    Hi. Once again a pleasantly engaging video. The snow you showed on Ben Lomond did not last long by the looks of things. The weather did look quite pleasant for a walk. Just come down from a small but very windy walk in the Lakes. Watched your video over coffee as we returned to base. Thanks for showing this. Have a great week.

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Ivor. Yeah where has all the snow gone! It was cold at the top though but unseasonably mild back at the car. If you seen I had my axe and crampons expecting a long icy ascent but all we got was some very small snow patches and brilliant sunshine. Do you stay in the lakes? An area I would love to explore. Thanks again and hopefully catch you the next time. On Sunday this week we are heading to the rest and be thankful to climb a small Corbett. Cheers Paul

I’ll need to give myself a kick up the arse concerning the drone. Did it again last fri, hills looked dodgy at summits with a 30% chance of. Cloud free Munro. How difficult is the hike? I’m wanting to go with a group of people, but it would be good to know the difficulty level beforehand. Just for difficulty comparison, I’ve done Ben Venue in 2020 and Ben Lomond in 2015. So I haven’t been to hiking in a while - although I did do Ben A’an last year.

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Benjamin, this hill in good weather conditions is not technically difficult. You can almost see the top from the car. I would say that it is easier than Ben Venue and route finding is very straightforward. I would recommend going with others and don’t be afraid to turn back if you are uncomfortable. Also keep an eye on the conditions as that will make all the difference! Did you get to Corrie Fee?

    • @Benjamin-sq9co

      @@PAADVENTURES1 Hey man, thanks for the feedback. But how would you compared it to Ben Lomond or The Cobbler. My group is trying to choose between this three, but they want to tackle the easier of the three first.

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Benjamin-sq9co For me personally all three are equally simple. I would say Ben Lomond first, Ben Vorlich second and the cobbler last. Not knowing your groups ability please ensure you are comfortable tackling any of these hills! Check out the walk highlands site for more info! Paul.

      @@PAADVENTURES1 The majority of the people in the group have done Ben Venue before. Since you say it's slightly easier than Ben Venue, I think it will be a good Munro (Ben Vorlich) for them to climb. I don't think they could take the climb to the summit of The Cobbler hahha
