Anne Margret and Marty Robins. They were riding when it wasn't easy or excepted. Like a lot of the people in this video. There's always someone trying to discredit someone whether they know what they are talking about or not. Big respect for these people and I've been riding since 1968.
Didn't just race motorcycles, he was a real competitor. He did lots of the riding in 'Great Escape' but was not allowed to do the final jump. His pal Bud Ekins did it instead - but he did it later, because reasons....

All very true. Guy Martin the Aisle of Mann TT racer had a chance to ride the Great Escape Triumph and it was a cool moment. On Micheal Parks he may not have been a motocross and Baja racer but he did more for Harley Davidson Sportster sales for years after the show was done. A ton of guys got into riding HD because of Then came Bronson. Wish I had that bike now!
You've got everyone in there that I thought of...except Michael Parks and Nick Adams !..they rode motorcycles big time. It was Michael Parks and him in the "Then Came Bronson" program that got me started in riding and every kid that watched that program thought about it. 🤣. I was wondering if you would include Clark Gable..John Wayne and Jimmy Hendrix and...you did. 👍
Triumph was the coolest of the cool British motorcycles in the old days. Personal bike of choice for so many iconic movie stars who were tough guys in real life. Not just a prop to be photographed sitting on.
You got all the obvious ones that everyone knew about like McQueen, Gable, Reeves, Cruise, but with a few surprises like Shatner, and others. Good video.
When Buddy Holly signed his first record deal, he went back to Texas to buy a Harley. The dealer didn't believe he had the cash, so he went down the street and bought a Triumph.

He liked cars too, and definitely drove them himself. I'm not an Elvis fan-boy, but apparently he really was a cool guy before the fame and drugs got him.

Was expecting a shot or two of the bad ass and beautiful lady Ann-Margret Olsson, I believe she actually rode at some point, and not just for Hollywood promotional stuff. Ann Margaret rode every type of motorcycle. She has riden since the sixties, owned several choppers. There are some great shots of her riding her Triumph chopper in the desert. Just Google Ann Margaret choppers.

Another fun fact: Chuck Norris' motorcycle did not use gasoline. It would run even when the tank was empty because it was scared of getting its ass kicked if it didn't work when he wanted it to.

Wow, Bruce Lee could ride without even touching the pegs… knew he was rider when he was older tho (fun photo anyways)…Jason Robards’ facial expression really showed he was enjoying his ride.
The white chopper that Muhammad Ali is astride is, I guess, one of Sugar Bear's motorcycles. Sugar Bear was one the pioneers of the chopper style and even though he was very talented he had to fight against racial prejudice to put his name on motorcycle history. That's an inconic photograph in every sense for the American bikers and specially for the Afro American biker comunity and even, if we transcend it's local meaning, for mankind. Ali and Bear (represented by his bike) united; two men that fought to make a world a better place, a place on which every person, black, white or whatever, could have access to the same opportunities. Peace and respect from Brazil. ✌
Tripp, mate, some of these are just "Promo Shots" & in movies, some of them didn't ride, but they all looked cool just the same, even Elvis on a Honda(I'm pretty sure all America had a WTF moment with that). You should look up a guy named "George Formby" if you want a true dyed in the wool motorcycling "BadAss", he's an odd looking fella in the 30s & on he was a British movie Star & Isle of Man TT racer, this guy was f#ckin unbelievable. The Elvis Honda is in the film Roustabout I think; he does get abuse in the film for riding a foreign bike, then crashes it while showing off to a girl. The film made a huge impression on me as a young boy, and I have owned an awful lot of Hondas 🙂
Very cool, but how about Alanis Morissette, Angelina Jolie, Cher, Miley Cyrus, Michelle Rodriguez, Katee Sackhoff, or Pink . . . and, if it’s more of a iconic photo op then a passion, Janis Joplin has to be The One.
If you want genuine badass, it would have to be Randall "Tex" Cobb or William O. Smith. Those guys were genuine bikers who became actors, and were real life animals who could probably eat anyone on this video alive. Let them fight it out, and whoever survived, would be the winner. If they killed each other, give it to Peewee Herman. Peewee defeated a whole biker bar just by dancing to "Tequila" before riding a Harley about 100' through a billboard and falling over.

Description said badass and actually rode. Cut half the list easily. Chodes posing on bikes are not badasses who rode. Newman, McQueen, reeves, and McGregor for sure. Competitive racing and round the world trips=badass. Being able to work the clutch and gas long enough to ride around the block and pull up for photos=chode.

He rode a little bit but mostly he flew motorcycles.

Yes he rode motorcycles but he was only on the bike 50% of the time.

i lived not far from graceland i would see elvis on a bike from the school bus once in a while

I drive my Kawasaki Z1R, my Venom, my Bonneville, my Horex Regina, my Bultaco... but no one has shot a photograph of me as yet, except for the police.
I think a few of them were just posers. But they were cool doing it.
