Whatever fitness Kipchoge has lost to Father Time has only brought him somewhat back to the rest of the field. He still leads that field by an absurd distance. We should all consider ourselves lucky to watch this man run. Appreciate greatness y’all!

Hasn't ended his career here but maybe he should...the youngsters were not brave enough to take him on today but were still in toughing distance by the end..i cannot see him getting quicker now or defending his title in Paris...i understand his competitive nature will make him want to compete..personally i would rather see him go now and forever being seen as superhuman...rather than what normally happens when they lose and become more vulnerable and certain amount of disappointment kicks in with the masses because of the expectation and it takes a little shine off all that has gone before.

It's funny - a Tigist Assefa broke the women's marathon world record by an incredible 2 minutes 11 seconds...but Kipchoge gets a video for NOT running a world record. Waited all day to see if a video went up and since it's nearly 11pm my time I'm guessing this just wasn't important enough to get a video today. But, Kipchoge won his 5th Berlin Marathon so never mind the women's record, huh? Yes, that was sarcasm. I realize people have lives...

Kipchoge is not only a marathoner, he is a sportsman. I have come to like his mentality and respect he has for others. I am thinking of starting running short marathons and if possible '' keep jogging club '' I wish to congratulate the young girl who came third from TZ. Thanks to Nation TV and all those who made it possible for us viewers to enjoy watching.
