Yea, the riddles idea sounds really good. The trophy collection was ok for the other games, but there's been countless games where you just collect items from your map. It's about as thrilling as going to the grocery store and crossing things off your list :P

The Unusual Suspect To be fair in my review of City I praised the Riddler trophies and riddle's. I thought there were too many of them but it was a really positive step to actually have puzzles to solve as opposed to just picking up litter. Most even came with some nice art-work or bonus levels. Bonus levels in-stead of DLC guys, can you believe it!
P.S. Have you managed to get over roadblock for your next review? Few ideas for the first bit if it will help. Jokes on bad dubbing for Trade federation dudes, maybe a Flash Gordon reference. And I'm sure there is a Monty Python sketch that's earily familiar to the Jedi's introductions.

That underground boss race against the Arkham Knight was absolutely frustrating! I could never beat it!
Try changing the Batmobile camera, I found making so you only see what I front of the Batmobile make a lot of driving sections easier because obviously I can now focus on the road

I don't know what Rocksteady were smoking, when they thought that the only way to get the full ending for Arkham Knight is 100% the entire freaking game. Like what the fuck? The previous Arkham games didn't do it, so why Akrham Knight needed to do it?
Because they wanted to end the series and they figured since it's ending what's gonna stop us

Y'know what? Your idea for the Riddler was extremely clever! I would have loved some variety in this game with Nigma, but instead we get trophies, trophies, and more trophies.
I love the Riddler trophies, there are fun and the only time where you actually feel like a detective but your suggestion feels pure genius. That idea is actually much better.

Great review, Suspect. What did you find the most disappointing thing with this game. For me, it had to be the boss battles. (spoiler alert people).
They get us all worked up be introducing Arkham Knight and Deathstroke and think we're going to fight them hand to hand and what do we get? Shooting them with the batmobile and then running each time you fire a shot.
The morality idea is amazing! What if they made an inFAMOUS like Batman game? For example, the more heroic you get, the lighter the suit gets. like, if you're all the way Heroic your suit would be like the one from Batman and Robin without nipples. If you're all the way menace/evil it'd be the Batman Returns suit.
My reaction to this 'character' was "whoa hold on I killed your arse in the previous game"

Ha that was a good riddle I even paused the video and spent eight minutes trying to figure it out but that was a great riddle it sounded like the kind I would hear coming out of Jim Carey's Riddler oh also that Manbat scene was hilarious when Manbat shows up and Jim Carey from Liar Liar yells "Holy Hell" and runs away while smashing through the door that was funny as Hell keep up all the good work for your videos I'll always be a supporting subscriber. I think the idea of having batman solving riddles to find riddler trophies is a great idea but we should have more then 10. They should be like the enigma machines in arkham city

The usual suspect this video is a masterpiece. I agree with many of your points especially the moral system is intriguing. (For those who have not played Arkham Knight stop reading now because I'm about to reveal a massive spoiler). I loved that Mark Hamill came back and voiced the Joker and seeing him do a certain killing joke secne was chilling. The only thing that I wished could of happened was some back and forth dialogue between Batman and Joker. It felt like a wasted opportunity to really dwell more into the charecters psychologys and I could listen to Kevin and Mark for the rest of my life. As for the Arkham Knight identity (spoiler) I didn't catch on to the identity but I agree completely that it should of been someone else such as Damian Wayne rather then Jason Todd. Some of the side missions were a bit of a let down such Hush not being a boss fight and especially Deathstroke. However I love how Joker stole much of the show, John Nobel as Scarecrow and the final mental battle between Joker and Batman was memorable. I personally think Scarecrows final cutscene worked well as Scarecrow is not much of a fighter. My biggest problem with the last game is why on earth could Paul Dini not come back for the last act? I noticed that some of the dialogue while good most of the time sounded a little too cliche at times. With Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in the game (seriously how in the universe did they keep Mark's role a secret?!) it would seem critical to have him in the writing chair working with Rocksteady writers on the script. I know Dini explained his reasons in an interview, but he should of been included. The Usual Suspect I cannot tell you how much fun this video was. It's a real treat. P.S do you know when your episode 2 of Star Wars will be out? Really ecstatic for it. 😎
I think the Infamous-route in am actual lived in gotham city could be a real stepup and evolution to the arkham games. You could either be the more careful detective (or even just be Bruce Wayne spending money for high level security and preserving his image) or the brutal Frank Miller Batman or something in between.

Hi Suspect, I remember you said in this video that you wanted fan feedback on your views for the "riddle"-based aspect of the fourth Arkham Knight game, so here goes: yes, I totally agree. I think it would be much better for the riddles in the game to actually be...RIDDLES! It would be cool, because if there were genuine, bona fide riddles in the game, they would add that extra intuitive dimension which the game sorely needs, as, like you said, the game has SO many mindless, repetitive stages.

I pre-ordered the AK game on pc because I'm a noob, but I still didn't have too much of a bad experience, all I noticed was 1 bug that was easily fixed by reloading the game, and it played at 45 fps through most of the more processor demanding sequences.
However, Riddler. Is. BORING. his character is perfect actually, but I agree completely, the 243 riddles to 100% the game is too damn tedious just to see a slightly extended ending.

