This might be my favorite video of yours strictly because you showcased the plus on block J2Hs of some of the bottom tiers. I find that a lot of people don't expect their frame advantage and priority. Decent for catching super dashes, easy convert on grounded opponents, and they're just funny as hell XD! I'll literally spend an entire game repeating j5H j25 on my brother to irritate him (and then revive zamasu with the dragonballs so the J2H train never ends). It's nice to hear an informed and skilled player talk about them :)
Having a lot more fun with this game now that i play historically "low tier" characters while simultaneously bodying people who don't understand the match ups.
I definitely think they are strong. Vegito in particular, I used as an example of how many good characters usually need to be mid screen for their left/right mix to work, but Goku black can do his even in the corner.
Vegito is classed 4.5 in his list so I guess he knows he's not a low tier... Jiren however, I'm half-surprised as he has been low tier for a long time, and now relies a bit too much on his counters?
The only characters that mix me up on my xbox are "long load times" , "horrible matchmaking", "Server disconnected", "Laggy gameplay". All the other chars are fine to me
I love DBFZ, and I love all the videos in the community from other content providers. That being said, Rath, there's no one who's DBFZ vids I look forward to more than yours. Keep it up buddy, love the content!!!
Another tip for the videl mix, her 2m is reflectable in a string which kinda sucks but if your opponent is abusing this you can go for her grab where you normally 2m and they’ll get caught

The day that zamasu dropped I was playing him with tien and I always thought the fly/un-fly to set up high low mix was f****** tight and never really got all of the hate the character received on launch for being low tier garbage. Before they changed double supers is zamasu had the coolest f****** synergy in the world with tien and could set up double supers for him and it was my favorite shell in the game for a short patch cycle. I still think they have pretty good synergy and are interchangeable with either one on the field and having the other back them up with assists in the situation where you tag to recover blue life
Weird title, but great guide👍 Also can you do SD plus assist high lows in the corner with any character with a fast hitting 2L? And does it also Work for Big body characters like Cell?
superdash plus assist mixup will work with most characters that have fast lows. There are some cases where the lows don't reach far enough, so you'll want to double check and get some practice with your characters in training mode before trying in matches.
Hey Rath great content 👍🏾 your a great teacher. I know what you mean by high and low blockstun but how am I able to figure out if an assist is high or low to begin with?
In training mode, you can pause the game and go to "info display settings". There is a setting to let you see frame advantage. Set the opponent to "block all" and then use your assist. It will tell you how many frames of blockstun your assist has. 25-30 is pretty average. 40 would be a lot. Some are even higher than that!
I believe his doesn't work for that unfortunately. His seems to be the exception, probably because he loses the "superjump state" when the divekick hits the grounded opponent.

the instant overhead thing is something i like a lot cus of how common and how strong it is. It can be 2h if your opponent's ready

In order to float the way you want after a super jump or super jump install, you'll need to keep holding up + the direction you want to move in.
