I love the show. And I understand the need to introduce Alton and his history w/ the Panthers, what it does for the story. But I always found it boring and slow. It would’ve been just as easy to show the conflict of all the $ and the damage to the community in Franklin himself. Plus it would’ve helped his character development-to me, ever since he killed Manboy he’s been driven solely by $-there’s nothing else to his character, even his talk about Veranique and the baby is bullshit
