@@Traci2000 Well, you could do what I do...unless you can't sleep with music playing! That total was just Jan-Nov too. HTC was my favorite VP song until "Valhalla Calling" came out, but that one has so many wonderful hard beats (thanks Layne!) and rhythm changes, I can't really sleep to it. So I just listen to it every other night for 3-4 hours on repeat. Other nights I have three mixed playlists I listen to, including one for all the songs J. None and Cesar are both in, Cesar's first song with the group, and his first song as an official member. It also has J. None's first song with the group (I think it was "What's This," if I'm wrong someone please let me know) and his last as an "official" member. I have OCD, anxiety, and depression, and Voiceplay really helps me with it. Besides, if I'm going to be obsessing over something, why not a super stellar group that makes me feel happy? I do listen to other groups too, mostly The Monkees and Depeche Mode. I would be over the MOON if VP did a song by either of those bands. And while we're at it, let's give Voiceplay a show like The Monkees! It'd be awesome, and I defy someone to say VP "can't play their own instruments" (because, you know, their instruments are their voices) as The Monkees were falsely accused of. Talking of replicating the beach scene... Have you seen the cover by Tenacious D? 😅😅 Geoff sings this song in his Dragon Breath Tone, at least for the most part of it. But he's mastering the art of conveying emotions through his voice. Honestly, I don't even understand HOW is it possibile to sing a whole song that way AND keep that clarity and articulation, so that every single word is clearly understandable, even more than in the original😅. This guy keeps pleasantly surprising me. 🙂 See you next time!|
I really didn't think I knew this song, certainly not by the name of it. Once Geoff got to "I don't want to fall in love" I recognized it. Such a somber tone for the piece. Glad I know that he has Kathy because he was convincing. J None's solo, Am I Here is another somber piece - can't believe both of them did pieces like that in the same month.
I’m sorry but I seen Chris two years ago in Canton Ohio had great seats too. No one especially guy can’t hold a candle to Chis. I don’t even like the sound of it 🙄
