Thanks for having a close look at the Regent Road entrances Colin. They are all coming on well & it’s been noted elsewhere that they have started to jet-wash the wall all along on the inside face.
It would be cool getting david badcock on a video with you at some point, that's if he would ever be interested do that sort of thing? Would like to see it. He always has lots of great information
He isn’t unfortunately, the offer is there if he ever changes his mind. The trouble with drone flying is you can’t really plan very far ahead as the weather can put a stop to it almost instantly.
@cp-overview that's fair enough mate would be awesome for a video hopefully david does change his mind eventually we all wanna hear new information even though he is very nice in the comments and gives us lots anyways. Also yeah UK weather rain or wind is terrible for drones, manufacturers of drones have to make drones stronger to handle the bad weather definitely
On the dock walls. Are they going to remove those steel strips that highlight the new and old? Surely it’s better to remove them? Not sure if you know Colin or maybe David B?
Thanks, Colin. Back off the Scotland this week? 1) Thanks for zooming in on the first of the two two-tiered concrete benches which will have "Cobalt-blue glazed tiles" mounted on them. It is a bit of a mouthful, I know. 2) Ok, I've seen enough from the zooming in of the NE corner to say that they ARE the same as those used in the South Stand, particularly when you see the rails all installed in the western end of the Away Fans section. 3) Thanks for zooming in on the posts that I think are for the mood-lighting. 4) I'm pretty sure that the Plywood Platform on the roof is for the PV Installation team to use as a 'dock', workbench area etc. The pattern of 3-bars as opposed to the 2-bars of the panel supports is definitely just around the edge of the area, for now, at least. Have a good week.
Opposite end of the country this week and going back to Kent. Yes as soon as I realised it was a wooden platform rather than packaging I presumed it will be where they are loading the solar panels onto. Mounts for mood lighting makes sense, they are certainly consistent going all the way along to suggest they will be for that.

@@henryb160 😱😆. Funny, but personally, I'm expecting the mood to be much brighter now, coming out of a long dark tunnel. KT is playing out a commendable strategy and IF the ownership can be sorted before the transfer window closes, we might even be allowed to get excited.
@@davidbadcock2225 I think there may still be a bump in the road. I haven't seen any real evidence yet, that an owner can run two sides in the same Euro competition. This needs to be clarified.
The north east double turret, would be great if we could convince United Utilities that we could share both entrances, on match days? Would be useful for vehicles and team bus entrance, walkers of home and away supporters etc.
Even just to reduce pressure of pedestrians pre and post match. As far as I'm aware UU never actively used that access gate in all the years they've been at that site.
@DuncTheBlue1878 yes but easy to have designed a separate set back gate which could be solely UU and have the double turret gates as access for all on matchdays.
Joel: there seems to have been a change in the plans for the location of the segregation of the seats reserved for the East Stand Hospitality Lounge fans, which is somewhat bewildering as there doesn't appear to be an obvious reason for doing so (This might be a good question for Colin to ask of LoR). They have made the area shorter in rows-depth but wider, with the sides being asymmetrical relative to the middle, by pushing the southern edge visible gap further to the south. they have used an extra three seats on the rails to block the gangway for the bottom edge of this Reserved area.
If you also look in front of the seats going across the gangway the terracing is also wider for the people in those seat to have somewhere to put there feet.
@@cp-overview Umm, isn't that de facto as they're in the gangway? Much more significantly the change in design even included a change to the shape of the Accessibility Platform halfway up the Lower Tier and they have inserted an extra Vomitory from the Hospitality Lounge on the next stairway to the south of that, to feed the new imbalanced area. If you look closely you can see inside that Vomitory that like the Vomitories that feed the Accessibility Platforms, it has a level floor and not stairs from below.
Take a look at the East Stand around the 19:00 mark. Does anyone know why the gangway on the lower tier right (south) is wider than all the others? Seems like another row or two of seats would fit in there.
@@SP-1414 Hi. What follows is an opinion, not a fact, but if you're asking about the furthest right/south Lower Tier Vomitory and gangway, then it's to do with the link with the stairway that goes up the edge of the SE corner joint and the amount of 'traffic' at a 'crossroads'. If you're asking about the stairways that travel up from the 2 southern-most Vomitories of the East Stand Lower Tier being wider than others in the East Stand then it's to do with the amount of traffic that will be using them in comparison with elsewhere. In summary, I think it's all to do with footfall and direction of flow calculations.
The main TV camera will be in the middle of the west stand. You can see the platform at 5:59 Much better for broadcasting because the sun won’t be shining into the lens for games during the afternoon. At Goodison, the main TV camera is in the east stand (Upper Bullens) and so faces west - there are often issues with direct sunlight. Of course, there will be other cameras around the stadium for replays and VAR.
First time they switch the scoreboards on they should say …. ‘Kopites are gobshites’ 😂😂 I’m only joking before the inevitable one comes on saying it will be the best ground in the championship 😂

They are staying apparently, I asked the very same question
@@cp-overview ah that’s a shame
If that is a landing platform. They could have just put the wood on the roof. Probably preparation for some kind of energy station. Just my thought👍
I think the wooden platform is a landing pad, to place the solar panels on, to avoid damaging the roof surface.
That’s the conclusion I came to in the end
On your next video, have a look at the pitch side area. They have installed fittings and steel fencing. Could this be for the advertising hoardings?
Also, concrete blocks. I wonder what these are for. I'm sure @davidbadcock2225 will know more.
