What a great time the 70s to be at a music festival when the music was fantastic people today wouldn't have a clue how good this is ❤
All so true
Was there, I'm 77 years old now,( can't believe it) great 3 days to remember
Nice ✌️
SWEET !!
I'm 69 now and back in the day, I've seen them 3 times...would have been 4, but Plant's son passed away right before they came to New Orleans, so I got a refund on the ticket. Should've, could've, would've kept the ticket as a souvenir, but it was just a piece of paper about a concert that didn't happen.
Cool. the Golden age of rock and roll
@@scottprather5645 Cool indeed for our generation when the world was really beginnig to Level out...
The audio is from their 1970 Royal Albert Hall show.
Fans ever knows
WTF ! Thank you. And thank you Led Zeppelin. No one Zeppelin concert sounds like the next concert.
@@georgeseif102 Peter Grant, Led Zeppelin's band manager at the time -- caught two bootleggers under this stage at the Bath Festival on June 28th, 1970. Grant smashed their equipment -- and yelled at them. He went out from under the stage -- grabbed an axe and went back in and chopped the remainder of their equipment up.
Heard recently - Jimmy changed his position and may have come to regret them going after bootleggers so much.
Love this band and song
This is the rah version from 1970
Unfortunately those times will never return😢
So true, we can only tell our children about it…
What once was...will never be! We were blessed.
No shit and look what we have now!
@@victorbasurto1584 true spirituality
My 25th birthday was the day after this concert. After one of the Led Zep concerts I went to, as we were leaving the dome arena, it was as if we had just landed in a space ship and we were walking on earth for the first time.
That's awesome 😍 nice, 👍
Thank you. You just don't forget experiences like this. I have many memorable and legendary concert experiences that would blow your mind!@@bevnelson5785
God Youre lucky. The painnn...
@@sheenacolada1482 It was awesome. Now I'm almost as old as they are! I saw David Bowie at The Warehouse in New Orleans during his first American tour and last tour as the Ziggy and the Spiders from Mars. I was also there at the Warehouse when ZZ Top recorded one side of the Fandango album. I've seen many historical performances, too many to mention. Sadly though, most of these guys are no longer with us, but I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over again.
This footage is so clean and the audio is fantastic and they had a great set. I’d really like to ask the cameraman why he doesn’t want to show the band.
Looks like there were a half a dozen cameramen, this being a compilation perhaps?
@@usandthem72 I guess the editor had a shoe fetish
@@usandthem72 Of course it's a compilation, lol guys..
Wondering if Peter Grant shot this himself. He did that in Australia too
Wtf. 90 percent audience
Awesome. One thing that gets overlooked is how great of *sound* Zep consistently had. Always *huge,* yet crisp.
Nobody can compare to Led Zeppelin
Deep Purple can....
@@karaDee2363 DP can't hold LZ's jockstrap.
Ooohhh I'd add RUSH to the list...❤❤
I suggest you watch The Who Isle of White 69.
The Audio in this Video is from Royal Albert Hall !!!
Thank you!
Ha that explains a few things
That's what I thought, too good the sound lol
If only there were a way to convey how loud those speakers are and how they vibrate the music through one’s body. It’s crazy loud, but awesome to dance to it. Weren’t we the lucky ones who went to these great concerts and danced.
What an incredible film, I was lucky enough to finally see Led Zep at Knebworth 79, this film bought it all home. The 70s were an incredible time for music.
Mega night and set , I remember it well seeing them for the first time with 3 of my mates . More please .
6yr old I was in ‘70. Favorite group thru HS
8:51 Life at its finest… Dancing and trippin’ away at a Zeppelin concert.
JL Godard had filmed it exactly like that! There are lots of excellent videos on the band, but little footage on the folks watching, listening, dancing.. great piece of art and evidence of that zeitgeist long gone, thank you RudenkoArt! Brilliant.
Sorry, but I'd rather see the damn band than drunken hippies and silver tipped boots, this footage is horrible!
Freaking mind-blowing
Orange sunshine it was given out at festivals in the 60's,Nicklous Sand created the drug and was very generous with it,im sure there were some people that had some terrifying trips because it was pure LSD.
This is the best part of the trip
This is the trip, the best part
I really like
What did he say?
Creative, spontaneous. Tight. Miss this era. Bonham, one of my heroes.
Their first four self-titled releases had no original material... all had blues traditionals that were either played straight or reimagined in a completely different way.
Audio is Royal Albert hall,1970...
You mean they synced it here? Seems legit from here…
@@victorbasurto1584 That's for sure.Try to listen to these songs from "Led Zeppelin dvd"...
Dazed & Confused ! Aaaalright! This is one of Led Zeppelin’s masterpieces, listen to Jimmy Page! How Great Jimmy is !❤ - jon fisher
I was there, never forgotten that experience. Thanks for video.71 now and still listening to these gods.
The greatest music ever made Tony and I was 2 years old when this festival happened, Zeppelin is freaking amazing live.
Thank you a lot, for sharing this amazing old incredible music video from LED zep, this is an timeless history. I say hello to all the hippys in the whole world❤️🫶🙋love Peace and Rock n roll✌️🤘😘😘😘💃💃🌈🍀🏵️
Sensory overload.😁👍
The greatest 4 piece ever… none can compare
Love this!!! 1st time seeing JPJ with the longer hair and stache!
