To put it into perspective of how the first one is weird with the age gap with the relationship is like, yeah their current age gap isn’t weird BUT she would have been around him when she was 20 and he was 14, when he was 16 and when she was 22, and so on. My old friend got with this dude when she was 22 and he was 30, which isn’t like the worst age gap but the fact that she thought he was cool when she was younger and he was around her a lot as she grew up. The type of relationship dynamic where you watched this person grow up and were around them and then when they hit adulthood you start dating them is very groomy and weird. They likely have a job and some stability in life. There's not the same maturity gap as like 18 and 24 year old would have.
I feel weird about it too but it might be cause i have a young brother and our age gap is 6 years. I would never date his friends like,it feels gross to me.
