Rockstar is the only company who thinks having 2 simultaneously successful products is a bad thing.
from their stand point its 2x as much paychecks and that means way more money wasted on people
It really does suprise me because id think if both Red Dead Online and GTA Online were on the same Content Level people would spend more money on ingame cash/gold because they cant play both equal enough to grind for stuff and then take the paying road xD
GTA has a GTA PLUS subscription... and GTA players are more willing to pay of the subscription and for shark cards. The Red Dead community and content creators have always went out of their way to convince new players to avoid spending real money on gold bars, which ultimately led to Rockstar abandoning the game.

Simple : the grown ups left GTA online long time ago …. And went to RDR online , cause you know , GTA went from mature content in GTA IV to kiddie shark card slop in GTA V online .
I’m not talking about GTA V ‘s singleplayer which was very good , but let’s be honest they abandoned them 10 years ago , so understandably we went over to RDR 2
Maybe the biggest TH-camrs shouldn't have encouraged everyone to "never buy gold bars" when this game was young

i dont really see a point of earning money or gold whenever theres nothing new to buy. like id love to just buy some new guns or horses at least. we've played with the exact same content since August in 2021. sure they added new telegram missions but absolutely nothing new to grind for. I know I copied this from my comment on hazards video but it's still the same point.

Why rush experience and money to complete a game that is dead? Just enjoy it slowly like it was intended. Don't cheeze any role, play it properly and have fun and these things come as you go. When you complete everything then what? my opinion only

I just can't bring myself to do it(Once they stopped support, i stopped supporting them), so its like being kicked in the balls and begging for more if you still play it, I ain't about that life lol but I do miss it soo much(Been 3 years). RDO2 needs to be in the Guinness book of world records for the biggest wasted potential of all time.

GTA Online's Bounty Hunter is basically RDO 's Bounty missions...... With added cooldowns and without the ability to choose the legendary bounty missions (and the ability to do once per real life day instead of in game day).
What’s funny is that if you argue with a GTA online fanboy by telling them “this is a copy and paste from red dead online”, they’re only response would be “you’re just mad red dead has no updates. Cry”
Well technicaly we were suposed to get gta bounty hunter dlc way sooner but there was gorge floyd riots in usa and all that anti police things made them push it back a bit. 5 years?
Month after month, nothing changes unfortunately, a reduction on the camp dog but impossible to buy the Husky, not even rare clothes to unlock. No motivation to play this month even though I love this game.

I was riding around earlier dropping off 3 star gator skins for newbies. That's about all the joy I've gotten from it, today. =(

You probably couldn't care less but the reality is most people do care and they unfortunately play the actual superior game, which is GTA.
And no, if red dead would actually be one of rockstar "Better" Games, it would receive weekly updates and they would take care of it. But unfortunately the harsh reality is that gta online has 200k monthly online players versus red dead 3k online players. You really think they care about 3000 people collectively? Probably yes but do they have resources to entertain these random 3000 people still playing RDO? No. It's nothing personal, it's business, no one actually plays RDO hence the reason they also don't care about it.
Red dead is a good game but it doesn't mean it deserves anything else it already has. It's not worth to entertain these random 3000 people with amazing weekly updates and dlc's, So, 3,000 people represent approximately 0.0000375% of the world's population. That's literally nothing.

So I uninstalled about two years ago... its so funny how terrible the game is, man they haven't done anything.. But in real life I drove through Strawberry so... I guess I'll play again.
Do you know what is the problem with servers being not populated I have been getting servers with 12 or less people in them… do you know why is this… it started on the first of July for me and my friend
Yeah definitely noticed that too. Seems like they are capping servers at around 12 players now.
Maybe they are doing it to kill free roam pvp. The main thing still keeping this dead game alive.
Legit only bought the naturalist as my second roll ONLY for the survival camp. Once I have that unlocked I’m not really bothering with her, just complete it slowly as I go
Rockstar considers it's clients ie the players as stupid people. the bounty in GTA costs over 6 million for rewords just above a 100K.... while you drive a slow as truck. This month on RDO is a waste of time. at least I'm not surprised anymore. thanks for the vid CAT