Nice to hear this masterpiece in such excellent quality!!
the audio is from the concert in Royal Albert Hall, not the one on the video
That's always a shame.
This song came out the year I was born ✌️ I'm still listening
Were you born in 1967? Thats when American singer/song writer Jake Holmes wrote the song...
I wish I was there then........
Oh wow! It was so far out! Righteous!
Pinnacle Zeppelin. 🙌
I can't believe 45 years later I'm just now seeing this is incredible
*54
My #1 band of All time!!
I was there. So so many great bands!!
Me too. Best concert lineup ever, bar none.
and most of them were a lot better than Zep ! 🙂 I wasn't that impressed, not one of their better shows....
Bring it on home. That's the one that I wore out on vinyl...
Fu*king Amazing... Thank You for the History 😢😢😮😊😅❤🎉
What a great slice of rock n roll history. I saw Zepplin on July 10th 1973 in Milwaukee, WI , will never forget it! It's on TH-cam (audio only).
"BEST BAND EVER "
The Beatles >>>>>>>> Led Zeppelin 😊
Who. Cares where its from, this here is bad ass. Zeppelin all day.....
This is strange. Audio is from another concert, but the video is great. Jimmy's gotta have a full concert tape of this show in the vault. Can see the TV cams thete
CLIMBING HIGHER AND HIGHER TO REACH OUR BEST CRUISING ALTITUDE; 25,000 FEET STRAIGHT UP.
❤Bravo ROBERT!❤ You are my favorite and best vocals ❤! ✌️⭐️Love you 🎤👏
Fantastic, even if the music is from the RAH. I saw them for the first time only a few months prior, in Memphis, Tennessee. Unforgettable
Great cover of a great song!
Also if ya dig this song Dazed and Confused on youtube you may enjoy Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on TH-cam. 😀
Great cover of Dazed And Confused
I was born in '63, so I totally get it. But, man! The cameraman and a good part of the crowd are high af!
Wow, would have loved to have been there to see Bonzo play and the rest of the band.
Of course, it did help back then if you were blown out of your sweeney...Sat through over 3 hours of Zep about a year later looking down from the balcony of a concert hall in Coventry. The only pis* off was that I realised I didn't look as good as Percy Plant. PS: Albeit a bit threadbare now, I still have the poster version of the photo made of them in the same clothes behind the stage. Peace, man...
Those times are gone, sad man.
Led Zeppelin forever ❤️
Fantastic!!!!🎉
I went to Bath college, but had left before show, not hear till now.
Excelente forever Zeppelin
Eso era ir a disfrutar la musica
My fave Zep, even though it was not their song
Maybe mention that the audio is from Royal Albert Hall, not the Bath Festival?
Arthur Rudenko Thank you!
Spellbinding from start to finish.
The true golden age. History will prove. Got to reign it in from now on thanx to the buzz killers. ShakeUp XR
Fantastic!
Love the tone on Jimmy's Les Paul here, it is absolutely filthy and he seems precise as compared to later Zep from '74 onwards.
wow, maan. this is faaaar out.
Two and a half months before I was born.
The audio is similar to the one in the Royal Albert Hall concert (1970)
That's because it is it.
I was there with the boys from the Loco Merthyr Tydfil did acid
Congratulations!!!!!
Grande pezzo ❤❤❤❤
The time rock music
0:09 Dazed and Confused
12:22 Bring It On Home
great
Zoso Rocked the show!! Classic Jimmy Page awesome riffs, Led Zeppelin is still GOAT!! I ♥️ Jimmy, just wish the camera was on him not Plant's boots and hair!
🎸🔥 🎶 ❤🎉 🎤🎸🔥 🥁 👏 👏 👏 ❤
holy wow
What a jam band live, woooo
Can you imagine how different LZ IV and HotH sound if Plant's voice stayed like it was, circa 1969-70?
Love the shots from audience. So much energy there .... !
I’ve got zoom and I will use it!
bucket hat and beard ftw
Audio is from Royal Albert Hall show same year
"Come here baby, come here quick, this ole Cocaine makes me sick, here comes a policeman dressed in blue,he's been doing them things too".
🎉💐
It was '77, i' was 3 yo. At this epoch. Hope these times come back, my parents are dead meanwhile.
Vote the right...
Apparently cameras weren't for filming musicians back then.
No they weren't! I was a teen in the 70s...best time of my life!
@@juliemanarin4127 So was I. Wasn't talking about stupid phones but actual film cameras....
Maybe they had to film discreetly?
8:00 lmao a baby at a concert? The flower power parents were interesting.
Random dude: "Yea my mom took me to my first Led Zeppelin concert back in the day..."
Me: "Oh how cool of your parents. How old were you?"
Random dude: "2 years old."
Buone sensazioni
❤😊

I see why they call it the bath festival, everyone needs a bath
The friend seem to be in San Fran Cisco
Great weekend there, is it me, or does anyone else think the lady in the yellow top dancing at 4:07 looks like the amazing Grace Slick?
Just you
The crowd does sort of explain a lot of the reasons that things are going wrong in the West - Now that that generation has been in power for a while.
Pity the original audio isn't used here...
