It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to break Oggdo's block meter on grandmaster. After 1 or 2 parries, he'll regen his block meter with in seconds which is why i decided to use the blaster stance. The blaster stance has his own parry... Point Blank. Point blank works exactly like parries, but can also parry unblockable and stuns oggdo. It does take some time getting used to seeing that it is slightly different, but i do recommend parrying using point blanks against oggdo. Only thing is that you must be touching the enemy to use point blank, otherwise you will be hit. If you are not close, i recommend normal parries so you can recharge your bullets. hope this helps, Lil small guide for u guys :')

Nicely done! You're the only one I've seen so far using point blank. Sure seems to work well. Thanks for the tip about having to touch him for it to work. It had certainly been frustrating me with how hit and miss it seemed to be, but now I know why.

Can force parry work?
I still find it crazy how you can’t use force pull to pull the oggdos tongue out and cut it off bc u could do it Fallen order.
Ye i was so mad about that, even if you max out the force skills you cant do it, he’s basically completely immune to the force🥲

There is polish streamer who fought these frogs for over 20 hours and still lost to them, his death count is well over 1000 deaths. And you just cleared them under 4 minutes without damage XD

This is really impressive. I feel like I'm good as i have gotten almost every item on grandmaster and still find these fights near impossible. You could do this even faster if you shot your blaster more!

I'm contemplating doing/trying a no damage completion against them. I think No-Hit for me is a bit too much but I think No-Damage is doable with enough practice.
I just managed to finish all 5 Stances against them on GM (spaced the completions out for my sanity). Did Blaster for my first Master and GM completions, then did Single, Double Bladed, Dual Weild, then Crossguard. Crossguard was painful. No damage is next up probably. I'm genuinely impressed at people good enough to pull this off.

Does parry push work in situations where you aren't touching an enemy or does it work the same way?
Just gave it a go, it does work exactly the same and does affect the oggdos, however i do not recommend using that simply because it drains your force meter and using point blank damages them when you parry.
So yeah it works, but id say not worth it🫡

Bro I’ve spent 10+ hours fighting this stupid boss without learning much about his attack patterns. But thanks anyway as this helps me to learn them easier. This fight reminds me of the inquisititor Cal as it felt pretty impossible. GGs tho ❤

You must really like frogs. Even if you got the idea from someone else there is an insane amount of work behind this perfection. And if you developed the strategy on your own it's even more crazy. I was happy enough to beat this on Jedi Knight but that was before I aquired the Blaster Stance. I found Spawn early on, so I fought these as soon as Doma opened her shop. I would not do that on a GM run, for obvious reasons.
Im one of the first to beat it on gm with no damage, but the first using this method 🫡
But oh god u fought them that early😭😭that mustve been tough without a blaster stance. I beaten them again later on, by combining blaster stance and double sided lightsaber, made it a lot more fun to fight🤣

Here i am after 2 hours trying to beat them with cross guard and single blade on story mode, then seeing a video about the blaster stance breaking the red attacks, now ive been trying for 40 minutes to beat them with blaster, i just had 1 hit left on Oggdo and he tried to charge me so i jumped and dashed and got stuck in the scenery and he killed me. Im so pissed 😂 came online for more tips and youve just made me want to give up 😅😂 damn you good gamers!!!! 😂😂😂

I really wanted to see the cross Guard cleave those whales.
If you want, i could redo it but with cross guard, but i did try using it, its really not that good. You only have time to use 1 swing, maybe 2 and you it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to break his block meter on grandmaster. Honestly, would look less cool and fun to watch🥲 point blank parries are better than normal parries because they actually stun, giving me time to attack

Bro how tf you dodge he red lounge attack like that. Every time I do it he’s tracking me like a heat seeking missile even when I’m dashing in the air
I double jump and dash is the best way to do it. Also a little bit on the timing, if you can dash as soon as his tongue leaves his mouth (i know its like 0.5 seconds or something) u can make it🙆♂️

That was sick! Fighting these guys was a nightmare on GM. I think the devs just copied and pasted these guys into the game from fallen order without actually reworking them to better fit into Jedi survivor.
Oh nono, they are much harder than the ones in jedi fallen order, these ones can either do a 1 or double bite, and can do a 4 bite combo near tge end, also u cant cut off their tongues and almost impossible to dodge, must jump above them🙆♂️ and thank you :)) they were a nightmare🥲

And its a skill upgrade for the blaster stance. Works exactly like normal parries but you have to shoot just before they hit you instead, and you must be touching them🙆♂️

It took me a while too, but i found it’s literally in the name. Point blank. You have to be touching them for it to work🥲 parry distance isnt enough, u have to be literally touching them, hope it helps🫡

Wronnggggggg lmao. I beat the 2 rancors in 2 tries and had very little trouble. These 2 are at least 5 times harder, probably more. Seriously if you haven’t done it and think it’ll be easy cause you beat that fight you are in for a rude awakening 😂😂

How the heck?! I tried those blaster parries with the exact same timing and it never worked. And that was just normal difficulty. Best I could do was get a glitched shot off after it had already done its bite combo, or charge

Interesting but I did this fight before having access to Air Dash. I also suck and play medium but still...
I really preferred killing off bosses myself. Once you get them to a certain health in Survivor, the devs pull out the Force Unleashed card which then pulls back on replayability, whereas my finishing move in Fallen Order could be different every time. Sooo, seen it, done it.

It cant be broken yeah, and if u want to beat it without any forms of parries, all you can do is roll, swing, roll, swing etc. point blank parries is the best way, and fun way to do it
