My review:
- Great story mode
- funny writing (great nods to show)
- solid gameplay/dynamic
-customization
Cons:
- Story mode is not as replayable as it should be.
- not much to do after story mode
- some jokes are overused and not all jokes land
- repetitive dialogue
- bugs/glitches
-some cheap/annoying bosses
Overall. I did really enjoy this game. I am a big fan of the show so of course I loved every second of the campaign, with the nods to the show and witty humor Parker and Stone are known for. The combat was good, and dynamic sections that changed the flow of combat were nice as well. However, the game isn't as replayable as an RPG should be. Where as an RPG like Skyrim has so much more beyond the initial story mode, this game really has nothing beyond the story mode. There are some side missions that are fun but it only makes you want more. The town is nice but due to its small size, it gets old quick and it begins to feel empty. Some boss fights felt really cheap (mitch Connor annoyed tf outta me) and I get that was the point but it was still annoying. I wish there was more to the classes as well, and a way to upgrade your allies powers as well. The cutscenes for them gets old really fast.
I recommend this game for hardcore fans only. Besides that, I'd wait for a price drop. Not enough here after the story mode (which is lengthy BTW so that's good)

The stick of truth was better more enemy types more locations. I was surprised that Kyle's dad's trool study wasn't in the game
While i loved your No Mans Sky roast, you have to give them a little credit. They are going strong right now and the ARG is one of the best I've seen. I would recommend you take a look at it, but I won't be completely worth it until the next big update which won't drop until the ARG is completely solved.

Love the fact that even the developers of this game even reconize that pre-ordering games means that you are supporting bad content on itself and you are inspiring the developers to implement that shit to their other games. And yet people STILL pre-order these kinds of games, yet it means absolute shit, if the game forces you to buy microtransactions. -_-

5'07 I'm afraid I know what they were going for - they're making fun of the latest gaming trend where character customization is getting more and more complex, nuanced, and inclusive. I don't get why it's supposed to be funny, it's not even really all that clever of them, it's just kinda sad.

Hey suspect, have you ever thought of doing game playthroughs? Like doing Let's Plays? I think I'd probably enjoy watching you play games
Great review as always. I pretty much agree. I was honestly disappointed with this game. Didn't find it as funny, combat and strategy felt noticeably more shallow and overall, there weren't nearly as many memorable moments compared to Stick of Truth. There were so many great, funny sequences in the first game (Mr Slave's asshole, fighting in front of your parents having sex, Canada, etc). I couldn't tell you one thing in Fractured Butt Whole that came close to these moments. I'm not one for fart or toilet humour in general, but usually South Park is the exception. But here, the fart jokes got very old quickly. Also final nitpick, why is the game called "The" Fractured Butt Whole? It's like they had this great title and they ruined it with one word.
Well originally the title was 'The Butthole of Time' but Ubisoft told Matt and Trey that retailers wouldn't stock a game that contained the word 'butthole'. So to get past the censors they separated the word to 'but whole'.
I understand that but my complaint was mainly with the tile having "the" at the front of it.
