- 012724 - We've been seeing "Paradise Road Show" all over our newsfeeds and in conversation for years but never actually attended. We decided to wing it last minute and ride out to Palm Springs to check it out for ourselves to see what the hype was all about. When we got to the main gate and realized it was $50 to spectate, we were ready to go home. We're not hating on the event, we're just broke boys. Luckily that was not what happened. Thank you to the person who chose to remain anonymous that had two extra passes and offered to buy another for us to all get in. For those of you who've never been, well here's your ticket! 17:03 -- A Mid-1960s period-perfect 900 cc Sportster chop. Very much like a bike from a b/w Bill Ray photo of an H.A. Sporty. 51:59 - Best-looking Shovel at this event (my opinion). That bike was built around an Edlund frame. I think those frames are made in Sweden. Dig those shotgun headers and Paughco slash-cut mufflers. The narrowed 41 mm forks are just right. Those turned down and chromed lower sliders were modified to accept a "hamburger" hub/brake setup. The paint is amazing too. Great coverage of this great event. Thanks, Unaffiliated.

Road story: I was on a night ride, just chilling, then suddenly I realized there was a full size semi trailer tire in my way, and there wasn't anywhere to go except over the tire. So I held on to the bars for dear life and took the tire, but despite my absolute terror I rode over it with just a bump. Well I laughed at myself and kept on riding. 😂 love your vids

I'm glad to see you out and enjoying the mild weather. It's been an unusually warm winter here in WV as well. I'm not complaining that's for sure. Along with the pleasure of being able to go for rides more often, I've been restoring another very much neglected Convert. It's challenged my mind and my patience, but it's running well again. Still work to do, but I'm grateful to have had it to occupy my winter season.

Honda 750four. 750 cc. Four cylinder. Common knowledge
We figured! But we thought since all 750’s were four cylinder it was redundant to add a four on the name. Especially when we’ve seen 750’s that didn’t have the “four” on the end. But that makes sense haha thanks for the insight!
Did I hear you say on the Honda what ever the four stands for 😆 four carbs four exhausts four cylinders,it came out when bikes like triumph were around with only twin cylinders,it killed the British bike manufacturers, history boy history

Fake patina. I think it comes back to how you feel when riding. Like the way loud pipes or a long front end makes us feel, cool, bad ass, or nostalgic. I am guessing fake patina does the same for them. After all don't we all like to pretend a little when we ride.

Triumphs in the 50's also had suspension of a sort in the rear hub and that red bike with the weird tank your favourite is an Ariel square four (British) I'm more knowledgeable then you because I'm 60

Road stories usually don’t wear a helmet one of those times I did had full face on with no face shield caught a honey bee in my helmet at 70 mph he exploded inside by my ear I pulled over reemoved helmet the bee was Gensued only the bottom of him was left and pulsating and the stinger was searching for a target I was so lucky did have the same helmet destroyed by a rock off big dump truck at +55 saw it coming was able to turn my head otherwise it was destined for my face been lucky sooo many times
