I watched different thailand vlog experience from foreign vloggers and i can see that the cost of accomodation like in an apartment or condo living in a whole month is actually much better than here in the Philippines and its way more cheaper.
All in all the cost of living in Thailand is really reasonable in its price.
I think you're still new to Thailand but roasted pork 5 Baht/stick is still around at many vendors and markets.Food price range from 5-10-20-25-30-35-40-45-50-60 depend on markets and locations .Even at Sukumvit area food prices are wide range between 30-50 baht some sell at 25 baht boxes of rice or as low as 20 baht/box.Just one and you're full.
The more you live here you'll find lot of quality cheap street foods to help you save money. Enjoy living here...from a Thai.

Thanks for this helpful and informative vlog lalo na sa mga nagplaplanong mag migrate sa Thailand. Request ko sana bka you make a vlog kung kelan yung mga ok na month to go to Thailand para sa katulad ko plano mag tour dyan sa Thailand and how much yung decent budget na kailangan pag nag tour ng Thailand yung tipong maenjoy mo na hindi ka tipid or hindi over spending.

In Thailand, many schools still need English teachers. Pinoy English teachers can earn 30-50k peso here. The cost of living depends on your lifestyle. Studio partments start from 3,500 THB/month can look very nice with balcony. A dish of meal starts from 40 THB. Grocery and ingredients are also cheap if you wanna cook.
I agree. Panturista ang presyo ng tuktuk. Isipin mong from Ateneo tapos pupunta ka lang ng UPTownCenter, 350pesos na.
I tried their BTS din going to Siam Paragon, masaya naman ang experience. Kaso, people were always warning me na mag-ingat. Mas kinabahan tuloy ako. Okay din taxi pero the best ang Grab car pa rin. Kung di ako nagkakamali, from Eastin (in Bangkok) to the King's Palace/Emerald Buddha wala pang 500 pesos to think na ang layo and traffic pa.

Ang galing ng content mo. Ang isa sa kagandahan dito sa Thailand is yung mga prices ng mga hotel nla kc merong tg300 baht ang ganda na ng room. Sa atin kc sa Pinas di ka makahanap ng300 na hotel room.

Mahal sa Bangkok. Nag stay kami sa Khaosan that time. Tourist area kc pero affordable naman ung food. Kc sa kalye kami kumakain. Mas masaya kc daming tao at masarap ung food. Kung gusto mo mas mura, dapat sa mga probinsya. Sa Chachoengsao, ung coffee 10 baht pero sa Bangkok nasa 25 baht. Mas mura pa sa Kanchanaburi province. Wag lang dun sa may bandang tourist area ha. Sarap bumalik ng Thailand. Nakaka miss ung authentic na Thai food. Sarap pa ng street food nila lalo na ung rice nila. Ang puti-puti. Maliban lang sa mga insekto at gagamba na tinitinda nila sa kalye ha. Lol. 😂😂😂😂
Napunta ako sa Bkk mga 2009 pa. Nasubukan ko lang mag BTS, ginhawa naman. Gusto ko yung lalabas lang ako sa tinuluyan ko tapos naka tsinelas lang ako at t-shirt, tapos kakain sa carinderia, walang paki sa hitsura kahit mukhang nakapambahay haha. Tapos lalakad lang ako sa tabing soi e ang dami nang paninda. Bumili ako ng pad krapao, saka hakaw na dumpling. Nagulat ako, hakaw naging street food??? samantalang sa Pinas mabibili mo lang yun sa restaurant. Pero ganoin nga kaaccessible ang masarap na pagkain. Saka ang sarap kahit mura lang. Tapos may iilan akong nakikitang nakapuruntong, yung shorts na hanggang tuhod, mapa-lalaki o babae nagsusuot. Tapos Chatujak market talaga nakakalula, ang daming makikita. Mura talaga ang t-shirt sa Thailand lalo na maraming local manufacters kaya bagsakan talaga ng damit diyan. Yung 7-11 gustong gusto ko mga pagkain diyan sa chiller nila, yung mga rice meals, kasi kakaiba pero abot kaya naman ang presyo. Hay naku, namimiss ko talaga ang Bangkok. Sa Silom ako tumuloy noon at nagkataong holiday dahil birthday ng hari, kaya walang katrapik-trapik hahaha.

i visited TH 7x and mura talaga halos lahat. Food & hotels i stayed in (incl airbnb) generally mura.. mas mahal lang talaga ang BTS kumpara sa MRT ng pinas. though mas mura na yun kesa magtaxi. :) ok din magGrabBike as mode of transpo (wala sa Pinas ang GrabBike eh).

