As someone who was bullied as a kid, the second story nearly made me tear up. Even if it might be morally dubious, I 100% support what the parent did to help Becky. Especially since even a 10 year old IS old enough to realise bullying a cancer survivor is shitty, little bastard had it coming. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

as a fellow former bullied kid, i agree. that place’s responses tho to both instances had me ready to RAGE. that’s pretty much exactly how every one of my schools “handled” my bullies. just a bunch of lazy, ignorant, unqualified, power tripping, dumb fcks who ofc dgaf abt doing their job or abt their students. 😅🙄

After Josh read that op got pregnant by accident the second time this nauseating feeling settled in my stomach, which only worsened after finding out that he is a medical professional. I instantly thought that he might have tempered with her birth control. It would absolutely fit with his general vibe, dating a 21 year old at 35 and adamantly wanting her to be a stay at home mom. I hope op gets some testing done to see if her birth control is being tempered with or talks to him directly. Although I highly doubt that he would confess to anything if he actually did it. He would probably rather gaslight her into oblivion.
But even if he didn't temper with her birth control I think op should still divorce him. He is not a supportive husband and very clearly displayed creepy behavior by dating that young. Plus his attitude towards the nanny.
Op should really leave his ass and take the children and nanny with her. She deserves way better.

I was thinking she should talk to him too, but the more I think about it, the more I believe if she did talk to him about it, she should do it AFTER she’s able to gather evidence proving he did in fact tamper with her birth control. Because if she confronts him before she’s able to prove it, I get the feeling he will find a way to cover his tracks so she can’t get the proof she needs. So I think she should investigate it and gather what she can proving he did tamper with her birth control, and then confront him. And when she does, she needs to at least audio record the confrontation, that way he can’t try to deny anything he says at a later date. This is very dangerous and controlling behavior. This girl is literally going through Stockholm syndrome with this man.

2nd story - John is the GOAT! Make 'em paaaaaay 🤣 When I was a kid, about to start secondary school my Dad gave me the "talk" about what to watch out for and school life. "If a kid tries to bully you, just hit them square in the face and do it hard enough they won't forget about it anytime soon". His advice used to make me laugh (I absolutely loved school and my school mates) but now as an adult, I've seen the extent of inaction from some adults who are in positions of authority. I'm starting to think my Dad may have had a point...🤔😂

Given the wife whose husband was prescribing her “birth control” there will be a record of what was prescribed to her. She needs to get legal help into looking into that. It’s against the law for a dr to manipulate someone’s health and well being. That’s psychotic behavior and it was a way for him to trap you to a point where if you ever leave him, he will still be apart of your life weather you want to be or not. This is Stockholm syndrome. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I kind of agree with OP, IF sister knew at the time of getting together with that boy. If she was dating him as a beard and he didn’t know, that is really selfish and screwed up. She’s young so I think being young and dumb is why she did it but I think it should be a lesson to her. Instead of getting mad at her sibling for pointing it out, she should apologize to the boy for leading him on. Do the right thing and maybe OP would be supportive then.

      That’s what I was thinking.
And almost an entire year, that’s a long time, enough for your to decide if you “weren’t sure”.

    • @kaitlynmorgan4613
      @kaitlynmorgan4613 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

for real. im also lgbt and i agree with op cause like.. judging by what she said, aka "i knew i was a lesbian for a year" its INSANEEEE to keep dating that guy. no mentions of comphet, no confusing platonic love with romantic love, not "looking back on it, it was obvious," just full on knowing she was a lesbian and leading this guy on. people shouldnt be mad at op for pointing out that their sister hurt someone, the sister should be apologizing to that guy for leading him on for so long as you said. queer people dont get and excuse because we're queer, we have to face consequences and own up to mistakes. staying with someone you dont have feelings for, especially longer than 2 weeks (giving grace here because sometimes you have to reflect on how you feel) is just horrible

    • @vindifference
      @vindifference 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

Yeah, I'd agree with that. I'm always very critical of the collateral damage ppl leave in the wake of their sexuality journeys. Those of us who aren't straight have had it rough, but life isn't just about us, so if there's even a possibility we're toying with someone's feelings, it needs to stop. At the very least you should let a partner know you're questioning your possible bisexuality when it starts becoming something that may affect the relationship.
Apart from that, as a gay guy I don't even think congratulations are necessary, regardless of how much courage it may take to come out. It never felt like an appropriate response to me, especially when it's something we're trying to normalize as not being a big deal. A person should be able to respond with a simple "cool" or "okay" and move on. Congratulations for coming out is giving "Gender Reveal Party" energy. Meh.

To lead a young boy on for 10 months , if you knew for years, that you are not into this gender, is f***** up. Just because you are too afraid to come out, you shouldn't use another person as cover, who is really in love with you. Just stay single and pretend to be in love with a celebrity you don't stand any chance with. So I understand that OP is disappointed in her sister. She probably doesn't see what the big deal is with being a lesbian, the way she tells this story. So at least she's not homophobic.

can you imagine if story 4 (the husband who wants to trap his wife) tried making moves on the nanny, it didnt work, and so he tried to get her fired? ooor he wanted the nanny gone so he can safely see her if she were to accept his advances 💀💀
also coming from an lgbt person, the fifth story.. ops sister was fcked up for that. she *knew* she was a lesbian (for a YEAR....). that means she was done being in her comphet phase (intentional or not) and knew she couldnt like him. unless she was on the fence about it while confusing platonic love for romantic love, she was in the wrong and i agree with op. looking back is different cause its like "i shouldve known based on x y and z." and if she didnt break up with him while fully knowing/accepting herself because she'd feel bad for him,, thats also terrible. you cant just lead people on like that and instead of being mad at op for pointing out that she hurt someone, she should apologize for hurting that guy
even though the dude was just a "mutual," even if he was a full on stranger id be upset for him. thats how empathy goes

