Sweet flight Abby! We just love 'Abby Flight' specials. To me Abby, your comments during flight are GREAT for the beginner or newcomer to flying. I'm like you too- I like to talk while flying. Calms my nerves. Nate- this vid was SUCH a feel good vid- because of your continual supportive comments to Abby. PS- Abby is a natural salesperson! Utterly charming and fun on cam. Be well guys :)
Had my Hanger 9 89'' P-51 Mustang out flying today. I have been waiting so long for nice weather so I could be out flying. Just upgraded it with the Evolution 62GX Gas and wow what a difference. My wife finally got to fly her new Wise Sensei FS with gyro. We bought the Sensei on your recommendation and she loves it. Glad to see you guys out flying. You guys are the greatest. My wife wasn't very interested in R/C's until she started watching Abby on your videos, now she loves it so thank you for making her a fan and for the recommendation.
Just wanna let you know that the RC's are only part of the reason why I enjoy your channel. What I find particularly endearing is when the playful tension and frustration, which is inevitable when working with your spouse, comes through in the videos. Communicating with a certain look, or particular tone of voice here and there... as only a couple could :) There's a dynamic between you two that's just so fun to watch!
You are right this is one lovely aeroplane that flies really well,I fly mine from a cabbage patch and what fun it is,practise flapped decents from height into wind and just watch it come down vertically.
I like this video because the tundra is an awesome airplane and I love how you two work together on these reviews. The tundra is one of my favorite planes. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking back to March 2017😊 how time flies 🤔 cannot believe this was 3yrs ago already? The past 5 years have gone so fast, I think it has something to do with enjoying the RC hobby so much 😊 what's that thing people say about time and flying?😊😊
I think the crash video is my favorite one from you guys. Why? Because it’s the perfect example of how to show your wife how much you love her. It’s great that Abby embraces your hobby and goes out to fly with you. She actually is a pretty good pilot, even though she just doesn’t have the stick time that you have obviously, but she felt so bad about crashing the tundra and the drone. I would have felt bad too, but crashes do happen, no sense in making her feel bad about it right? And you were very sweet about it to her. So bravo.
I love your videos. The best rc experience I've had before was when I was flying in my usual spot and a bunch of deer started running across. I flew my drone across the field and started filming them. My dad just bought the xiro explorer and I can't wait to fly it with him. Right now I have the cyma x5 and I love it. I wanna get started at planes but it seems hard, Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Great work Abby, you're awesome and you seemed to enjoy the flight time, You guys keep up the great work and can't wait to see you in the air again. This is a great way for both of you to get skill improvements while out, You on the sticks and Nate behind the camera.
Could you easily mount a Go Pro facing through the windshield and another facing down without affecting the balance? Thank you. i am new RC flier and am weighing between the Timber and Tundra. Thank you
Nice flying Abby. Far better than my first attempt with my new mini trainstar today and that's stabilised :D And I wasn't trying or even able to provide a running commentary. You're a better flyer than you seem to think you are.
Really love watching your reviews guys.. epic team! Great that you support each other too during the testing... makes all the difference when pre flight nerves are concerned lol..anyhoo.. carry on from a fan from Australia!
She's getting better about flying a bit lower, but you are right! It's definitely safer to fly higher up. Happy Flying Daniel, and thanks for watching!
TheRcSaylors I don't know if you remember a blonde trumpet player named Bethany Hall but I am her father. BTW I love your channel and have spent most of the afternoon watching your videos.
Great review as always. How do you feel about the durability of this plane from the point of view of transportation. Can it be put together at the Flying Field and taken apart again each time you go flying? how long do you think it would last? the screw holes for the wing spares etc...Regards, Pete
Great plane, great flight, great video! We've been having unseasonably warm weather here in New Mexico too, seems like flying weather came early to most of the country
Would you guys suggest this as a first plane? I already got some experience with the p51 mini warbird from eachine and a flight sim, but never something so big. Thanks for the help, Great Video!
Thanks! No, these days HobbyKing is NOT what they used to be. We don’t really recommend this brand for a handful of reasons, but if you still want to take the risk, that’s totally up to you! 👍😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors Thanks a lot for the quick reply! Do you not recomment hobby king because of bad service (in that case I could try to buy the plane from another retailer), or becuase of bad plane quallity? In which case, could you pls suggest me an affordable PNP plane for begginers?
Abby not to sound rude but I feel has if, in order for me to know if an rc is amazing and easy to learn I need to see you do it, not to say that nate, can do a lot with these rc to Abby is another case good job abby, I am impressed.
Glitched Noa hi .... try a local club .. they may let you try on a 'buddy box' .. most bmfa clubs in UK invite 1st timers and provide training and help free of charge. the Tundra is an excellent trainer.....Chris
Go Abby Go! Big fan from Australia !You guys are doing really well , nice throttle control on the ground too ! What Radio are you using ? Looks like a Graupner MZ12 ?
Thanks so much Darrin :) So we have actually been flying on a Turnigy 9x and have really been enjoying it, but to keep Abby in her comfort zone we kept her on her Tactic TTX 650 :-)
Hey Guys, I enjoy your videos, you seem like really nice folks! Just wanted to let you know that your link to purchase the tundra on amazon is broken. cheers
Bryce Christiansen the "spirit" of this channel? lol Toy quads are nice and all as I have a e010 myself and I love it, but a new one every other day is a tad much. The RC Saylors are about RC, trucks, planes, boats and quads. And it feels like all they've done recently is toy grade quads. It's nice to see some planes. Hopefully come spring we will see some boats.
Awesome job Abby! I personally prefer the plane to come at me when landing it. Stupid as it sounds ,I dont do as well on landing comming from left to right or right to left, and I tend to land it far away from me. What brand battery are you using. I prefer Venom as they tend to charge quickly, keep a charge longer and are my favorite. Part of flying is crashing. Thats just part of the game. When you can laugh it off and realize that a foam plane is really easy to repair anyways, you are ok. I tend to think my planes fly better after crashing and repair,I think the weight of the glue helps, lol. The Tundra is an awesome plane. The Apprentice can typically fly 15 minutes easily. You will really enjoy that plane for a long ,long time. Abby, you are getting so much better on landing and take off is great.
Love that plane. The latest version come with better wheels and different colors. I love the green but it comes with those foam wheels. That plane will loop with just using the flaps
My 6th grade science is doing the shoe box experiment and I decided to do the How many potatoes do you need to power an rc truck experiment . My rc truck is going to be a little cheap new bright truck. Btw y'all are my favorite rc channel ever.😄😄😄
now, time for FPV! slap a vtx and camera on there. it is much easier to fly then. best to have a spotter to tell you when your getting to far or to close to the ground in a loop. (you should aways have a spotter while flying fpv) slap some lights on it as well.
Hello Nate and Abbie I just wanna say how much I enjoy watching your videos and how relaxing they are. I love this video because it shows how easy it is to fly. I bought one after watching this.
do you use AS3X? or any other stabilization? I'm looking for a first plane, but with a wide performance envelope.
@@-BUFFALOMan i did yes. Great plane.
Nice looking plane! Still haven't flown a plane yet just drones , boats , cars. She did a good landing. right on guys. :)
I watched the whole thing. Very nice video.
Thanks Dave 👍😁😎⚓
Great video guys. Nice flying Abby.
Thanks Lee!
Good work Abby. Love the Marshall swag too. It matches the plane.

