They are mostly modern dolls i.e 90s onwards. Those don't go for that much but some dolls from those eras are more popular than others. The lifesize Barbie had been going well of late. The most valuable Barbies are obviously no 1 from 1959 to those in the early 70s although they make most when boxed.
no. 1, do your research. This year is Midge's 60th birthday, so your Midge will be a HOT item price her high on buy it now with best offer. On your winter barbies with the burgundy dress- pair them with the blonde and brunette together- collectors completing that series will buy two versus one for a cheaper shipping option. You might want to pair the Gone with the wind characters together like this for a higher price/best offer option and they might sell quicker than individually. I sell dolls and Barbie is a good bread and butter item. You've got some good ones. The Christmas barbies are always good items year round as people are completing their collections of xmas barbies.

Danielle- I think you got a really good deal on your truck full of Barbies for $1,000. You will definitely make your money back with the play line dolls and the collector dolls when you decide to sell them. I also like the unicorn paintings. I do not sell my Barbie dolls as I am very selective of the ones I put in my collection. But, I do make Barbie doll houses and they turn out really cute. So crazy! I sold a very similar lot to a Barbie dealer years ago for $1000, but half as many. I thought this was my collection at first! You got a fantastic deal! ETA Did you post a follow-up video? I can't find it.
I didn’t. I had planned to but I ended up selling the entire lot through a local online auction. I only profited around $400 on this deal. eBay was saturated with Barbie’s at the time and I was overwhelmed. I do have a few other barbie clothing videos that I uploaded a few months back. I did sell the remaining dolls on eBay. If you love Barbie…I do have a few other videos in which I buy a huge lot of amazing vintage barbie clothing. Girl I only came out $375 to profit with the auction fees. But I kept back some Barbie’s that were higher dollar for my eBay and I saved about 20 Barbie’s for our booth at the worlds longest yard sale
You could be bidding on some of these…I believe he mixed my Barbie’s in with another collection of Barbie’s as well. I am selling some in my eBay store. I was just overwhelmed with the amount and knew I could never list that many. Too little time. Thanks for watching

How many dolls were in the lot? From the looks of it, your avg COG was pretty awesome. I spent $150 on 15 dolls(Monster High and movie themed Barbies), ended up making $1500 on the lot. Hope you have amazing sales on your Barbie lot.

I have a friend who has a sealed holiday Barbie from 1997. She thought it was worth $500 - comps were at $15-$20! It’s crazy how little some of them sell for. It looks like you found some real gems, though. Best of luck!
Most of these dolls were really mass produced plus collector's left them in boxes. I for example sold one I payed $60 for and a couple of years later I bought it again for only $15.

There were about 235 dolls in all. Fingers crossed 🤞…I sent most of them to an online auction house that operates locally here in Kentucky.
