This had so much potential....cause with Sarah dead , reese would have made it his mission to get revenge and this could have created a new timeline in which reese and the t800 would have bee hunting each other and possibly the t800 being discovered by cyberdyne and reese creating a new resistance in the years following Sarah's death and in that could have let to a new story ...why they never though about this I'll never know but I'm smh.
Very interesting, even if kyle Reese fails his mission, in fact he's the one important, he knows about skynet existence, and if he has a son with a random woman, that can be John Connor as well, and train him as Sarah could do in the original one. It is just my opinion 😅
But if in this new version of the future Kyle Reese is the leader of the Resistance, then Skynet would have no knowledge of any Sarah Connor or John Connor because they wouldn't exist. So Skynet would never try to assassinate Sarah Connor. It might try to kill Kyle Reese's mother since now he's the main rival of the machines. Not to mention that there would be two Kyle Reese persons in this new timeline.
Depending how old Reese was when he first came back in time and failed, maybe he would be too much old to be able to lead anything... A possible approach could be the delivering of the terminator remains to some kind of authority after he managed to destroy it and convince them the dangers of continuing with the skynet project instead of leaving the terminator parts behind as Sarah did, letting Dyson's crew recovered the parts and speeding up the development of the micro processor that became skynet's heart... Not to mention the fact that two Kyle Reeses could coexist at the same time...
To answer the age issue, we first need to determine if Genisys is cannon. Ifnit is, he was born in 2004, the final battle is in 2029. Mak9ng hom netween 24 and 26, call it 25. That's 45 years, mKing him about 70 YO, under this timeline. That's plausible, as a soldier he would know how to stay in fighting shape. Can you make video about timeline paradoxes, time line loops, boot strap paradox. The series "DARK" has their theory time travel. Also Terminator 1, the machine will be in Read Only, so I know how Terminator will switch his priorities to eliminate Kyle Reese when his mission is complete What's not explained are alternate timelines. Let's assume if someone went back in time and had knowledge of future sporting events outcomes, made large bets, and became a millionaire overnight, will that create an alternate universe?
Yes and no.. The machines will still do what they do. An kill 98.9 of humanity.. At least the rich person well have a Bunker.. "But if it's us" meaning our timeline.. Nothing much not unless you're evil and into politics..
He couldn't fail, because according to John Conner's past, Reese already did it. John was sending him back to do what John already knew he did. There would be no way to fail, no choice to do what you are going to do when you do it. His actions only go the way they go and he wouldn't be able to do it any different, because there was no other different way but only the way it went. If you mean what if it went a different way. Then Reese wouldn't have even been sent back and there would be an endless amount scenarios of what would or could happen. It would be like saying, "What would have happened in my families lineage if my great grandparents never met. Well, there's an endless amount of things that could have happened, but it's not worth thinking about all of it or really any of it for that matter, because there is nothing you can focus on, as there are endless directions to go in and make up. I left the above comment just because of the title alone, but I see what you did. You made up a new story. It was interesting and pretty imaginative.
From what I understand, that's not how Terminator's time travel rules work. As Bruce said in Avengers Endgame "if you travel to the past, that past becomes your future and your former present becomes the past, which can't now be changed by your new future". This is exactly what's going on in the Terminator franchise. Basically, Kyle can fail at protecting Sarah. John can die at the handa of the T-1000. John's lieutenants can die (which was shown in Terminator 3). Whatever happens in the past doesn't matter, and for some reason, Skynet, John Connor everyone else didn't understand that. So yeah, everything that has happened in every Terminator movie has all been pointless by the looks of it.
@@XenoTronusWeePoo850 Except in the Terminator, if the past becomes your future and it's a time loop paradox, what ever you already did in the past is already done, so everything is set and can not be changed. That's what the rule is about, a paradox. That's what the Terminator movie presented in the plot written for the movie. That's how a time loop paradox works and/or that is the time travel rules that were set up in the first Terminator and then those rules weren't followed in the other movies. Kyle can't fail to protect Sarah, because he already protected Sarah. Time tells us that it all already happened. Sarah knows Kyle protected her in 1884, that's what John knows and that's why John sends Kyle back. John knows Kyle's destiny, because it's all been done already, it's just carried out to fulfill what was already done. There was no other way of doing what couldn't be changed.
@@TechCom101 something I've always wondered, who is the homeless guy? It seems strange to me that kyle would just go up and take his pants from him. I wonder if he's a resistance fighter who was sent earlier, or a previously sent Kyle. I'd like to get your thoughts on that.
It's stated in the video that the Terminator concluded that only one with knowledge of the future would've been prepared to stop him from killing Sarah.
Within the cannpn of the movie, this scene has always bothered me. The T 800 rackibg the slide to chamber a round. It's never made sense to me. First, we see a mag change at thw apartment. One that he sends the slide home, chambering the top round in tat magazine. But it has to rechamber a round at Tech Noir. As if it unloaded the chamber, and insterted the magazine, on its way there. It's a precision machine. Trigger discipline would not be an issue. It wouldn't even need the safety to prevent a ND, as it's never going to accidentally press the trigger. Frankly put, Sarah should have been #3 that night, using logic.
