Can’t believe this is free, amazing quality. What a fascinating topic!
Incredible. Climbing on rock is already so cool, but doing it on Fig trees, in the mystical cloud forest of Monteverde is on a whole other level
This is a fantastic film. Original, beautiful, and heartfelt. Like Nalini says - enthusiasm and reverence.
Watching this was such a beatiful experience. Thank you. ❤
Beautiful doc. Fantastic drone work especially. I had the chance to climb a strangler fig in the Lacandon in Southern Mexico three years ago and it was a magical experience. It breaks my heart to see these beautiful jungles disappearing so fast.

I climb trees in Florida. Where are you?
To me it looks like the slings cut into the tree when you are having a lead fall? Since you love the trees you want to protect them, maybe you can use wider slings? Slackliners also use tree protection.

I love what you are doing! Great Work with the documentary!
Wow this is so amazing! I'd like to meet people like this some day. I am a (tree)climber myself but i have never done it at this scale.
