Surgeries
I named my daughter after her (in 1981 ) after reading her first autobiography that she wrote back then. She too has a deep grace and wisdom so I named my daughter well.
She is a LEGEND, and her beauty is truly other wordly, an absolute icon and drop dead gorgeous woman 😊👌😍😁

I think what makes her unique (besides her exotic beauty ) is that she has an astounding amount of confidence compared to most people yet doesn't seem arrogant. She seems super fierce yet humble. Force of nature :D

I once turned on the TV one idle afternoon. It was a foreign movie. An Italian movie from the 1950s. In Italian. I watched for a while these totally unfamiliar faces performing a story I could not follow. But I kept watching because the girl in the movie was absolutely electrifying - even though I couldn't follow a word she said. She was speaking Italian - fast!! Even without understanding what was going on her charisma was astonishing. That actress was Sophia Loren. Don't forget - Italian actress + Hollywood megastar. Not many who are both!! Brava Sophia!!

Madam Loren is a real queen! So talented, so beautiful, so smart. It is a huge pleasure to listen talking like this, where great Larry King and wonderful queen Sophia Loren are amazing duo.
In my youth I used to watch her movies with Marcello Mastroianni, some of them simply hysterical, they worked together in so many movies and acted so well together that I thought they were married to each other. She was simply gorgeous and I adored her. I had never heard of any woman loving a men the way she loved Carlo Ponti; it was pure love. Excellent actress and a loving and dedicated mother; she had such a hard time having her babies so she really enjoyed motherhood to the maximum.
It's a pity you cannot appreciate her movies in Italian or better in almost napoletano were she gave her best. And she really improve herself. Years ago, many in facts, she didn't spoke correct Italian but she studied. I think she studied all her life and she learned Italian :o) French and English quite well, besides acting. And she never denied her origins what, I think, makes her really great, not being ashamed of it, what in the end is certainly not her fault but what many famous people would try to hide. So, besides the fame, she remained down-to earth. So she is a true person and a great one with feelings and meanings.

True, "Too Bad She's Bad" is a very entertaining movie with Mastroianni, De Sica and an very beautyful and capable Sofia Loren.

to me, there was never a more GORGEOUS creature.....
My mother was a ringer for Sophia Loren. I saw pictures of her of the days when they were younger and I was amazed how much they looked alike. Then Sophia Loren stepped away from the spotlight to raise her sons and I didn’t give it much thought. But she came back out a few times with her glasses and her hairstyle, right after my mother died suddenly and it shocked me how they aged the same and still looked alike. My mother worshipped her and thought she knew how to be a real lady. She did not try to look like her and would never believe that she did. My father was not loyal to her and she knew. It colored the way she saw herself. She would not have believed me if I had told her what I saw after she was gone. And people loved my mother. I have lots of stories of men who admired my mother. She could arm wrestle a truck driver and win when she was young working in her dad’s shop. She said she did this for self defense. She could drive their truck better than they could. She could whip up a pie at 2am and she could sew herself a suit on a Sunday afternoon. She was operating robots before they were mainstream. Her milk goat won grand champion and was only entered so my youngest brother could get out of school with his older brothers. Every kid within 5 miles called her mom. And my dad was a fool.

In 25 minutes of interview, you just find some Italian expressions, considering English is not her mother-tongue. Can you fluently speak in another language as well, or more than 2? - considering Loren speaks an excellent French as well. That’s a bit racist, and offending to Italians as me who strive to speak English or whatever language.
