I have been sewing like 12yrs and I still can't sew anything in an hour lol. Also I was a SAHM, homemaker for 10 years and you are giving me a new appreciation for those years. In my experience society doesn't value homemakers anymore but this is how that view changes!
Bobbin trick: there is a hole in the bobbin that you can put the thread thru when you are re-winding a bobbin instead of wrapping it around to get started. Sometimes that can be loose and hard to get started. Just poke the thread thru that hole, hold it up, and start spinning, then cut it off at any time.
I wish I would have seen these kinds of videos already when I was just given birth to my first child (and had just turned 21 years old myself). Society doesnt give much value to the homemaker and motherhood so its very nice to watch videos that appreciate work happening at home!
Oh how I wish there would have been TH-cam to watch when I was a young mom of 4 back in the 80's. We frequently were transfered and I had to start over making friends with other moms. TH-cam would have helped me not to feel lonely during those transitions (I was a sahm). I also learn so much (like sewing certain things and cooking new recipes) technology really is so helpful.
In stead of using the facing, You can also just cut 2 apron fronts, put the ties on between the layers, sew the pockets on, then put them right sides together and sew the whole thing together, flip, stitch closed. If you leave the bottom open when you flip, you can add a ruffle or something and sew closed at that tims. You can make them reversible too with two different fabrics lol.
Andrea, your seedlings look a bit nitrogen starved. Yellow leaves is a clue. Starter mix and using just water will wash out any nutrients for tiny plants . A good multipurpose fertilizer will fix that 😊for the future.
The roast taco's looked so good, I imagine the leftover meat would freeze and reheat well too. I like the color of your kitchen cabinets! Mine are a pretty blue color (painted old cabinets) ~ yours are very cheerful!
The apron was so pretty, loved the material you picked out for it! And the meal you cooked looked so yummy!!😋 Thanks for sharing with us, and thanks for the recipe!😊
i am absolutely loving your channel! thank you so much for sharing all you do 💖 this might be a silly question but what are the washer shaped weights that you use while cutting the pieces for your sewing projects? I took a peek in your amazon store front and didn't see them in there. thank you again and happy belated mother's day!
Hi Andrea. Another great meal. I've decided last week that I just need to prepare every meal you make. They are so good! I loved the material that you made the apron from. Ty for sharing with us.
The very first thing I made in Home Ec was an apron. Just the standard half apron. But it taught us how to cut, sew straight and do gathers. That was way back in 1970
Your food looked soooo delicious!! Love the fabric for the apron! I’m sure you’re going to have a wonderful summer garden!!! Still loving your kitchen and that fantastic refrigerator!!!!
I don't know if you can have coconut, but Azure has a delicious coconut powder that is a great creamy addition to coffee, since you can't have dairy. 😊
I love your kitchen cabinet color I love lime green and fushia pink I have a new orleans's picture in my kitchen with the lime green color I have teal walls in my kitchen but my house is a french farm house with a flare you could say looks good the pasta
Genuinely curious your thoughts on raw milk for your dairy issues? Considering your sisters and how close y’all are, I’m sure you’re well informed on raw milk versus pasteurized lol! We have dairy goats and have no issues with their milk but I’ve never had raw cows milk to know if we’d struggle with that or not. Beautiful video!!
I am trying to heal my gut to get to the point where I can drink raw milk! I try it every once in a while and I am still sensitive to it! 😫 I am curious about goats milk. The test I took specifically tested for cows milk.
@@Oursweetsunnydays that’s so interesting! None of our allergies are too terrible but I do notice issues drinking milk and as a kid it made me very sick. That changed with my second pregnancy weirdly enough! I don’t have any issues with goats milk though. Prayers for a healed gut and some delicious milk for you soon 😋
I just painted 5 rooms in our house to freshen up rooms and just can’t get the kitchen right. I picked a pale sage, but it looks like mint milk. The sunroom ended up buttercream after years of red copper. How do you pick your room colors?
Maybe think about lowering the volume of your background music... it's overpowering your voice..especially when listening with my earbuds.. I do absolutely love your kitchen color... mine is green as well but with purple trim and accents..12 years later and I still love it!!

That's good to hear haha! Thank you so much!

I wish that I had the vision, confidence and foresight you do when I was your age. WOW!
Well thank you!

Great idea! I think the reversible with two different fabrics would be perfect!

That beef recipe looked delicious! And, I'm sure your friend will love the apron. Enjoyed this video.
I hope so! :)

Hello Andrea, do you by any chance have a link for the apron ? I love it.
It's the Seamwork Alex pattern sewn with liberty quilting cotton :)
I don't know if you can have coconut, but Azure has a delicious coconut powder that is a great creamy addition to coffee, since you can't have dairy. 😊

Hello Andrea. I think that is your name? You are very creative and talented. Allow yourself Grace. Nice Apron. STTB*SHARED TO THE BURGH*
Thank you so much!
How do you print out patterns from seamworks? Do you need a special printer or?
I would like to know too, just joined seamworks
I get them printed locally!
What is a good sewing machine for a beginner?
That pasta sounds good!👌🏻
It's soo easy and yummy!
Another great video ❤️👍
That looks yummy
Yummy I’ll have to try that
Looks delicious. Do you sew when the baby is napping? Nice presentation on the apron.

Ooo sounds pretty! I don't have any specific strategy - just go with what me and my husband are feeling! :)
Could you put a link to the gardening channel you mentioned? Thank you! ❤️
I don't know if she has a TH-cam! Her farm is called Floret. :)
Thank you! Clearly I was listening closely enough 😂
Any sewing project that is well done isn’t quick , at least it never was for me !
That's encouraging to hear! I sew real slow!
Yummy ❤️
Thank you 😋
Great content
Nice routine ☺️ but.... Merci d'activer le sous titres pour toutes les longues.
