That counter-rotating prop section is just pure showboating. :D It looks amazing! Also, nice work with the contours that SE's block design system does not handle gracefully. You put a lot of work into this ship, and it shows! Re: smoother lines, I look forward to some kind of successor that uses a more dynamic node-based or scalable block system. Wish I had a dedicated graphics card, I have a lot of hours on SE but I cant do big ships or play for a long time because my integrated graphics card starts to go a 100% usage
The only way to win in aerial combat in SE is to not engage in it. It takes so little to send you crashing down or into something. It's really only viable for hit-and-run tactics (but with player-made weapons those hits can be devastating).
This is why script based missiles are a thing and point defense comes into play. And with enough spaced armor and designed redundancy you can mitigate enough damage to stay in the fight and keep dealing damage In short, skill issue
@@borischung01 Yeah but.. how many are hidden in that thing. One of the biggest issues I have is designing internals, and making something that isn't a flying brick lol.
@@borischung01 Very true, I'd advise either flipping the ramp upside down for a gentler approach angle or using a combo of ramps and flat plates/catwalks. That way any vehicle can make it in.
"Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak" Vibes
That's where the music came from, yes
@TheRinewind64 same opinion even without the music and that is the highest praise I can possibly ever give.
I thought so haha
yea, best part is the fact that there is a server like this AND its mostly rovers with some hover vehicles

The ship is pretty, but it needs more dakka, like 675% moar dakka. Also if you painted it red it would go faster.
Ork logic in a nutshell
Char Aznable moment
The next ship is exactly that. More dakka. Coming out tmr
If you're painting it red, might as well add horn to it.
MORE DAKKA!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!
There was this game once called Crimson Skies...
Yet another game you can use Space Engineers to play. Stuff's already in the Workshop😄
loved that back on the OG xbox lol
thank you. you reminded me of a game i completly forgot i ever plaed or even existed :D
Well that was a game I didn't think I'd ever hear brought up again lol.
I'd really like that genre to make a comeback. Dieselpunk or whatever it's now called.
Crimson skies lore was wild
You're builds inspire me to make my own, keep up the great work man!
Yeah Crimson Skies, I loved this game and all the plane designs.
Wow, its got propellers and everything! Nice work! I'll have to see if its possible to build something like that in Stormworks. :)
Oh shit I just upvoted this on reddit. Love the build!
How did you do the propellers, more specifically the middle ones
Double railing block
Considered a solid block, attaches on both sides
But blocks can pass thru it
@@borischung01 ohhh, interesting, thank you
@@borischung01 I couldn’t seem to get it to work in my world, has it been changed?
@@ChernoStriker nope. Still works. Look up how to do it, there are plenty of videos explaining it
@borischung01 ok, I just figured it out, I was just being a bit slow, I had placed them where the rotor wasn’t passing through the opening, 😅
'We've done extensive testing sir. It works perfectly against opponents with no targeting computers.'
insanely beautiful and the game runs flawlessly for what space engineers is usually known for.

I am massively impressed. This is glorious.
sci-fi castle in the sky, awesome stuff

Awesome ship design? Gives me mad futuristic WW1/WW2 vibes
4:34 How the Su-57 achieves stealth
with the song it does give vibe of desert of kharak
gave me some vague ace combat 3 vibes, way cool though, one of the best showcases ive seen for space engineers
Dont stop making these, awesome
This looks like a scene from a mecha anime from 90s
very cool. love steampunk/ dieselpunk in nearly any game. 💚
Are those tanks at 4:11 available on the workshop? 👀
Definitely way cooler and more original than most
Quite Vibey
Beautiful Art
How does this not get taken by clang
2:14 how did it fire so fast?
Twin, 32 small grid railguns attached to a rotor and fired with a script when each gun is aligned with the "barrel"
Nice job! Very impressive
Very cool video I like this big mothership 🤩

An unhealthy amount of very well spaced out internal thrusters. Both hydrogen and atmo

The props remind me of the battleships in that one anime movie Howl's Moving Castle
How is it floating without engines?
please tell me the livery on the F-35 is inspired by sol squadron from Ace Combat 7
Yep.
This is rad
If this thing’s what they call a corvette then I’m scared to see what a proper capital ship looks like.
Around 950k blocks

MArmOS

Highfleet if it was set around 80 years before the events of highfleet

MArmOS, FYI it's HARD to setup a custom arm
How is it just floating? Doesn’t it need thrusters?
Internal thrusters. Spaced out and protected with armor.

yeah that's why I did a rotary railgun setup. So all guns impact in the same point, and fire rate is both adjustable and sustainable
