- In this video titled EU4 A to Z - Playing As Medri Bahri Is ACTUAL PHYSICAL PAIN I play as Medri Bahri in Europa Universalis 4 1.35 Domination. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Medri Bahri and I attempt to conquer the entire Red Sea coastline So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. As Mewar form Prussia
because mewar is known as the prussia of india(I think), why not form rajputana and own the entire prussia state, or outright form prussia, your choice

The tag for Warsangali is WAR, so own it to have Me WAR
Mewar has a yellow sun on a dark red flag, and so does quito, so you should conquer them
since "mewar never changes" is an actual achievement, your goal for mewar, is "mewar always changes" and the idea is to form/become at least 3 different tags (number can be adjusted as needed)
Maybe as a secondary goal, he could -- being MeWAR -- have to form the opposite of a warlike nation: Tibet
The least painful sequence would probably be
Mewar>Rajputana>Become Sikh>Become Punjabi>Punjab>Become Nepali>Nepal>Become Jharkandi OR Garjati>Nagpur>Orissa>Become Marathi>Marathas>Become Muslim>Deccan>Delhi>Hindustan
Every Non-Endgame Indian Formable! The order dosen't really matter outside of doing Punjab before becoming muslim, as you can go Hindu>Sikh>Muslim via the religion screen instead of using rebels. You could add more culture changes to form tags outside of India of course. An easy extension would be Become Iranian>Persia>Mughals

Come on, Hawk. Playing Medri Bahri can't be actual, physical pain. For that to be true, you'd have to have someone electrocute you each time you make a mistake playing as them. And what kind of idiot is dumb enough to do that?
i think the reason the ai tends to expand toward you is because you tend to leave a power vacuum around yourself. everyone you fight but don't kill is weakened and neighboring AIs see weak enemies next to you and are like "it's free real estate."
This is why you bordergore in the first war to wall your food off :p

Huzah! Finally Mewar. No Allies, all vassal within modern India borders... No rhyme or reason, Mewar is just that awesome with it's ideas and mission tree!
If you play in the area, Massawa is actually a good province to spawn the Faceting event on. With Ethiopia it's a lot easier since with Origins there is the event that makes the province of Aksum cheaper to dev (it's close to Massawa) and there's a mission that gives dev to Massawa and renames it Adulis. As long as Massawa/Adulis hits 15 dev and Renaissance is embraced and has spread to the province you can reliably fire the event.
Not sure if devving Massawa itself for the Renaissance is worth it but at least you don't need to dev it extra in order to get it to at least 15 dev to get the event.
I don't wait for Mainz anymore, I only wait for the epic sponsorship in that episode.
Right off the bat. I feel like if you’re going to do history on a place you should properly know how to pronounce it. I will write it in a way phonetically so you have no choice but to know how to pronounce it. It would be great if you edited your video to say it correctly. Please remember the point of writing something phonetically is for the reader to be able to properly say the word or words as they’re meant to be said. What I am going to write is not the actual spelling.

While playing as one of the few Coptic nations, it pains me that he only white peaced Mamluks in the second war instead of taking Alexandria back.
Honestly didn't believe you'd pull it off, when mamluks declared. I know from experience, fighting them as ethiopia, they are quite strong, even when evenly matched, and you were a tech down. They get so much force limit as well, in just a few years, if they don't get attacked by the ottomans they can really get quite scary.
This should be an official achievement!

I'm trying to learn the game starting in Ireland and its brutal atm. Within 12 months England has allied at min 2 of the other opm's, Scotland normally has another. If you start lienscter England declares conquest at 12 months. After like 45 restarts I've had one game where I've gotten everything except the one province England allied but by then they had all of Scotland and even with France and Castille allied I can't win the war whether I declare first or they do.
Hi. This isn't CK3. Starting the game in Ireland is advanced mode. If you want a good, chaotic start to learn off of, try playing in Japan as Oda or Shimazu. You'll get the mechanics fast, and if you screw up, it's low-risk to just restart.
@@henryglennon3864 yeah I've kinda picked that up. It's not so much about wanting chaos it's more so about starting with less systems/mechanics in play at high importance. Like the tutorials available don't cover a lot if not most systems that are active or important if you start a game as like France or the Ottomans. Or at least that's how it seems to me. It feels like if I start as am opm where I can grow out and learn systems as they become relevant that feels easier for me to come to grips with.

Ideas for Munster and Münster videos, one is to swap provenance with the other so Münster is in Munster and Munster is in Münster, second video is in a Multiplayer Campaign try conquer as much of Europe as possible between the two OPMs

@@danshakuimo Because it is the incorrect culture and the Tigrayans/Tigraway/Tegaru/Agame harbour hate and incite violence towards the Kebessa/Tigrinya/Biher-Tigrinya, who are the ones who really reside there.

@@danshakuimo Yes, Medri Bahri's southern river extended to the Mereb River. The Tigrayans called Medri Bahri "Mereb Melash" which means "Beyond the Mereb river" and this is because they were on the other side of it. Ge'ez is a very old language, the first in the Horn of Africa, believed to have originated in Eritrea. The earliest recorded Ge'ez inscriptions were on the Hawulti Obelisk iirc. Ge'ez is the direct ancestor of Tigrinya, which also originated in Eritrea. As the language died out, Tigrinya was picked up by the Tegaru due to the close proximity of the southern Eritrean border and the Tegaru province. The Amhara chose to create Amharic which utilises the same as Tigrinya (Ge'ez) but developed heavy Cushtic influences.
