That 305 will sound better with true duals, I put headers with header mufflers to an H pipe with straight pipes from there. It was the best sounding exhaust I ever put together.

I'm assuming this car has a 4 barrel carburetor. Flip the air filter cap upside down. You'll hear that carburetor breathe when you get on it. That sounds better than any loud exhaust, that moan when the 4 barrel opens. Try it, if you haven't already.
So weird seeing a solid rear axle on a 4 door car. We had a Pontiac parisienne (basically the same car as this) this when I was a kid and my dad towed our boat with it. Can you imagine doing that with a Camry?

Low miles? I don’t think so sounds like it’s got low compression in a couple cylinders. Should of kept it single or just ran one muffler with dual tail pipes.

Come on exhaust addicts.. for such a cheap and quick fix should've replaced that belt. For such a nice looking survivor it was hard for me to ignore the high pitched scretch of the belt. I'm interested in a couple flowFx's on my Squarebody Burban.

Yes, there are plenty of them in the local scrap yard. Make sure to look for the ones with hundreds of micro-cracks that are hard as rocks.
