Recently, at an interview Laufey said that she chosed to play the cello bc she always had a deeper voice so maybe Junia sounds different while singing (sorry for my bad english btw, i'm not a native speaker)

Good morning! My cousin just adores you and your music and I do too now. I know this video is old but it was great meeting your twin Junia. On a side note I must say that I have the same glassware you showed in this video. I loved listening to you sing Misty and that got me to thinking of a song that may be perfect for your voice is "500 Miles". If I have the title wrong it is the song that goes..."If you miss the train I'm on then you will know that I am gone, you can hear the whistle blowing a hundred miles." Thank you!
