I’m Colin, I do Drone views mainly of football related stuff.
I focus mainly on construction at football stadiums but also hope to fly over all 92 football league stadiums in the uk along with as many non league and international stadiums as I can.
My main Stadium builds so far have been Anfield(Liverpool) , Bramley More Dock(Everton) and The Etihad Stadium (Manchester City). Upcoming builds are Wrexham and Stockport as well as Old Trafford at some point.
I recently had a clip appear on “The One Show” on BBC One and have had footage used in a promotional video for Old Trafford.

@cp-overview brilliant...missed your updates
Great video
When will you be back doing the Etihad and Bramley Moore dock?? You been gone for ages 🥺
2 more days, fly home from Egypt tomorrow night
Wow Egypt that's amazing and thanks for letting me know!!! Hope you had a great time over there but I been missing your videos mate
Thank you.
You're welcome!
now thats a club that needs a new stadium badly, it looks terrible
They have done well to expand it as much as they have, the roads are really tight around it and what you can’t see from above is how much of a hill it is sat on.
What’s the work being done to the main touch line grandstand?
Hi Col, when's the next vid mate.

Great old school stadium with lots of memories. Blackburn reaally punched above their weight. Hope to see them back in the Prem, where they belong, soon.
I manager of bamber bridge fc in football manager 😁. I like this club , and i will this team to premier league , i still dreaming for that 😂
*take
I’m an Evertonian but Leeds are an historic club and Elland Road is an iconic stadium. They belong in the Premier League not rotting away in the Championship.
+ 15 000 seats…. while they play
Are there Expansion plans?
Có nhé
@@BauKhanh6886 sure
Yes, there will be plans for a stadium expansion if we get promoted back up to the Premier League.
You could build a new stadium at the back of Leeds United stadium
Lots of expansion potential!
I still find it amazing considering the space around Elland Road and the size and the club that they have not done better here. Leeds should have a 50k plus modern stadium. A series of bad owners has left them in the doldrums. Looks positive the new owners are looking to invest in facilities.
It was the first time I have been here and was quite surprised with the amount of space around the ground
will the Hotel connect to the Stand it self....Or will there be a gap?
It connects at the top I believe
@@cp-overview I was there Sunday.. amazing how much ground works is going on behind the stand.
Absolutely poor and shocking. It seems someone on over seeing the construction team and surveying quality standards from within Lfc responsible for making sure the contractors give the quality the club paid for is sleeping on the job
Stadion mancity
Great video, showing the beauty of the countryside between Burnley and Hebden Bridge
I was cutting across from Burnley to Halifax and came across it, something different to fly around than a football stadium. Drones never do the scenery justice though unfortunately
And before that it was a Horse racing track !
I can see my seat! Turf Moor cricket ground has been there even longer than the football ground and is where Jimmy Anderson leant his trade.
I have been to turf moor a few times but always to a night game and until I filmed this I didn’t even know that was there !
Great video, looks superb
There never seems to be that many people actually working there
Hi Colin just a quick question you or someone may know the answer too - My brother & I are coming up to Liverpool next May & are hoping to visit the site/stadium we have watched develop for the last 3years on yours & other videos! Is it expected that the gates to the plaza area will be opened on non match days to walk around ? Thanks Dave
@@davidcaster5002 it will be as the megastore etc will be open. The bigger question is will it be open to the public by May?
That building where the new woman’s centre is going to be used to be an old HSBC bank.
Looks good in the sunshine, a mini Ibrox. Hope you do Turf Moor soon.
@@seansalmon1977 I have done it, it’s released at 10am on the 20th.
Great 👍
I see the numbers that were abobe the turnstiles on the East stand have noe all gone which is strange. But what ibeill say is ,what another fantastic video
I made this one a week or so ago for release while I was away. So they haven’t been removed because when it was filmed they didn’t exist 😂
@@cp-overview haha I get you. I thought maybe I was going mad lol
you would have thought they would have had a better idea what they were doing with it.....Its quite a prominant building on site
Everton need to start picking up points (not blowing 2 goal leads), and rapid time. Michael Keane will cost Dyche his job. Switch to a back 3 with Branthwaite LCB, O'Brien RCB and Tarkowski CB. McNeill LWB and Harrison RWB. Garner and Iroegbunam or Mangala DCM and Doucoure AMC with DCL and N'Diaye up top. If he doesn't do that and plays Keane in a 2 man CB he will get sacked and if its too late Everton will go down.
Colin, aha, one of your Blue Peter "here's one I prepared earlier" videos. The roof of the Pump House won't end up being used for the public. It's not strong enough/designed to be in use other than for maintenance access. The rails are merely a safety feature. If there were any intention to be using it for 'events or facilities' they wouldn't have laid just large particle-sized crushed limestone gravel' across the surface.
Why cover part of the tracks with flower beds? Isn't that defeating the object of the exercise to preserve the heritage?
You make a fair point, Graham. We can only hazard a guess as to how the likely arguments between the architects/EFC and the Heritage Stakeholders panned out before the planners decided on the balance.
yeah that looks a bit daft
Perhaps the hydraulic tower could become a novelty hotel?
It's not big enough for that. I reckon they will still end up with it as a cafe and light-touch museum (like many pubs theme their internal decorations). In theory, in the longer term it's planned to be the north terminal of the Mersey Walk, all the way from the National Gardens past the other three of the four graces, 😉.
Hey 1 or 2 times you showed where you were quickly and there was another person similar near your car, was that another drone operator??
Possibly Mr D
Correct
Oh yeah he was doing his Sunday weekly fly around that's true, because I saw both you and Mr Drone looking down at your screens near your cars haha 👍
It’s the one great thing about the drone community, everybody gets on and works together so you can get your footage done, Nick was filming one end while I was at the other.