model nutty oh wow thank you. I should be decent at flying it and I never knew it could be like flying a quad
two hours of writing later :)

That fly's a long time, compare to most quads,it seems more relaxing to watch. In alaska they use this plane for bush pilots in summer.great video.
Great flight! Looks really fun!

Thank you very much Steve!!
Nice work Abby!! That plane looks amazing.
Very nicely done you two.
Thank you very much!
awesome flying abby. and very good camera work nate
Thank you!
She flies like I did when I started as high as possible. Altitude is insurance! I still fly higher than I should 30 years later.
She's getting better about flying a bit lower, but you are right! It's definitely safer to fly higher up. Happy Flying Daniel, and thanks for watching!
I fly low and dive bomb the chomos out of the playgrounds
Nate, You stated flaps, so it has flaps and ailerons too? First soloed 1989 N6529M Cessna 152T.
Yes it has both :) Abby just didn't take advantage of the flaps. I need to mix in some elevator and trim it down a bit.
Would it be hard to fly for someone who only has a small 780mm glider? And what’s the flight time on it?
Go Herd! When where you at Marshall? My daughter was in the band and graduated in 2012.
2008-2013
I was a majorette 08-10 and feature twirler in 11.

It's been an odd winter, but we will take these nice days anytime!
Good job Abby you did a great job, and Nate did ok on the camera---LOL
Haha, thanks Hank!
Are there any guidelines on how to program flaps on this plane? The elevator needs to go up while using the flaps I suppose?!
Would you guys suggest this as a first plane? I already got some experience with the p51 mini warbird from eachine and a flight sim, but never something so big.

hi I'm Thomas and I would like it if you could do a review on the rc desert eagle 3 to test how good it is
We will check it out Thomas :)

one guy put an upgrade propeller on it and it flew even better! great plane to put small action cams on.

Great video. What was your flight time? 18 minutes? On a 2200? WOW
Thanks :) Yeah something like that. I wasn't juicing it the whole time or anything though.
Nicee, Im not that into flying never even flown anything before but this airplane makes me want to buy it
It'd be a top notch first plane :) Thanks for tuning in!
Great flying Captain....
:-)
Happy to see more videos with Abby in front of the camera. Shes cute. Not that you're not cute Nate . Lol. Great videos guys and very informative too.
Nice flying, and Nate you are god with The camera. If some one say something let them try 😀
What is the 5th channel? I just know til the 4th lol
The way we currently have it set up is for flaps. You could also add a sixth on this for a candy drop box :)
Good job Abby. At least when you took off you had the plane in "forward" not "reverse" ;)
Haha, that's right :-D
Rick Trelease t. Y
Yes yes it was right
Great job! Keep that rudder alive in climbs and turns.

There are certain days the club flies on. We try to film on the off days so as not to disturb everyone :-)
Nate makes good sense..Talking and flying is great..You go Abby, Wish my wife liked flying it would be fun..Did you always like it or did it grow on you??
I got the furbee f36
J Simmons me too. awesome lill beast and so fast for straight out of the box. and so easy to get fpv with it. have fun and keep flying
Abby, look at the Tundra's landing gear suspension as like jumping off a wall: if you couldn't bend when you land, your knees & ankles would smash.
go Abby go. You did great.
This plane is awesome
Awesome flying Abby... Next time use your flaps... full flaps will slow you down extremely so that you can land like a Boss. Also if you do full flaps add a little down elevator.
Hi Abby and Nate how are you?
Cool guys. 😃👍 I like it. 😃👍
Thank you Wayne!
good jod. you are # 1 in my list.
I love your videos.thaks

Cool flying abbie
I will be getting one because a female flew it so well xxx