I don't think there's a version of the Riddler out there that hasn't used puzzles and deathtraps in the past, I really don't see what the problem is there (OK, yes I do there are a f*ck ton of the bloody things and they become a chore to collect, but they did in Arkham City too)
As for the Bat-tank, I agree that it's overly repetitive and those Cobra Tanks can go straight to the depths of hell. I do like how they suggest that it's the influence of that lead to the batmobile being weaponised (and honestly the fact is there's a certain expectation that comes with a comic book franchise, having Batman choose to kill would be an incredible mistake, so I think the evacuation was a necessary evil, and at least the excuse wasn't just bullsh*t like origins was, speaking of I don't think the military would get heavily involved because scarecrow implied that he had a chemical weapon, if the Dark Knight Rises is anything to go by (and let's be honest, there are Nolan influences in these games) that would be enough)
As for the lack of boss battles one thing worth bearing in mind is unlike some superheroes most of Batman's rogues are ordinary people, having them stronger than their goons to me sort of takes away from that. I'll admit, I didn't care for the boss battles in the game.
For the record (as someone who did buy the season pass) a matter of family is a decent story with a smaller open world (with not very much to do in it) for Batgirl to explore but it is a tad short and some of the music is a little off to me.

If you've ever played *The Dark Knight Rises* on mobile devices, it's kinda like an Arkham game for mobile. And you know it's sad when Gotham on mobile feels more lively than Gotham on next-gen consoles.

They had riddles back in Arkham Asylum and City
I would love to see Rocksteady make a Superman game. But I fear that since Superman is so freaked Over-Powered, they may end up being forced to nerf the character so they could make the game a challenge, instead of feeling like playing on Creative mode in Minecraft.

The lack of bosses also kinda pissed me off. Some of the bosses even included the tank bosses (Arkham Knight and Deathstroke). I mean ESPECIALLY Deathstroke is where the boss is underwhelming ROYALLY. Deathstroke is one of several physical challenges for Batman. Deathstroke should've jumped out his tank and battled Batman one-on-one - like in Arkham Origins.
Same goes for Jason Todd/Arkham Knight. All Batman does is stealth away from his sniper rifle and take down some goons... when we could've had an emotional fight between Jason and Batman. Jason represents one of Batman's biggest failures - he continually blames Batman for letting him die and for letting the Joker kidnap him.
Overall, despite Arkham Origins being the worst of the Arkham series, Arkham Origins has a variety of boss battles - something Arkham Knight lacks.

However I don’t totally agree with what you said about origins because it wasn’t exactly the same because the boss battles were amazing and the best in the series also Batman is a younger and angrier Batman that we don’t see in asylum,city, and Night

Suspect I think your right about the riddler's riddle
I liked your ideas but I just wanted to mention that there are 2 endings you get the first after nabbing like 3 guys after finishing the story you get both after 100% I felt they handled it well and the ambiguity of the ending was pretty cool.
My current b:ak game progress- 123% out of 200% (i don’t know why the game has 200% probably because of the side missions) because I haven’t been able to beat the riddler challenge..... collect his f@#%ing trophies. Yep. I’ve completed *_EVERYTHING_* but the riddler trophies. Thanks game

I'm not joking, Arkham City is propablly the best Batman game, that has ever been made. Ever single villian was portrayed great and some parts of the game are really challenging, which I totally love. :)

Everybody says the game fell flat because of the Batmobile. I think it fell flat because they couldn't get Paul Dini back to write this game. I guess he didn't need the paycheck after Arkham City.
So, let me get this straight. You want Batman to be able to fight anyone he can in a largely populated area no matter if they're good or bad so that Batman can be determined to be a hero or a menace by the end of the game, but you have a problem with Batman having a batmobile that turns into a tank and destroys UNMANNED drones? Where's the logic in that?
Am I the only one who thinks Suspect has a better batman voice than Christian Bale

People shouldn’t complain that much about the bat mobile saying it isn’t like batman, it is and batman had an identical batmobile in the dark knight returns.

I actually love all the Riddler stuff
Just finished the main story on PC with nearly over 80% Completion and I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME... outside of a few issues:
- It does get irritating at parts when they pile on enemies on you like the game thinks you're One Punch Man (Though I might just suck arse)
- The Arkham Knight's identity was a tad predictable for as someone who watches the Animated shows/films (But how it's built up is great)
- Riddler Challenges here felt tacked on and unnecessary
- 100% the game for the ending is BS
- I would like to see some more villains return one more time (Bane for example)
- Would like to play Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman on the fly
Now my Positives:
+ The Core Gameplay improvements
+ The Gotham setting
+ Kevin Conroy returning as Batman (Will always be the number 1 Batman actor to me)
+ The story made me go 'HOLY SHIT' at points
+ I actually had no problems with the Batmobile at all
+ The story writing and character interactions are on point (I feel Batman's stubborn-ness is a bit too much but not too much for me)
+ My Steam key came with Asylum GOTY, Origins + DLC, some skins for Arkham Knight and Blackgate so I got the rest of the Arkham Games for the price of 1 game... and I had no issues with my copy of the game on Steam, consider me lucky
Final Verdict: 8.6/10 (Very close to being better than City IMO if it weren't for the problems I listed)
Also like to say that on Steam, the Season Pass is £16, but for what I payed on G2A, still not worth it IMO

what the xbox version is just as good they did a good job with both version i had little issues so rocksteady did a great job with both verisons
love the Riddler idea, but i'd rather see a hell boy game than a super man one. yes he's dark horse but i honestly don't care. he has a really vibrant world that has potential as a arkham styled game you could use gun+magic hunt demons and kill Nazi ghosts come on back me up on this

With Zero Requiem we could guess if Lelouch lived or died. But now that R3 Lelouch of the Resurrection is announced, I don't know how to feel. On one hand I'm happy to see my favorite characters come back to kick ass but on the other hand the perfect ending of R2 is potentially ruined. I say potentialy since I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
But what do you think? Was Zero Requiem enough for you or should the Emperor of the World live on?

I was curious about your thoughts especially arkham origins which got the most negative reviews out of the series. I personally think it was a great game despite it being same old shit. At least it was good at all i mean it could have been a trainwreck you know
I just wanted to say, it makes the game a lot better if you play the entire trilogy in a row. Notice how I said trilogy.
