We a graphic designers so many people buy print and press premade designs because they cant do it themselves. St patricks day amd easter coming up get some designs catered to that. 3.50 to 5 dollars for digital downloads. it adds up . Do a 20 percent sale off twice a week just for a day see if that helps boost a few sale. i did 20 cent ads didnt really make a big difference the traffic comes period

I have 23 sales. It has taken me almost a year to get those sales! I’m listening to podcasts, using tons of great keywords, watching videos, posting on FB, insta, Twitter, Pinterest! Slowly but surely.. thank you for the video Kate!
Contrary to most recommendations, my sister invested in Etsy ads right from her store launch, (for two months) she was prepared not to make any profits but what she did get was nearly a 100 sales and reviews, that started the ball rolling. In the business world, new business allocate a portion specifically for marketing so I’m always curious as to why many people advice against it for Etsy. Like they say, you got to spend money to make money.
Kate - we are considering beginning a family business on Etsy. We are doing product research and trials and researching selling platforms now. I had $15k in November, then our postal service got really badly delayed with buyers blaiming me & the borders closed due to COVID & it messed December up totally.

Love, love, love that you said it is all from the Lord. I always tell people that I never pray for more Etsy sales. I always just thank Him for the sales that He gave me and for the ones He will be sending my way in the future. I know he has led me in every part of my business over these 10 years and He has blessed me so, so much. I have never stressed about not having enough orders nor for having too many. (Well, I did stress when I had over 700 orders this past November, lol. But it was a good kind of stress.) Being grateful and thankful to Him works wonders for your frame of mind.

I opened my shop quite a few months ago, only got 6 sales 🙈 its going very slow. Sometimes i wonder why am i trying. Im learning pinterest now too for marketing, but still, i get visits (not much) but no sales. I know im doing something wrong 🤣 but i need to learn to leave it to God.
What is your shop name? Don’t get discouraged- it can take a while to get it all figured out and there are SO many variables that go into being found! SEO is a big one-have you researched SEO for Etsy? If not this might help! We have a video on it on our Etsy playlist ❤️

Hey friend! Don’t get discouraged, it took me a couple of months to even get my first sale. Things can tend to start off slow but then pick up after you get several sales under your belt. It’s actually normal to have mostly external traffic in the beginning since the algorithm most likely hasn’t picked up your listings yet- just keep driving traffic from your social media! Have you tried running a substantial discount to get a few sales to jumpstart everything? You might not profit a ton from the first sales but it will definitely help in boosting your listings to rank in search!

Thank you! We actually don’t have any employees right now but will definitely be hiring someone for the next holiday season! My husband was laid off of his corporate job earlier this year due to the pandemic so he’s pretty much done everything around the house and with the kids while I HUSTLED 🤣 Thankfully I had prepared and had some products premade before the rush hit which helped. We use FedEx for shipping and have a daily scheduled pickup with them. Needless to say, we are definitely going to be streamlining our processes for next season and hiring an assistant!!

Thank you so much- love connecting with other believers in this space 🥰 I totally get the need to make this work- my husband lost his job due to the pandemic back in April so I have really had to step it up to take it to the next level. Congrats on 29 sales- that’s a great start! I would say to encourage your buyers to leave a review- include a note on the packing slip that you include with each order and highlight or put a mark next to the note so it grabs their attention. You can also include a note in the confirmation email that automatically gets sent out to each buyer. Also think of creative ways to give excitement about leaving a review- I’ve heard of people doing a monthly or quarterly drawing for a giveaway from the names who have left reviews. Don’t be afraid to put a friendly ask in several places across your shop! 😄

Good for you! Ther hardest part for newbies on etsy is trying to get noticed and getting ranked on page 1. Their algorithm is a mystery. I struggle with marketing. So witb that said, make sure you know marketing strategies before opening. Just a tip.

I recently opened an Etsy Shop, a week ago, and began customizing my page (profile photo, cover photo, bio etc.) A few days after, now my shop is not showing up in the search bar. I have gone to the customer support and read MANY other people who are having the same issue. The main response is that you need to have your shop "indexed". Has this ever happened to you?? Hey friend! Don’t get discouraged, it took me a couple of months to even get my first sale. Things can tend to start off slow but then pick up after you get several sales under your belt. It’s actually normal to have mostly external traffic in the beginning since the algorithm most likely hasn’t picked up your listings yet- just keep driving traffic from your social media! Have you tried running a substantial discount to get a few sales to jumpstart everything? You might not profit a ton from the first sales but it will definitely help in boosting your listings to rank in search!

Thank you! We actually don’t have any employees right now but will definitely be hiring someone for the next holiday season! My husband was laid off of his corporate job earlier this year due to the pandemic so he’s pretty much done everything around the house and with the kids while I HUSTLED 🤣 Thankfully I had prepared and had some products premade before the rush hit which helped. We use FedEx for shipping and have a daily scheduled pickup with them. Needless to say, we are definitely going to be streamlining our processes for next season and hiring an assistant!!

I sell fabric on ETSY, CandesFabricsAndMore, have been on ETSY for 3 months and had 29 sales. Only 3 ratings and reviews. I am an army wife, my husband a disabled veteran. So I really need to make this work. My question is, HOW CAN I GET CUSTOMERS TO GIVE A RATING AND REVIEW? Appreciate your help. Blessings!

Thank you so much- love connecting with other believers in this space 🥰 I totally get the need to make this work- my husband lost his job due to the pandemic back in April so I have really had to step it up to take it to the next level. Congrats on 29 sales- that’s a great start! I would say to encourage your buyers to leave a review- include a note on the packing slip that you include with each order and highlight or put a mark next to the note so it grabs their attention. You can also include a note in the confirmation email that automatically gets sent out to each buyer. Also think of creative ways to give excitement about leaving a review- I’ve heard of people doing a monthly or quarterly drawing for a giveaway from the names who have left reviews. Don’t be afraid to put a friendly ask in several places across your shop! 😄

Good for you! Ther hardest part for newbies on etsy is trying to get noticed and getting ranked on page 1. Their algorithm is a mystery. I struggle with marketing. So witb that said, make sure you know marketing strategies before opening. Just a tip.

I recently opened an Etsy Shop, a week ago, and began customizing my page (profile photo, cover photo, bio etc.) A few days after, now my shop is not showing up in the search bar. I have gone to the customer support and read MANY other people who are having the same issue. The main response is that you need to have your shop "indexed". Has this ever happened to you?? I don't understand how this happens, and this seems to be a HUGE issue. Any tips or help Please!!