How many players who watch these videos really care about discounts though? I don't for one. And most of us are so far in the red dead online and are so rich in both dollars and gold bars we don't really care if something is on discount or not. A lot of us allready bought pretty much anything and everything there is in the game and can't really spend our gold even if we wanted to(unless we buy metals and stuff for guns and capitale which is just stupid and no one does it). So why even include what the discounts are. It's the most pointless piece of info we want in the video and it's definitely not worth spending minutes and minutes of the video on it. Just my 5 cents. I personally for example always skip this. If there's some any juicy info i would just skip to that. Maybe think of adding timestamps? Just a thought.
rockstar wants us all play and report modders that they not ban. bcoz it is easy to see modders. less modders more real players more change buy gold real money, but its impossible no fun to play with modders. can even disable pvp so cant get killed or cant kill others just npcs.
rockstar need put reward not kill players, but ofc that not help. modders get gold LOL. ban ban ban. i can see modders from player list allready.
need buy mod to block modders ruin ur game. mayby rockstrar get bonuses from mod sales. who know. modders not get banned. its tested
The gta online dlc just felt like bounty hunter dlc part 3 and it felt like I’ve already done this before and I was just bored of the new dlc very quickly
RDR2 Updates = Recycling the same missions and updates and events they’ve done for years.
I can barely even play the game because of the cheats, RockStar is giving me 2x something like a joke. Cheaters can even crash my game, GTA6's Online will suffer the same fate. I don't understand how a company can make such a great single-player game and such a bad multi-player game.
I only watch you're uploads every once in a while in the vein hope rockstar may start developing RD2 again. Because of the way rockstar have abandoned this game I will never buy another rockstar game again as I don't trust them to carry on developing the game after I have taken the trouble to invest in it. I honestly think the way they have treated this game will hurt future sales of future rockstar games

Common issue for owners of RDR2 on Steam is that after Rockstar Launcher update game makes your Windows lag like hell - delayed input from the keyboard outside of the game, delayed tab switching and other annoying thigs to mention. I am afraid Rockstar won't care enough to fix this in the next weeks.

To be fair the Bounty Hunter Legendary missions are A LOT cooler than what they just put out for GTA Online, which is basically just like the beginner bounty hunter missions in Red Dead; find bounty and try to take them in without killing them.
See I wanna start playing online again but last time I got on... which was about 2 years ago maybe? anyways it was a mod and greffer fest... couldn't get past level 4 because I was getting snipped from Armadillo while I was in Rhodes. hog tied every time I went into saint denis. oh and my camp constantly got fire bombed. haven't even bothered to try since then. the Xbox lobby's weren't event that toxic. I was like level 40 on there.
yea uninstalled this game a week ago. This game is screwed and Rockstar allowed it and obviously doesnt care. Play Elden Ring the DLC is worth the money and developers actually care for their player base. Unlike this game and every other game in the last 5-10 years Bandai Namco actually does shit for their player base. a whole ass game for 40 bucks instead of BS reused content and half assed content with no substance at all. Play the Elden Ring instead of the wasting your time on a game with no reward. Unless you play with friends this game is dead in the water.

I agree they definitely say that then I say well enjoy taking your daily animal photographs as well everything good in gta online comes from rdr2 and when they are cleaning their weapons and fuelling up their cars in gta6 they will wish rdr2 had story mode DLCs and online DLCs. Because they will be the only source of income locking everything behind gta+.
if people were smart they wouldn't spend money on shark cards but people are to lazy to grind and actually play the game if we didn't have shark cards rockstar might in another timeline make RDR2 just as big as gta5

I would say this month is kinda ok but it's still really mid the fumbles rockstar is doing with these monthly updates is getting out of hand well atleast we have cat for the motivational rant which gives me hope to play this game idk why anyways 2x bonus on telegram missions now that's actually good much better than the stupid horse race bonus from last month might come in clutch.
I got a Ps5 awhile ago and I've just started a new character my main one is on Xbox my uncle and his friend are getting rdr2 so that will be fun
I played for so long just hoping they would at the very least add the content they have already made for the game (outlaw passes) but I think its safe to say they care so little about the game and its fan base that they will never bother to even add the content they spent money on making back into the game. They could literally put outlaw passes in the PS store and charge irl money for them but refuse to let this game prosper in any way shaoe or form.

What’s the best way to get gold for my first role and do you suggest getting first, I already have 5 gold from doing blood money and free roam missions but is there a better way to get more gold
Last night, while doing the monthly challenge of the animal sighting mission, there were some funny moments:
1) I went after the Iwakta panther, kept dying while trying to anesthetize it, so I climbed on top of its cage and it ran away, and I lost it. I had to go after another animal.
2) I tried to get the vermilion elk, it ended up in the river, so I used the lasso to drag it to shore, but it died. So I closed the game and went back to Harriet.
3) I went after the boar and managed to sample it.

I love how they upped the base payout for stuff in GTAO (taxi work etc), most likely because people were not playing it, since the payout was peanuts. but they wont do the same in RDO. Infact, most random events / free roam missions are barely worth doing. You loot 2 cents of a body, if you're lucky and it doesn't despawn before you reach it. You waste ammo on ambushes and similar, yet you gain literally nothing except maybe a measly few XP. Oh, a campsite needs rescuing from bandits? Guess they'll die, lol.

I thought June was bad, but the bonus on story missions has kept me playing throughout, not so much for this month, nothing can convince me to play telegram missions again besides the instances of special rewards, to which this month has nothing to do with it.

Finally a discount on dogs I been wanting that for a while, shame rockstar really went out their way to do bounty hunter work in gta but it’s some how that much worse than normal bounty hunting in red dead which is actually good.
