Brighton is a hard team to play against with 10 draws and only 4 losses. United drew against Liverpool and beat Arsenal in the FA cup. I don’t think it is a bad team, the players need time to adjust to the style of the new coach.

Forget about “tweaking” the system to get results now!!
Fix the problem by working through the losses. Accept the we will be losing until things change.
Ending top 10 or top 5 without fixing the problems will not mean a thing.

Erik left this same squad that plays 4 defenders well but at 13th position.

Players are not holding on to the ball, dribbling is terrible, passes are horrible…this is on the players.
No playing style or system will fit these players. Ten Hag is to blame for the degrading of this team and club!
Slot picked up the reigns from a proper coach and continues with the same/similar system.
    Amorim is not to blame.

I don't think Amorim is a poor manager. I think he has wrong players. Managers aren't a problem in man utd. Same bus but different drivers will not work until the bus is changed

Lol these guys have 24 hour memory. "The system, the system, the system"
Against Liverpool and Arsenal, it was "oh the system works! Where was this Man Utd all along?"
The question posed back then was "can they summon this spirit against lesser teams?" Clearly the answer is no. But seemingly everyone has forgotten they asked this question and now we're back to "the system, the system, the system"

Exactly it's the end of the world after a loss. 3 mistakes for the goals. It was not like the newcastle game where we got battered. We did not play well but if you make those mistakes you're going to lose its that simple

@craigmchugh4309 I don't know how it has evaded so many that United have been lower mid-table quality for years. Ten Hag may have won 2 cups, but the FA Cup was a combination of incredible luck and downright miracles. A miracle against Liverpool, sheer luck vs Coventry and luck again in the final v City. Every team except Barnsley has looked better than us in recent history and everybody could walk through our centre at will. What saved us back then was poor finishing from the lower teams, but we would absolutely get punished against Liverpool, City and even Spurs. Against lower opps, we would rely on a moment of magic from Bruno or a Garnacho overhead kick. That luck had to run out at some point and now our true place in the table is being revealed. Never forget, we got 4 from BRENTFORD in ten Hag's second game - a week after Brighton played us off the park. This is not new.

I don't think Brighton is a lesser team though. I think they have a more talented squad than United. They've beaten them 6 times out of the last 7 PL games. They've beaten them 3 seasons in a row at Old Trafford. That's the reality of it at the moment

Amorim’s stubbornness not to change the formation and tactics until he gets the players he needs that can actually play in his system is going to get him the sack!!
It’s not a sign of weakness, failure or even backtracking on previous comments, it’s common sense and no one would judge him if he did… he’s being naive….
If he would have gotten a pre-season etc, then yeah, it wouldn’t look good but he didn’t and has to use whats in front of him.
What’s that saying about the definition of a fool….. “someone who does the same thing over and over again expecting different results” 😂😂

x3 average defenders and x2 no.10 's who won't be in position, to track back for goals at the post of block crosses..... Amorim : ' It is all the players fault. ' I'm sorry he is an absolute JOKE of a manager.

Another stubborn manager like Ten Hag. Opponents comes with different styles, is all about adjusting your team to override them. You can use your style when is right or use it on one half. Bro, get some result for Manchester United.

'It's not about the system. ' ...... Puts x2 no.10 s who thematically will not press/ compete as much and are the type of players to not track back a win tackles. Followed by the ' they need to compete more.' .... come on it's the system, it's blindingly obvious. Amorim is terrible at this level of managing and this quality of league. I'll give him credit, he is inexperienced. But he should never have got this job and he is being extremely naive and quite unknowledgeable in my opinion.
