Who doesn't listen to a whole album? I have so many albums where I've found favourite songs at the 7th or 8th track.
I usually will listen to entire albums all the way through even if there are a few stinkers on it. It's more about the full experience then picking and choosing.

Normally speaking, I pick a few songs I like and throw it into a playlist. For monuments on the other hand, their last two albums have been complete bangers with ZERO bad songs. Every riff is catchy as shit.

John playing a TesseracT riff is now my new favorite thing, next to John playing his own Monuments riff, hahah. That was a great interview, Ola! Monuments has been definitely one of my favorite bands and it's usually the band that I go back to listening the most, John is such a beast and I never get tired of listening to him riffing really hard!

It is effing great to hear a guitar player give props to Hetfield's guitar playing because I feel Metallica don't get enough credit for what they have achieved and for the doors they have opened for other bands...today's bands owe a lot to Metallica for paving the way ahead for great metal music done with a great technical ability. Good to see. I could go on and on about this but anyway..Cool beans.Respect.
Sadly, its getting increasingly rare to hear positive things being said on the topic of Metallica, particularly on the internet. The ratio of hacky jokes to respect is tragically skewed.
The thing about Enter Shikari, is that their music is good and their performance is so fun to watch regardless what kind of music you listen to
Great video as always! I was wondering what determines the length of the Coffee w/ Ola segments. Some are 60+ minutes, and some are 20 min. Just curious what makes you call cut, or let it run.
Think it depends on the individual, some people are talkers and some are not.

Musicians are often on your and their time is limited, that's what most likely will be, besides they did 2 videos together so it probably was that.
You two have such a special dynamic a PODCAST of some sort would TAKE OFF boys. Very natural episode i must say.

I think it's almost guaranteed you'll have a pleasant and comfortable video if you have John Browne around. I'm not a huge fan of the randomizer djent riff writing, as I honestly do find it gets WAY too repetitive in the quest to remain 'inventive', but all genres do...either way, John just seems to be a gentleman with a no bullshit consideration. I appreciate the hell out of that...I am also wanting a Mayones and found him because of said research haha

I don’t people actually understand how tight Hetfield’s playing is. That guy is/was a fucking machine. Thanks to John for pointing that out. As big as metallica is, I don’t think James gets enough credit for his actual technique.
I totally get what Mr. Browne is laying down about alternate picking. It always felt "thin" to me compared with straight downpicking. That's where the power is. Glad to have found this today as I was not familiar with Mr. Browne's playing. As a player for nearly 30 years I'm glad to be able to add him to the list of players that remind me how bad I suck!
