- The Giant Barbie collection that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Now consisting of 600 dolls. When we first explored this collection back in 2017 it already was impressive. When we look at it now it's even more impressive. These aren't your every day dolls. This collection is full of both expensive Silkstone Barbies and high end Fashion Barbies. There may be bigger but it would be hard to find a better collection. This video will take you through it doll by doll. Also she will share how she displays these precious items. Your Barbies are beautiful. You have a wonderful collection. I only limit myself to 100 Barbies and Kens total due to storage. I love your Barbie rooms. The clothes on the Silkstone Barbies are absolutely beautiful. I love the lingerie dolls. My favorite in your Silkstones are the Italian line Barbies. Beautiful. With your Vintage Repro- I love the Barbie Learns to Cook. Too cute. With your Pop Culture I love "That Girl". I remember watching that on tv when I was a child. With your Dolls of the World, I love them all. With your Department Store Barbies, I love the Benneton. With Kelly and Tommy, I love the Alice in Wonderland. I love all the Wedding Barbies you have. Dylan's Candy Barbie is too cute. The miniature Barbies are too cute also. Your Dia de Muerto Barbie is cute. Toki Doki and Stoney Clover Barbies are too cute. The Great Fashions of the 20th Century are beautiful dolls. Pottery Barn Barbie is too cute. Kate Spade Barbie is lovely. Currently I am looking for "pink" outfits for my Barbies. You have a lot of Barbies I will be looking for to add to my collection. I love all your Barbie rooms. I have AA and caucasin Barbies in my collection and Dream Houses. I did not see any Barbie Dream Houses. Do you not collect the Dream Houses??? Or AA??? Sometimes I think I will get one of the big 30 inches tall Barbies and put in my Barbie room. I didn’t see any black barbies only 1 Native American barbie, she should atleast have 1 or 2 AA barbies
@@tori.f9486 Hi, Tori. I am a black American. I am also a doll collector. I am in my mid 60s. I like the swirl, so my Barbies and Kens are all races and ethnicities. I have been collecting 40+ years. I use to feel like collectors should collect all races and etnicities. Now I am an old lady, and hopefully wiser, I feel like collect what you want and will keep. If you do not want any black Barbies I am fine with that. If you only want 1 Native American Barbie I am fine with that. It is YOUR COLLECTION and you can collect what you want. The dolls are too expensive to purchase what is politically correct. For example, I LOVE CELIA CRUZ. I will not be purchasing the new Mattel Celia Cruz doll. it does NOT LOOK LIKE CELIA to me. It has the "flavor" of Celia. Now, the Mattel Tina Turner doll looks just like Tina. So yeah, I have that one in my collection. Also, I limit myself to 100 dolls. Storage can be crazy sometimes. Plus, my kids and grandkids get on me about Barbies all over the doll room. (ja, ja)I have the old Barbies, new Barbies, Silkstones, MTM, regular. So, collecting dear Tori is a choice. Are you a Barbie collector also? I have a friend who only collects black Barbies. She takes them out the box and put on shelves in her doll room. Well, her doll room is dusty. So, her black Barbies are beauties with some dusty hair. It is a HOT MESS!!! (ja, ja) I leave mine in boxes as I have the high ceilings also, and I hate dusting. I am currently looking for "pink" vintage outfits for my Barbie. Please write back and let me know if you also are a collector. Remember, only collect what you want and will keep. It’s amazing that I find that I do have a lot of the dolls that she has. However, I have taken mine out of the box so I can thoroughly enjoy them some I have even put on made to move bodies. I feel like sometimes people forget that the dolls are meant to be played with and enjoyed. Never mind you the very expensive ones like the Byron Lars dolls I have left in the boxes in there for display only.

Awesome collection!! I loved seeing all the different Barbie, Ken and friends. Barbie dolls are the most beautiful dolls ever made in my opinion. I am just now getting into collecting some of them. They are a work of art. ❤❤❤

It is GREAT that there will ALWAYS be Barbie dolls! I keep a few Barbie dolls myself, and I hope to be making my Barbie doll who is a Mexican Barbie more clothes!

17:02 I am surprised that as a barbie collector you are not aware that the flintstone betty and wilma do have barbie faces. Betty has a Midge face (1985) and Wilma has a Mackie face (1991). Maybe you meant something else? Either way, your collection is amazing, simply a dream!❤

Barbie has been everything but a stripper or a lady of the night imagine that.... I love barbie I have a couple my partner gets excited to see the barbies I buy. Imagine if Mattel made a stripper club carry case with a pole that can make barbie swirl on it that would be so cute and I'd so buy it.

Loved this video. ❤️ When the camera came 'round and the one book from the 1960s Random House Barbie book series I was missing (Barbie Solves A Mystery) I became JELOUS. Not often a feeling I have when I myself also have a pretty big collection. I just love 'Barbie' people. We have alot of fun... also.. I haven't watched many of your videos but... when she talked about the dolls her husband had bought her and the bit of dialog around a birthday, I thought maybe, just maybe... could the host be married to the collector? Is that 🤔 a possibility? It's just the chemistry between the two I caught. 😊

Are the fashion forward ones and career ones in the thin boxes in their original boxes or is that for display purposes. Also did you say the shelves they are in in the room were Ikia sold before pandemic? Lovely collection.
Hello. Everything is in their original boxes. Some have the lids moved to the back to show the doll. The display cases are from Ikea. Sold before the pandemic though they may have started selling them again. We got some of these off Facebook Marketplace. Thanks for the question.

Not a single black or brown Barbie
Mostly because the “designer” dolls don’t seem to have been produced in different ethnicities. The play line dolls have lots of coloured dolls. Also, from a personal point of view, there was a period in the history of Barbies when the coloured dolls were just unpleasant dyed plastic without any consideration for the shape, features etc. Mattel are doing something to redress this now but don’t expect the vintage dolls to meet any sort of race awareness agenda.
Ya know the navy blue Silkstone suit outfit that came with a pink pillbox hat , picture that with the navy blue hat from Spring in Tokyo..
