      Yep. City will have a hard time getting back to 1st place, but there is no way they're not bouncing back to top 3. People are just shortsighted and see the current trend and make judgements based on that, when the last few years have shown that City is capable to bounce back from weird positions. This is the same team that won the league two years ago after lagging 8 points behind a fantastic Arsenal side. And now people are saying that City won't make it even into the top 3 when they're merely 2 points behind 2nd place? That's crazy.

      Hardly. Liverpool spent longer chasing a brilliant City (pretty much all of Klopps era) and have league and champions league winning experienced players all through their team. Arsenal have won very little and had one or two good seasons while Liverpool changed a manager and sorted out their midfield. Arsenal has just kept the seat warm for the rightful challengers.

    I think most peoples’ reaction to Man City is a bit over the top. Yes, they are not in good form and feel Liverpool will go on to the win the league but I see City turning this around and challenging for second. In their next 6 games, they have Crystal Palace, Leicester and Everton. They also have United and Forest at home. Slowly but surely their injured players are returning.

    I do think Man City will finish in the top 3 at least. Arsenal probably the only team that can realistically catch Liverpool. Chelsea 4th, don’t think they’re ready to compete with the other 3 teams just yet.

    I think Arsenal are the biggest danger to Liverpool this season, not City. They just can't cope without Rodri it seems. I know it's a long season but Arsenal look good again with Odegaard back. But obviously Liverpool are in a great position.

    I think people need to remember it’s still only December and there is still more then half a season to go. Newcastle vs Manchester United 1995-96 ring any bells? If there’s one team that could go on an undefeated run until the end of the season it’s Man City and if there’s is one manager that could pull that off it’s Pep. We’ve seen it before. The second half of the season seems to be the game changer

    As an Arsenal fan I wish this downfall was last season as I predicted but it’s been pretty obvious for a couple years now that Man City have not replaced what brought them so much success, losing Mahrez, Sterling, Palmer, and Alvarez and not replacing them is expecting a car to work without all the parts that go around an engine. I think Man City also remind me of England during the euros in that they have no width whatsoever in which they cannot rely on halaand through the centre. They’re squad is extremely old (especially midfield) and they just haven’t brought in the right talent to replace that

    It's not a mini crisis. It's big crisis at City actually. It shows you how valuable Rodri is to the team and especially the midfield. Other players haven't pickup the load in his absence. Some of them have had to deal with their own little injuries as well. No chance for the title and they are definitely in a dog fight for top 4.
