You've helped a lot..i didn't think of appliques, when i did it, i crocheted trees with branches directly on the one side of my blanket, although with the branches being just a single chain maybe connecting directly was the easier way.. but i will be using appliques for future projects. 😊

I glued the crochet background to the back piece of the frame. I removed the glass from the frame and was able to close up the frame as you normally would.
