Building Snowboards before it was called Snowboarding.
Episode three concludes the story of Winterstick in the 80′s, and how a new generation of board shapers carry on with what Winterstick started, surfing on powder.
Snow Craft is TransWorld’s original video series, created by Lukas and Jesse Huffman, celebrating grassroots board builders past and present. The new series, Snow Craft Generations, looks at the triumphs and failures of Dimitrije Milovich from Winterstick, and Pete Saari and Mike Olson from Mervin Manufacturing, as well as some up and coming board shapers. It’s a must watch for anyone who calls themselves a snowboarder.

been interesting how alternative shapes, some of them quite "retro" are now coming out. many new swallowtail shapes coming out, and also boards with more "vintage" style bindings. as the industry grows, it is getting back to it's roots. winterstick rocks! shout out to tom burt for resurrecting the Winterstick brand!

Not sure why one would want to ride a modern board less versatile and less performant than what Dimitrije made then....
Just look at performance swallowtails from guys like swellpanik and phenix snowboards..they work in powder, they work in crud, they work on icy mountains: they are versatile.
those new fancy hipster shapes might look cool and market themselves good, but they are soooo limited....If they were that hot, people riding mountains would use them ( aka: La Grave for example where they are yet to be seen..)