And "try it out" and "make sure", if those were her motives, are absolutely no excuse on hurting a guy who was "head over heels" for her. My literal first thought was who tf would prescribe her three at once, because like no. No one is going to. Of course it’s the creep husband. About the 3rd story. I have a half sister that was consequence of adultery on my father's part. My mom and part of my family knew all along she existed, but not me, they hid from me for 7 years. Until one day when I was 14 years old my father came and told me everything (I discovered later that most of it was a lie). She was 7 at the time and the only reason he told me that was that her mother passed and she was going to live with us next year. He said to me "well, you always wanted a brother or sister right?" No. I never wanted siblings, never ever, but that wasn't a choice I could change.
She moved in with us, but it was super difficult at the beginning. I admit I was a bitch to her and hated her presence. Well, she's 14 now and I'm 21. It was a though ride to get to accept her, accept that she's innocent and to see her as my sister and not just a blood related person.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I don't blame OP at all, I understand her more than anything. Of course I would not blame on the baby, but that is a thing she need to heal and mature on like i did. Oh, and a lot, A LOT of therapy!
Sorry if I missed spell something, English is not my first language ❤

Same as when women/men use members of the LGBTQIA community as their own experiment. It's wrong to toy with people's feelings. If you're not sure, you shouldn't be stringing someone along. Just curious, what happened to the timestamps?? The next ep doesn’t have them either. I love the timestamps.

I'm not gonna say how because I don't want to risk giving anyone any ideas but you can also easily tamper birth control pills at home and don't need to be a medical professional giving them the prescription yourself, so if you're concerned about this it's safer having them where your partner can't get to or doesn't know where they are

Birth control: if he’s tampering with it, it’s NOT in the prescription. You can’t prescribe placebos. The only supplement that interferes with birth control is St John’s Wort, and even there the data is mixed.
My best friend’s mother was on birth control, including an IUD, with all three of her pregnancies. So it DOES happen. Most likely it has something to do with how OP’s body metabolizes the medication and she needs a higher dose.
TLDR if he’s tampering with the birth control it’s not through the prescription

I'm offering a correction to your understanding on drug/drug and drug/supplement interactions:
*Any product that interferes with how the birth control (BC) is metabolized in the body can make the BC ineffective.*
In general, when a person swallows a drug, that drug is processed through the digestive tract for absorption in the blood stream. If you have IBS, Crohn's, or other gut issues, you aren't absorbing some drugs in the same manner. From the digestive blood stream, the drug passes through the liver where it is metabolized. Some drugs aren't activated to be therapeutic _until_ they are metabolized by the liver. And, one way that other drugs and/or supplements (D/S) can inactivate BC is by making the liver work harder than it should to keep up with the metabolization process. Some D/S have more affinity for metabolization, some inactivate therapeutic levels of BC once the D/S is metabolized, etc etc.
St John's Wort is famous for inactivating many other drugs, but there are antibiotics, and other seemingly innocuous over the counter medications that are known for this effect. It is also recommended that an individual take their BC at the same time everyday, simply to maintain the needed level of hormones in their bloodstream so an egg isn't released. If you have BC of too low a dose, say the dosage for hormone replacement therapy, it is only going to be as effective as a placebo.
*TLDR* There are too many ways for a medical professional husband to inactivate birth control, but many of the ways are through simple biochemistry with drug/drug and drug/supplement interactions.

Its very possibly for the woman who got pregnant on birth control to have LITERALLY GOTTEN PREGNANT ON BIRTH CONTROL. My best friend has 6 GIRLS and 5 were conceived ON birth control, so it DOES happen.

While it does happen (I knew a teacher who's kid was in my class who shared that's how they were born when someone said birth control was 100%). The fact the husband prescribes the birth control is enough to be skeptical when it kept happening and that he is adamant about her staying home with the kids.

as a gay woman who tried to come out to her “long term abu$er” to try to finally leave, & was then abu$ed again & forced to stay a bit longer pretending to be “that happy lil straight girl w her super sweet bf”(bc ofc in front of others he put on a show) - op is ABSOLUTELY tah. he has no idea what it’s like to be like us, he hasn’t lived her life or had to go through the social gymnastics just to hide from others & blend in, he didn’t have to listen to what she had to hear her peers her say abt other ppl like her before they knew, he has no idea what he’s talking abt.
the kid will be fine.. they’re literally teenagers, he’s got plenty of time to fall in love w plenty of ppl.. his sister however, has just FINALLY come up for air. & what she needs is her ppl there for her to encourage her & lift her up & show her they love & support her nmw. what hes doing is telling/showing her the exact opposite of that.

Just because LGBTQ+ people have a hard life and "he has more time in his hands" doesn't mean she should have played with his feelings. It's cruel and unreasonable.
Of course your experience was terrible and I don't wish it on anyone, but that doesn't entitle people to just use someone else as a "cover" because there was NOTHING that could have gone wrong in avoiding the relationship, but there's plenty that is wrong in leading someone on while KNOWING that you aren't attracted to their genre.
With this, I don't mean in any way to belittle your life or your experiences, but I do want to bring light into how it isn't the argument with which to defend certain actions.

The last story he’s acting like his sister dated him maliciously when more than likely her story is like a lot of women that realize they are fully lesbian and not just bi. I have a friend that said she dated men in high school and trust me when I say if you met her you would not be able to even imagine it lol but yeah it sucks that boys heart was broken but later he will be grateful that his ex was strong enough and had ppl that support her enough for her to tell the truth cus some ppl don’t and they stay in the relationship cus they are scared to tell ppl the truth. Even tho the sister may have known she is still a kid and obviously was confused for a while. You can say hey I feel bad for the dude and still be there for your sis