Stunning detail👌
What’s happening with the old dock wall around the blue water effect flags? As it stands it’s clearly at a slightly lower level than the surrounding flags and will be a massive trip hazard, especially as thousands leave the stadium. Are they levelling it off somehow?
No they're going to leave it as a trip hazard. 🤷♂️
@@jaythatsallyouneedtoknow9642 yes, thanks. The question was more how are they going to solve the problem. I thought they wanted to keep the top of the wall there as a feature, levelling it off will likely cover the top of the wall entirely.
Maybe they might use a clear resin or something so it's level, but you can view it. 🤔
I have been on there and the areas we could look at were level and didn’t require any more filling in
Come on lads think outside the box. The waterway is purely decorative, so why not make it special? Could be tiled with Everton crests. So next time I go on holiday for a romantic walk around the swimming pool with my wife, she might say you john it would be lovely if they filled the pool with slimy green brackish water don't you think?
Still no news on what will be done to the old gas tower site. Do you know anything?
Why expand the emptyhad😅
so clowns like you can comment with envy
Have a look at your empty stadium.
@@City_Blue_2024 74000 ever game aye it’s empty🤡😂
Very good CP. Are you going anywhere nice? Anyway, enjoy your break.
Thanks , we are off to Egypt
@@cp-overview Nice!
I’m surprised at how much there is to do in such a short time when it’s getting handed over to Everton. I’m glad you mentioned they are going to paint the roof dark grey as no one has mentioned it thus far.
Hi, Lee. I know you're a regular commentator, so it's the only reason I make this point. I'm not having a pop but if you ever read the comments and questions other subscribers ask, then you will have known this answer from about 6 months ago. It must be in the top 10 of the most time-sustained questions most frequently answered by myself and 'Dunctheblue'. I'm pretty sure that the topic has been covered by Colin before, too, as a response to one of my PoI's, which I guess you've missed. I know that relatively few people take the time or trouble to read others' comments and there's certainly no obligation or expectation for anyone to do so but you can learn a lot from them. The body of other subscribers tend to have better knowledge, experience and insight than the droners. So, just to reemphasise, it's expected that the concrete rooves will be painted a dark-grey screed so that it 'blends' with the Mansard Roof and the paneling affixed to the bottom outsides of the terrace bowl. You CAN see that it has already been applied under the barrel-roof on the West Stand as that was actually done before the barrel-cladding was installed. You can also see that it has been done in the Plant Area on the NW corner, segregated by the dark-grey paneling fascia, under the platform holding the AC units and in front of the back doors to the TV Studio. Best wishes and have a good day.
Great video as always Colin. Do you know if the carpark will be paved?(im guessing it's what's stored in the middle)If so what colour stone will they be going with? 5:07 what are they doing with the section of seating in the lower tier of the SW stand to the right of the entrance/exit tunnel? 6:49 you can see a couple of numbers above the turnstyles just to the right of the Club shop entrance. The paving by between the East stand and hydrolic tower is really coming along at the moment. 9:16 as this is the area for bikes, what are the other racks for at 9:29 ? Also at 10:34 you can see more of the numbers abobe the turnstyles on the East stand. Will the cladding on both ends of the viewing gallery on the South stand be the same as the barrell cladding? Have a great well deserved holiday.
That cladding will be similar but without the holes, more a solid aluminium look.
@@DarrenCowzer-cx7ot thanks
1) I don't know for sure but if the diagrams hold true in the plans then I think the car park will be resin-bound gravel surfaces between the granite setts laid for the walkways but it could also be gravel-topped asphalt. In theory, a natural beige-brown stone colour, either way. 2) I think it's one of these logistical-based, practical issues that we have seen from time-to-time. I think it's just temporary as the seats are still nearby stacked in the neighbouring rows. What the cause is, pass. It's not where any planned subsidiary TV Camera Plinths were intended to be, anyway. 3) I can't see them on my big screens. I get it that you will have seen them elsewhere and know exactly where they are and exactly what they look like but to those of us that haven't yet seen them close-at-hand, they're not readily seen in this video. 4) Yes, they're progressing well with the granite setts laying at the NW corner of the East Plaza. 5) The 'other' stands are also for bikes, of all forms. They're just not stacked or covered, so likely to be used by those visiting the site for less time or as overflow if everyone aims to use the covered 2-tiered stand. there are 8 more of these located out at the southern end of the West Quay, just north of the west access to the southern Isolation Bridge. 6) Again, if you say so. I accept they are there. 7) No, the cladding on the ends of the viewing gallery will be the same material, anodised aluminium, but it won't have perforations and it will be in smaller sections. It does mean it should act as interesting sections of convex mirror to those walking along the South Concourse.
What will happen with the dug outs? There seem to be 15 seats missing.
Couldn't afford the rest
@@rosse6705 😂😆🤣
Jurgen: it's a really good question. In both dugouts you will note that there is a form of extended platform in the back row. In images and diagrams in the plans, it looks like some form of white surfaced front wall and roof cover, over three seats, that is due to be installed there. I have researched and browsed and found nothing to suggest what they are to be nor can my limited imagination come up with a conclusive answer, other than it's to screen sight of 3 people with legs in straight plasters and crutches, 😉?
@@davidbadcock2225 something like that Yeah . Thank you David 🤣👍
@@jurgenvoogt1638 When I awoke this AM another thought hit me. Maybe the platform is for a desk with monitors for the staff to do video analysis, which is why the desk will be screened/covered off to avoid the spotlight glare.
Does anyone know if all seats in stadium will be dry and have roof covering even ones at pitch side?
Some seats will inevitably get wet when we're two up with ten minutes to go !
