Not to say that mainline Sonic isn't an empathetic person despite his attitude, because he is, but I'm seeing that empathy and good intent all the more with your take on amnesiac Sonic. He still has a free spirit to him, instinctively jumping around and speeding along, but he's shown himself to be a lot more hesitant to violence in contrast to his canon counterpart. Neither would ever kill a person, but this Sonic wouldn't want to hurt anyone for any reason, unless he was given a reason by those that guide him, in complete contrast to his canon counterpart.

Ah , I see you're taking the 2 path approach to this. I've been working the event sequence maps on this for a while myself. A surprise boss would shake things up , like some back-burner robots of interest. Death Metal from the green tube in SA1 , Mecha Knuckles , Plush Amy's affection army.
Good ideas for a different story perhaps. Changes I make here I want to be a direct result of Sonic's death, so things like Mecha Knuckles during heroes are off the table. Worry not though, the longer this story goes, the bigger the differences will become.

Having organic material to channel organic energies , like how Fang uses cork bullets. I always thought it was strange that there was no reason for how Eggman could make spirit traps in Mystic Mansion. There were robots in haunted places before , but none actually manipulated the places. Robots in paintings , orbs to seal paths , oddly helpful skeletons , an ectoplasm well with balloon switches , and a surreal ability testing arena. Nothing would have to change , just restrict it to Mystic Mansion's haunted weirdness. You could even use it to haze Sonic. Like Plush Amy whispering the lyrics to Undefeatable in a tone only he hears. Disappearing past a corners to lead him to a trap , or separate him from the group. I just thought of a gag , Sonic could peak past a corner they just past and Tails Doll is being treated like a Sultan by the Amy dolls. Sonic : "Okay , you gotta see this." Rouge just sees a skeleton playing golf. Rouge : "Doesn't look that important." Sonic sees it too , "A skeleton playing golf?" Omega : "It shall be destroyed!" Omega : "Negative , no threats or targets." Rouge and Sonic look down an empty hall. Sonic : "We need to get outta here!!" Rouge : "This time together , blue , together."
Considering that there was originally a development where Metal Sonic teamed up with Mighty and others I think don't have to add twists and stick to the composition of Heroes
Something i don't get We all know that this eggman is just metal sonic in disguise but what would happen if the real eggman came in when sonic asks for answers Would eggman use this to his advantage and manipulate sonic on joining him?
I'm like this what if better than Sega Scourge's one, because you didn't made Sonic become a asshole towards everyone because he's amnesiac and made him look more edgier than Shadow, also not making Shadow entering Team Hero is also a good touch and the best is that you didn't made that bizarre fusion of Sonic Heroes with Sonic 06 and Shadow The Hedgehog that Sega Scourge made.
I respectfully disagree. I prefer Sega Scourge version, Shadow, Tails and Knuckles interaction is fun, with how little we got. So seeing Shadow not joining Tails & Knuckles in this version is very disappointing.
I always wondered how shadow survived his fall to the surface in the original timeline cause super form would have remained juat enough to avoid burning up but the terminal velocity fall yeah ghat would really hurt
the series was fully finished and awhile later he made a pilot for a spin off story in the same universe which he hasn’t made a second episode of yet but in his discord he has said he will come back but doesn’t know when yet
I feel like I am going to be saying this every day for the next month, but until I uploaded this series I had never even heard of that guy I doubt I (or he) are the first people to imagine swapping Sonic with Shadow
