    i woke up feeling literally BLUH! i couldn't understand the way im feeling so instead of doing my morning routine i had coffee and danced to my morning stroll playlist and then ate half a water melon. i feel better now.

    I agree. This concept is literally the basis for a type of therapy for depression called behavioral activation. It basically states that when you're depressed you lose your motivation to do things so you stay in bed and then get even more depressed. But if you continue to show up for things, even if you feel like crap, those things will eventually probably change your mood for the better because now you're introducing opportunity for positive experiences. It's not that you're actively trying to change your mood or force yourself to feel differently than you do, it's just that you're doing things anyway and possibly feeling better as a result (usually). Great video!

    I really needed this, my husband and I are expecting identical twin boys and found out they may have some serious health conditions and we see a specialist tomorrow morning. Thank you, we all just have bad days.
    Ps Please Please Please dont delete your old videos on your main channel, I still love watching them so much, like the old youtobers and stuff. They make me so happy and inspired.

    KALYN! You got me today girl, I needed this coffee talk more than I even realized. For the past month, I’ve been going through a lot with my relationship with my baby daddy, this past week I’ve been feeling like absolute shit & forcing myself to pretend I’m ok. I think today is the day I stop that, I’m sad, I’m disappointed, and I’m lost, but it’s ok, I’ve got myself, I accept where this journey is taking me.
    Now that I’m crying, I love you girl. You’re an inspiration.

    Hey Kalyn. It’s Acronym. An abbreviation is a short form of a word. An acronym is taking the first letter of each word to create a new word.
    Either way I will use ATIO. 😆

      Dear Diana Darling All acronyms are abbreviations but not all abbreviations are acronyms. She’s technically not wrong when she says abbreviation. But her statement of first letters of each word turning into a new word is an acronym. They are both forms of shorted phrases or words. Specifically an acronym is a new word formed from the initial letters in a phrase. Can get confusing though however pretty sure people will understand either way. ☺️

    I used to work in sales,.....years ago....I still remember something my boss said back then, I never forgot, she used to say in our daily morning meetings: ''Don't worry about anything!....work on it!!.....get rid of the worry yourself....through work!...''' (it's supposed to be a clever, short rhyme, lol, but that's the idea). It's just one of those things they tell you so you work harder and don't come to your boss whining because you didn't meet your daily quota and all that....but applied to yourself, as an entrepreneur, this line is pure gold!!.....Your video made me remember that so thanks! :D

    I love this 🥰 I've learned to be forgiving and accepting about my negative emotions, rather than guilt trip myself into a forced good mood, and 9 times out of 10 I feel better later 😃! I love the A.T.I.O acronym ❤

    I have a tattoo that says “live every moment” and even though I didn’t know the term amor fati, I think that is the perfection description of what my tattoo reminds me of: to live in and appreciate every moment for what it is; that it’s OK to feel whatever you’re feeling because it’s all beautiful and valuable in some way; and that it’s all the little moments that make up our lives.

    I've had an awful day today because I'm sick and on top of that lately I've been feeling like shit because I can't help thinking about how all my friends have their lives together while I'm unemployed, living with my parents and studying to get a job that I don't want to do (long story short: right now is the "fastest" way to get a steady job here in Spain) so yeah, not my best summer at all. Anyway, thank you for everything you do Kalyn, your videos always cheer me up so keep up the awesome work you're doing :)

    Yesterday i was feeling blah but i didn’t give me time to accept it so i just went on with my day and later on i was with my boyfriend and i felt so comfy with him that i started crying because i needed to release what i felt.     I think saying that it’s ok allows you to let go of having control and stressing and berating yourself for not being better. At least not to your expectation of how you should be feeling. Once you’ve given yourself permission and accept how you’re feeling it’ll allow you to move on with your day and possibly even improve your mood later on when you stop obsessing over it. At least that’s what I’ve learnt about myself and some of my own bad habits 🧐

    I needed this today. After having the last few weeks of continual let downs, being ghosted by my friend and hairdresser, and various other things I just reached my limit today. So feeling pretty down on myself, even though I know it is not about me, and never is, it's frustrating. So, It's OK to feel the way I'm feeling! and that seems to help even just a little!

    I really like this series and the intro is great - but I think it's a bit too long. Nearly 1min when the "real" video, where you actually talk about the topic, is only 6min...
