Just keep that Terrace behind the goal for the reall fans if ya don't then they have contempt for you, of course most clubs wanna charge more, by all means build a few new stands but just keep ta Terrace for atmosphere n cost simple really

the light coloured sections on the hotel are where the lift platform vertical sections are connected to the building.

I think I am right in saying that when the South Stand was done, 6,000 seats were added in SL3. This expansion is supposed to add 7,900 seats. I think that implies that the seats at the back of NL3 will be set further back from the pitch than the back of the South Stand. The view from the back of EL3 (I am 6 rows from the back is brilliant) but you do feel a bit out of it atmosphere wise.

Could the scaffolding also be used to erect netting, to stop the pigeons

Thanks, Colin. So now I'm really puzzled as to the reason for the scaffolding in the NE corner: 2 'floors' of planking over the whole area. Will there be more floors yet? I think the best view to see will be from over the UU plant looking in through the glass, behind the barrel-cladding.

They've put horticultural fleece on the pitch edges to get the grass to grow. The pitch definitely won't be 100% ready for the first game.

The Bridgewater Canal is basically a ruin which people still use. It consists of one very long pound with small cranes and stop planks at intervals in case of a breach. Take a look at them and you'll think you're in an industrial junkyard, not next to a working canal. If there is a breach on a CRT canal (which the Bridgewater isn't), 1. the stop planks still work, 2. CRT is pretty quickly on the scene with manpower, and 3. you have the benefit of short, or relatively short pounds between locks, which limits considerably the amount of water flow. None of that applies here and the CRT would be bonkers to take the Bridgewater on, before double figure £ millions have been invested to make it serviceable. We live in a world where it's perfectly okay for private corporations to pocket the proceeds as "return on investment" (what investment?), but their failures and their messes must be picked up by the taxpayer, we're always very kind like that.

Great video! I was wondering if you ever experienced this with Capcut. I took some footage with the Mavic Classic 3, shot in 4k/30. When I download the video and take a look at it in lets say in Windows media player or VLC player it look fantastic, when I look at in Capcut it looks all blotchy and terrible. Not all clips but it happens. Wondering why?

Great footage, Colin 👍🏻 That isn’t a dam at 3:34 - it’s where the canal bed has dropped due to the embankment breach. The northern temporary dam is at 4:58 and the southern temporary dam is at 8:19 👍🏻

I don't think it was quite as bad as this, but Platt Bridge was flooded in December 2015, there's a video on youtube showing this. I also remember heavy flooding along Bolton Road and Bryn Rd South in Ashton, can't remember the year exactly but probably around 2005-ish. People seem to have forgotten about that.

Nice one, Colin. It's wonderful light with clear BLUE sky (if only that was fully metaphorical or analogical). There are some great colours and reflections to be seen throughout but my favourite moment for an array of colours is @ 13:22 mins. Some other PoI's: 1) @1:38 mins, all that planking suggests that contractors are going to be doing a lot of 'free' walking about at that height installing 'something'. The 'something' seems likely to be lighting of some sort, based on the grey units seen on and in the palletised boxes @ 2:24 mins. Maybe TFG have decided to set up a Cannabis Farm under the barrel-cladding, 😉😆. I wonder if it's to light up the inside of the barrel-cladding, after all, which would be a change in plans, or maybe illuminated signage projected onto the ENE concrete roof? I don't know the answer so I'm just guessing, based on lighting assumptions. 2) @ 5:18 mins, good insider information on The Everton Way with the second email. 20th January to end of July maybe, then. I get it. 3) @ 6:47-7:31 mins, suggests that all the Everton Way materials traffic will be using the Nelson Dock Quays and SW site entrance. 4) @ 9:00 mins, what is the hut-like structure that's appeared with its own barriered area, north of the southern blue-glazed two-tiered bench, I wonder? 5) @ 9:40 mins, as the box is made with a clear-material face, facing due eastwards and in the shadow of a setting-sun, with a device inside, I am wondering if it's a natural light-detector that will control when the barrel-cladding lights are automatically switched off in the morning? Maybe we should look for signs of one appearing on the west side too, if a correct guess. 6) @ 10:19 mins, the pitted and uneven nature of the surface of the roof, suggests to me that the final layer will indeed be a dark-grey screed rather than just a layer of paint. 7) @ 11:36 mins, it's going to annoy me that the westernmost Columnar Elm (the line of 13 trees nearest the north perimeter) and the westernmost of the group of 5 trees between the Pump House and the stadium are planted leaning eastward even before any winds can have had a chance to affect them. 8) @ 11:52 mins, I reckon you've got an exclusive. You've spotted the temporary storage of the blue plastic seats that will be installed on the plaza concrete benches in due course. Exclusive! 9) @ 13:28 mins, there are 7/8 picnic benches behind the row of trees. 10) @ 13:32 mins, the old cobble 'setts' colours come to life in the wet and low sun.

All these homes now with gorgeous riverside views, and the odd Turd floating past the window.

Brilliant ambitious club i support Wolves i just wish we had owners who would show the same kind of ambition but as of yet nothing they are just happy with mediocracy sadly and wed all know where that ends up in the end relegation it is not a new model it as failed many clubs over the years they have been there many years now promises were made about the stadium and they have not laid a brick to be fair to them .
