Just completed my first 17 rows 😊😊😊. Using a pure white yarn with a silver thread. Your instructions, attention to detail & reassurances are just wonderful. Thank you Bonnie.
I would love to see that when you are finished Babs 59! I bet that looks lovely! So glad you are able to understand this design. It can be a bit tricky!
This is a beautiful pattern for a shawl. I have not been watching because your video said left-handed. I am right-handed. I really loved the look of this, so I did watch today. You crocheted right-handed even though heading said left. I guess I will not skip watching from now on.
I usually upload both a right and a left-handed video for each design Beverly. If you don't see the one you need, just click on the circle photo for my channel and that should take you to my home page where you can find it.
I think I will start with this one. I want to start making shawls and the like. I will be back when I can manage the time. Thank you for offering this.
Wowzers this shawl is absolutely gorgeous. Tysm for sharing with us. I think I am up for the challenge. I enjoy using different stitches. I get bored when it's too easy lol. ❤💯💥🙏
Very beautiful! I will have to make this. Your instructions are so clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. BTW, I love your nail polish 1😊
Just finishing the Wheatfield Capelet and was wondering what to do with some silk blend sock-weight yarn that's gorgeous. THANK YOU, Bonnie! This shawl is my next project! My daughter -- who professes to be a "non-girly girl" -- gave birth to twin daughters in November. Suddenly, she's embraced feminine apparel. I'm thinking this will be a perfect Mother's Day gift for her.
@@BonnieBayCrochet You're such a talented and lovely lady 💜 Thank you for your patience, kindness and, above all, for sharing with us your art 💜🤗 PS- you should consider a storyteller career with that calm& warm voice of yours 😏😊
@@OttoluzzVonBismark I would love that! I have spent more than 25 years teaching children at our church, plus 19 home schooling my 5 children. I never tire of stories.
I loved this pattern and wondered what it would look like as a baby blanket. After some trial and error and starting over a few times it made an absolutely gorgeous blanket. I used Lion brand Mandala in the color Meowth. It's a #3 weight yarn. Showed it to my daughter who is 3 months pregnant with my second grandchild and she loves it. Thank you for the inspiration. I still plan on making the shawl but my mind is currently fixed on baby blankets for obvious reasons. 💖

You confused me with corner on 13th row. You have dc, ch1, dc. Then you say to finish row 13. But then you explained the corner as 1dc ch2 1dc. So I'm confused with this ?? Can you verify when you can. Thank you.
This can be worn in any season. I love wearing mine in the winter, and it also makes a nice layer in the summer time when the inside AC temps seem too cool.

This is beautiful. Can it be made into a blanket
I'm sure it can somehow, but I don't have the numbers available on how exactly to do that.
Hi! I have a question and I hope you can answer
Bonny can I make it as a straight shawl, if so could you pl help me understand how to go about it. Thanks
That would probably take another video Jean.
I was thinking of using this pattern as a bandana instead of a shawl. I'm looking for advice or an idea on how to include ties so it can be secured to the head. Any help is appreciated ❤
You can add chains with slip sts worked into the chains for a strong tie. I would work this across the long side of the triangle.
This is so beautiful thank you for showing us how to make this lovely shawl. I have a question about blocking. Do you have to block every single time after you wash your (any/all) projects or just for the first time? 💕
Great question. May be wise to block after washing also Debz. That said, I don't wash these often since they are outer garments.
@@BonnieBayCrochet Okay thank you so much for your response. I sure do appreciate it. Have a great day!🌷
I MUST be tired.
I (intally thought) it said "Prison shawl"

Ha ha! I understand that. The name is all too close!😂😂😂
I'm struggling on row 11 😔 I can't see where I went wrong in row 10 but I must have but I'm not giving up even if I have to frog all my hard work 😔😔

Can I use mohair yarn in this design
Yes, you can use any yarn of your choice.
Bonnie your crochet needle seems longer ,where do you purchase it
I've purchased mine at my local Joanne Fabrics store. Once in a while I've seen these in Michael's.
You confused me with corner on 13th row. You have dc, ch1, dc. Then you say to finish row 13. But then you explained the corner as 1dc ch2 1dc. So I'm confused with this ?? Can you verify when you can. Thank you.
The corner always has a chain 2.
Is this a winter design
This can be worn in any season. I love wearing mine in the winter, and it also makes a nice layer in the summer time when the inside AC temps seem too cool.
Where can I get a copy of the pattern?