I remember looking this up someone already has a logical answer The Terminator did not know which Sarah Connor was correct and it would've just kept searching for people with the same name and killing them for as long as it could
A T800 is in the past. It will give itself up to Cyberdyne for study. We're talking about Skynet here, it understood how the flow of time works & how possible timelines can occur. People seriously need to get this out of their heads of this timeline loop paradox, it's been stated since the very beginning, "no fate but we make", it can't get anymore obvious. 10:55

You do great work. I'd like to see many of your ideas put into practice. 👍
@@paradigm_sh1ft532 Thanks, I'll do my best to implement them in a way that's believable and true to the lore.
They should make this a movie
Can you make video about timeline paradoxes, time line loops, boot strap paradox. The series "DARK" has their theory time travel. Also Terminator 1, the machine will be in Read Only, so I know how Terminator will switch his priorities to eliminate Kyle Reese when his mission is complete
What's not explained are alternate timelines.
I actually have something in mind for my rewrite of Terminator: Genesis, yes, I'm re-spelling it correctly as well.
Amazing bro
Why thank you.
@@XenoTronusWeePoo850
Except in the Terminator, if the past becomes your future and it's a time loop paradox, what ever you already did in the past is already done, so everything is set and can not be changed.
U gotta make more videos brother
I would love to, the past year was rough. Barely ad time to make videos on my main channel.
@@TechCom101 well I rather have no video than a a fucking shit post that looks like it was made in 2005
This was pretty kool, but wasnt it two grandfather paradoxes in one ? but then the whole movies franchise is that really, so Its all good
I try not to think of the paradoxes, it just makes things more confusing.
This is excellent.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
@@TechCom101 something I've always wondered, who is the homeless guy? It seems strange to me that kyle would just go up and take his pants from him. I wonder if he's a resistance fighter who was sent earlier, or a previously sent Kyle. I'd like to get your thoughts on that.
@@2tonimage I always just assumed he was a resident of 1984, tho maybe he WAS Old Man Reese. I honestly didn't consider THAT. Thanks.
you just earned a new subscriber.
This would be a pretty good What If,What if kyle never found got a gun. What would he do?
Probably fail.
It's L.A during the 80s
There are guns everywhere! 😅
what if he didn't shag sarah conner
Amazing
Thanks
I'm glad Reese Saved Sarah or we wouldn't have Terminator 2 which was a masterpiece of a sequel
It's not a"Big man"
It's F Terminator Cyberdyne system 101!
I like it like the movie hell yeah!!! Very Interesting and something new better than the last 2 garbage terminator movies(genesis/dark fate)!!
Thanks, I do my best.
Agreed!
Dark Fate wasn’t a bad movie, but definitely was the worse sequel.
Quite a twist!
Nothing would have happened. It is a movie.
Damn man, this is dark.
who wrote this alt fiction? This is GREAT!
But the dumb bearded guy - James Cam- cam- cam... eron?
some of the acting on this channel is cringe but the stories are AWESOME.
make more content.
It’s was Don Jon , this is Genysis . ⚡️🎊📡
James cameron caused her to die 😂
How would the terminator know that Reese was from the future, or had any knowledge of Skynet?
It's stated in the video that the Terminator concluded that only one with knowledge of the future would've been prepared to stop him from killing Sarah.
@@danielblair4413 Oh, I see. I must have missed that.
I remember looking this up someone already has a logical answer
The Terminator did not know which Sarah Connor was correct and it would've just kept searching for people with the same name and killing them for as long as it could
2:45 - 3:17
Very awesome
If this happened SkyNet wouldn’t exist
Skynet still be built at some point
A T800 is in the past. It will give itself up to Cyberdyne for study. We're talking about Skynet here, it understood how the flow of time works & how possible timelines can occur. People seriously need to get this out of their heads of this timeline loop paradox, it's been stated since the very beginning, "no fate but we make", it can't get anymore obvious. 10:55
Cool video please welcome your new sub
bearded man ahaaha
Kyle would have disappeared because John never sent him back
Time Travelling in Terminator doesn't change the past, it creates a new timeline.
@@Samuello2024 correct! I never understood why people don't get this!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
We need New T=100s to restore a new generation of people/Genysis ❤📡🌍🇺🇸😎❄️👼
Didn't he fail? After all Sarah killed the Terminator!
I never understood if all T-800s look the same how come Reece didn't recognise the Terminator until he drew his gun?
The T-800 is the endoskeleton model and 101 (Arnold) is the skin model number, so a T-800 model 102 or 103 would look like a different person.
@@talibanty3169 in the first Terminator film Reece referers to the Terminator as a model 101 so he's obviously familiar with that model so that still doesn't explain why he didn't recognise it?
@@skully7159 Maybe he knew the endoskeleton and skin model number but hadn’t seen it yet. He did say they were new. Could have been part of his debriefing before time traveling. A few minutes later, he referred to the 600 series with rubber skin as easy to spot. I think it was a goof up with the scriptwriters imo
*Wrong.* , The T-800s do not look the same, The Models 101s Do.
This is just terrible. 🤣
And none of those 1000 thoughts was "Holy shit move!"
