Annnnd at 4:33 we have what I call the "GRE!" That stands for "Geoff's Range Eyeroll!" It doesn't matter how much you listen to Geoff, he always manages to amaze!
Truely a hauntingly beautiful cover...I am in awe of how talented Geoff is. This cover has brought me to tears so many times. it hits so hard. Geoff brings such depth, sadness and a sort of resignation to this song. Great reaction Kaz!!
How can a song so sad, sung by someone with such pained facial expressions, in a voice hovering on the depths of Hell itself, make me want to go cuddle my husband? Like, it makes me realize how lucky I am to have found someone.
My first thought when I heard this was that I need it on my lullaby playlist to fall asleep to every night. But my SECOND thought was, "Kaz is going to have an out-of-body experience."
I played this video for one of my coworkers and she got scared at the first line and refused to listen anymore. Those last few seconds where he's just sitting in silence always gets me.
The beginning sent chills down my spine. He's so good and I think he's doing subharmonics... those rumbles are stupidly low, they don't even sound like actual notes. Love your reaction! "Epid! Do it again" milk is definitely needed.
The ticking sound in this video reminds me of his cover of Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone. Poor Geoff singing about a woman doing him wrong just gets to me!
They sound like G#1's to me. There might be some lower stuff hidden somewhere. But in the lead melody I'm pretty sure that's where it bottoms out.@@MikeBass4456
Thanks for the correction, on second reviewing it may well be G#1 that he hits a few times, but once again he slides at the end of the words so could touch on lower. Good ear my friend 👂@Kahnugo
Can't wait for your reaction VoicePlay's "Sleeping In The Cold Below" and Home Free's "Ring Of Fire" new version with Chance. I think it's better than with Avi.
Geoff so it seems wasn´t impressed with Diana Ankudinova´s lows in her cover. i mean this reminds me of her versiion. It´s like he thought: ´come on, that can be sung lower!´
Kaz is married. And so is Geoff. TO SEPARATE PEOPLE. This comment was unnecessary and disrespectful. Think before you comment things like this. Commenting things like this does nothing but hurt either or both parties.
I still don't understand how someone's voice can sound so silky smooth and rough and gravelly at the same time, but geoff makes it WORK. YAAAAAS 💜💜
Muscle control and the mindset to pull it off.

Geoff never disappoints. ever. no, seriously, EVER.

In the opening he sings all in chest and the lowest notes he hits in it are G#1 and some nice A1’s and B1’s
Well thank you!! 💜
I was just scrolling through to see if anyone had answered that!

It is good to see that Geoff "The Bassinater" Castellucci, still has what it takes to give you chills.
Awesome nickname!

When Geoff starts in the bassment, you don't feel like you are missing the yodel at all. Superb.
Could you imagine the duet with Geoff and Chris Isaak on this song? Love this cover and your reaction my friend
He is what I call "musically possessed" I mean this in the most respectful way. Those notes are amazing!

"In looove. . .WiTh YoUuUu!! HeLlOoOo?!" I'm cackling!! 🤣
That was all chest. So fantastic in its simplicity
May favorite Chris Isaak song. Great cover from the very talented Geoff.
Hauntingly gorgeous
i swear im not into men but why does geoff look so good here. i feel like i should grow my hair out now.
I may be a lesbian, but he’s an exception for me. LMAO. So I feel ya.

rofl that intro going high going low and massive voice crack :D i love it.
I haven't been able to find out how low Geoff was hitting in this song.
love this cover, love the denim jacket and the beanie
He killed it!!!😊😊😊
a man and a piano what more do you need? ❤
I could feel the things too…..so good!
kaz that's the same reaction I did have and yess Geoff made so calm and the range is just not human
Thanks!
Nice Vid, Love your Reaction. Geoff sounds amazing. Always, but everytime i fall from my chair XD
This made me drip everything and only concentrate on this. For like 4 times in a row
Whats funny is THAT TYPO IS SO FITTING FOR GEOFF
WHERE IS GEOFF'S 16 TONS PORTRAIT WHEN WE NEED IT???
It's on the same place on my shelf behind me hahahahahaha

For someone so happily married he plays heartbroken so well 😂
Good song good reaction
🧚♂️🧚♂️🧚♂️ ... good one Kaz
2 other covers, by deep voices, was done by HIM and October Noir. Check them out.
❤
I think its down to a low G. Might touch F#1 briefly on the slides but I am not sure
Absolutely right, he hits a few G1s here in chest, but plenty of sliding going on so touching on F#1 is entirely possible.

Speaking of something epic, have you seen/heard Epic: The Musical?
Yes! Another Epic fan! She HAS to listen to it!
I just knew you were going to lose it on this one!
He went down to a chest G#1, at the lowest, nothing too crazy

How many pens?
One day, Kaz and Geoff's paths will converge and we will see their wedding.

@@Sunnygirl1016 this is humor. It's strange that this needs to be explained.
@@artyomische it's not humor and is kinda creepy (and also makes Kaz feel very uncomfortable) so kindly take your comments elsewhere
