This lovely. It is very yarn thirsty and even though I should have had sufficient yarn, I had to make the band around three sides using two rows. I also had to shorten the back panel and only had enough to crochet 3 pineapples on each side and not enough for pockets. I did rib to the size on the front and added button holes. Despite this, I have a lovely garment. Thank you.

Nice -I haven’t been doing the braided cable yet much so this is nice ! I sent my mom the lisdoonvarna one and made a slotted closer and added one pocket on the underneath portion - she loved it and now I can try this one for my sister’s gift 🤓💜.Thank you !!

I don't need them but I did it just to see. I will try later for you. By the way I love the pineapple stitches at the bottom of the shawl. I have so many projects in line I better not start another. The only vest that I have personally designed is in my book Contemporary Celtic Crochet, but does not include all of these stitches Jen.
