Wearing EO Haroon today- purely magical Cambodi!
Adam and the Ensar gang are masters of their craft for sure
Just stumbled on your channel last night. I appreciate your time and dedication to helping to educate us! I wish my nose and ability to describe the scents were as advanced as you. Been buying Oud from EO for 10 years. I know what I like but can never put into words as well as you have. Thanks again!

Dear Nikhil, I tested Tigerwood 1995 and Tigerwood Royale from Malaysia and two Chinese agarwood destillations: China Sayang and Hainan 2005. The chinese have really a medicinal opening to them, but I can only tell that these oils are absolutely complex and strong concentrated scents. They have different strands of scent direction. I also purchased the sampler set of the legendary ouds from Ensar, and there the Kinam Rouge from Vietnam is an absolutely different direction and very pleasant as well the Port Moresby, the Papua New Guinea extracted from Gyrinops variety is also an absolute other direction, very fresh and green. The Indian ouds of Ensar are also great and by no way do they smell this dung and urine smell which Dusita Oud Infini displays. I am just a beginner in oud and I think I will not be a big consumer but I can really second you and recommend artisanal oud oils to all interested people who like to try out really precious and rare scents. If someone is on a budget, only the samples are the feasible way to go.

Fantastic job with this video, Mr! A very informative one, especially for me, whom I'm not familiar to the real Oud smell. I'd so much love to try them all, unfortunately their price range is a bit too much for my pocket. Bravo, again!

I'm still very new pure oils only started two months ago been reading a lot videos reviews etc. Cheers my friend I have to check oud haroon I don't think it's even released yet.

Thank you Nikhil for sharing this video. I'm slowly getting into ouds starting with some designer and niche/luxury but they do not compare to artisanal ouds I am very sure. I've checked out Ensar's site and of course one has to be ready to invest in such a thing, it's so enormously expensive.
Your video was such a treat Bro. So full of information and detail! Thank you again! :D Double thumbs up! :D

Always find your videos such great help along the way and I'm sure as myself, everyone appreciates the effort and time you put into making them. You and a few others in this community I do appreciate!
      Cheers! :)

Hey Nikhil. Yet again, I’ve stumbled upon another fantastic video of yours. So much to learn from you! How would you rate Frederic Malle’s The Night? Is that comparable to wild Oud in your opinion? Or is it just another “commercial Oud” with great marketing? Where would you place it on the complexity scale? Very curious to hear what you have to say my friend.

what an amazing video! As you may remember, some time ago I purchased an aged cambodi oil from ASQ and i really enjoy it when im just chilling at home looking for a personal experience. its leathery, dank and balsamic in the opening and incensy in the drydown with a dry leather tone to it. I would be interested to find out if it is a real oil or not

    • @yevheno701

Dear Mr Nikhil , I noticed you are mixing up history of Indian Oud procurement by Arabs
( About Chinese also you mixed up.
In Chinese , agarwood name is
ChenXiang , in Japanese its Jinko. In Indonesia it's Gaharu ).
Islam has very close interaction with entire South East Asian countries and even with China for 1400 years of recorded history.
Arab traders were mainly from Yemen , they did spices trade with Kerala , India. Also with Indonesia , Malaysia.
They certainly must have come across and traded in Oud, as well.

If you're smelling horse shit, well then, it's horse shit.
    Got it.
Tobacco Ouds. I got something that was supposed to have oud in it , but it reminded me of a dense stacked leaf tobacco, but
then didn't .It's kinda hard to describe.
I also had another that reminded me of well, something turpanic, then went sweet to slightly green.
I was kinda weird . I didn't know what to make of it.
I wanted to ask you a couple times about Ensar. I think I did ask Peter though. He had never heard of them.
So I am glad you are covering them.
Darn, I was just considering the 2014 Archipelago. Sampling anyways.
Thank you for doing this incredible video.
