When I was 9 years old, we went to an alpine coaster on Mount Wachusett in Massachusetts. It was a concrete bobsled run. You sat in a plastic cart just like these. The handle was the break. They'll attack if they feel threatened or to defend their food or if startled. But they're not going to chase after someone on a pipe coaster. Now, if the bear is sleeping or lounging on the track and you run into it, you're toast. Mountain bikers have been killed when they run right into a bear and the bear panicks. But mostly bears run away from people. You're much more likely to be killed because the coaster goes off the rail at speed than by a bear.
With my luck, a big ass grizzly bear would pop out from the trees and maul me. Because in certain sections, it does not look like you can outrun one if it comes after you lol

The tube has a "fin" on the topside. There are guides on the sled that straddle the fin and keep it upright.
