❤🧶 Beautiful pattern. Love the way you've explained the tutorial and to be being able to use different yarns and hooks. Thank you for this 'cause it's hard for my 72 yr old brain to understand. Stay safe 🙏🏻 ❤ 🧶🧶
Thank you for your kind words Lynn! We all get that brain fog every now and then. I’m right there with you!😊❤️

Very beautiful shawl. I am fairly new to crochet but I think with your clear instructions and a bit of practice that I can do this. TFS
What a beautiful lacy shawl! I love working triangle shawls, especially ones that are easily adjustable in size. And I love how you make ornate patterns so easy for us to make. Thank you for sharing your gift.
I love doing this Rosemary! Thank you!
Hello Bonnie, what a wonder

Thank you Laura Ann! 😊❤️
I love all what you do. I nearly did crochet everything you did in the channel... now i am about to finish the wheatfield capelet...
Wow! That's great R. Alostaz!
I am going to add this to my list. Thank you.
What a great pattern. I love all these stitches. Will have to add this to my to do list which is growing out of hand lol.
Ha ha! I understand that one Mary!
I’ve almost finished crocheting my first liberty shawl and I’m already planning my next colour! I don’t usually crochet I’m more of a knitter but this pattern was a delight! I didn’t think I’d complete it but your clear concise tutorial made it a breeze. To complicate things I was taught English crocheting but it didn’t even matter. I feel I could now tackle US terms and am planning to extend my work further. Big thank you for your time and effort ❤️❤️❤️
That’s wonderful Wally!😊❤️❤️❤️
This is a beautiful shawl. I especially love the self striping yarn shawl. Can you tell me more about this yarn, such as brand, size and color and yardage used. Thanks so much.
Magnifique
You come up with the most gorgeous patterns and samples to show us...I have hanks of yarn but I am terrible at making them into a ball without them getting all knotted and twisted up 🙈 anyway I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your designs and your channel 🙂
Have a GREAT Day!!!
Have you tried using a ball winder and yarn swift? I know that these tools are an investment, but I love mine and use them a lot! You can always request that the yarn store wind the yarn for you. Many provide that as a courtesy to their customers. Thanks so very much for your kind support!
This shawl is beautiful! I like the simplicity with 4 row repeat, and that you can make it as wide and long as you like.
I’m planning to make this with Cotton Kings Color Bomb which I’ve had since 2018 waiting for the right pattern. It will be similar in color to your first shawl.
On blocking, I wish you had shown the blocked edging. That’s the only part that leaves me wondering. Perhaps in future videos you could demonstrate how to block Lacey edgings or the body of your a shawl.
Thanks! And Blessings🥰
They are quite easy Sheila. Simply dampen then spread the lace the way you want it to dry. Pin in place to mat, being careful to pin the outer points, and let dry completely.
@@BonnieBayCrochet Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous. ♥️When you crochet mohair, how do you choose the number of the hook ? (+1, +2... ?)
precioso
Hi Bonnie, where can I get the written pattern for the! Lierty shawl, it looks so nice and want to make it. I'm new to crochet but I did your Abigail shawl and came out really nice.
Here you go Ginette! These are usually in the video description. www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/the-liberty-shawl-crochet-pattern-by-bonnie-barker
@@BonnieBayCrochet Hello Bonnie, thank you for the information, it's going to be my next project and I love the tutorial very helpful 😀 😊 ☺
Can you adapt that to a blanket ?
I have not done this yet but you can certainly try!😊
How much yarn will I need using Comfy Cotton Blend- DK weight & a 5 or 6 mm hook
Bonnie, these shawls are beautiful. I have a question for you. Why do you start each row with a ch-4 instead of a ch-3?
I know I said I had one question, but I just thought of another. 🙂 On the lace edging, why did you put a picot on the first dc but not on the last of each group of dc w/picots? Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials. ❤
@@msmikkic9738 The chain four is a personal preference and automatic default. I know many prefer the magic circle instead and you are free to do that as well. I don't put a picot in the last dc because it would be bunched together with the connecting point looking more cluttered instead of cleanly visible.
Great questions! I so appreciate that MsMikkiC!
How many repeats did you do? Thank you
I worked 52 rows for the original design, plus the lace.
@@BonnieBayCrochet , thanks for responding. I am on my lace now 😊
🥰🥰
Πολύ ωραίο