Although di gaano ka taas yung rate pero yung cost ng foodie sa Thailand ay sulit na sulit parin ...

@@HansManikan Ok naman kaso di ko pa nakamtan yung katulad ng sitwasyon mo. Bali on the process pa rin ako sa ngayon. Habang naghahanap ng work, nag aaral pa ako ng Japanese Language which means it takes time talaga. Katulad din jan lahat talaga dumadaan sa proseso. Jan ka nlng muna kc dto sa Japan mejo mahigpit pa at saka napakamahal ng cost of expenses maliban lang na nakaipon ako kahit konti pero ginagamit din sya for emergency muna lalo na sa ngayon pandemic. Ingat po kayo palagi. New subscriber here at parang gusto ko na rin mag explore ng Thai at ang isa sa natikman kong Thai Food ay ang Green Curry (ano kaya tawag jan in Thai?), sana ikaw ang maging tulay para sa Thailand 🙂

15,000 baht basic start salary for bachalor degree .English teacher tend to received more start at 18,000-30,000 and higher depend on experience and cerfitigate /school or international school.
12,000 baht start for less than bachalor degree.
300 baht /day for labour uneducated no skilled job such as plate/bowl washer and higher for professional jobs.
400-450-500/day for skilled jobs such as carpenters.

I don’t want to go to Thailand and see a Jollibee. A Filipino guy helped me find an apartment. He hates Filipinos. I can understand why. (I spent 3 dollars per night on hotels. But I promise that Filipino guy that I don’t tell them where I get to stay. Food is like a dollar per meal). And i really love those water refilling stations that charge 1 baht per liter. Also laundry, you just insert a coin.

Hansel Manikan What’s the name of that street near Khaosarn Road that has a Svenson or Swenson (Ice Cream House)... Its near some intersection... there is a 7-11 facing the Svenson Ice Cream. That place has a Food cart selling (Chicken Masala, Garlic Chicken...) It also has a fruit juice stand selling Pomagranade juice. I miss that Garlic Chicken.

Alam mo nasa diskarte yan @tokmol hype. Kaso pag nag tthailand kami, sa nga dorm type na hostels kami ng friends ko since tulugan liguan lang naman namin. Near hua lamphong kami usually kahit medj old bangkok city na sya. Then sa food, must try sa carinderias nila. Kung hindi ka naman maselan. Mahilig din sila sa omelettes. Tapos ung mga streetfood nila is laman tyan. Panalo. Fave ko don is ung sausage sa 7 eleven CP foods then iinitin and may kasamang sweet chili sauce. Makakabili ka rin sa tusoktusok sa daan. Then try nyo rin mga night markets. Super dami pagpipiliian if tourists then may bilihan din ng pasalubong.
Mas mura sa 2AM Market near Chinatown if medyo madami ka naman bibilhan. Parang bagsakan kasi sya. Pero if di mo kaya magpuyat may No Sleep cafe hahahaha. Pero sa chatuchak okay din. Basta tumawad ka. Hehe
Sa transpo naman, masaya din mag train. Pero if apat kayo, kahit bawal ang grab, nag ggrab kami since ung fare per tao pag sa grab is lower kesa pag magtrain kami. Pero planuhin mo din. Minsan tuktuk lang din kami lalo na medj alam na namin presyuhan di nila kami mataasan.
Bago palang ako dito sa Bangkok. Day 2 Naka quarantine. paglabas ko feeling ko kelangan ko mag workout hehe. any advice po san maganda na gym? salamat!
