I just love, love, love your appliques. My crocheting for the past 60 years consisted of granny squares and flat afghans. :) Then I started recently to crochet blankets for our military families overseas through DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). I got 12 made and decided I wanted to fancy them up some. My best friend in Mississippi sent me links for appliques and yours was one of the links. :) So I have been learning how to do them. You are an awesome teacher. I love how you explain how to do the different stitches and you talk slow and I can use the closed caption feature. I have bookmarked so many of your tutorials. I am working on this girl one now. I was looking for alphabet ones and sleeping baby ones. I did the moon applique and would like to put a sleeping baby with it. I did find your bear one with the bottle that I will use with the moon. Is there a way I can purchase all your tutorials available now in one package deal? I have looked at a lot of tutorials out there for appliques and yours are by far the best ones to use. I am telling people I know who crochet about your tutorials. :) Thank you again for doing these. I was out there looking and could not find any that were good and easy to understand. I guess you spoiled me. :) I was going to put some text on one of my blankets but could not do it because they were not doing a good job of explaining or there was no closed caption for me to follow along. I have to hear, read, see and apply for me to get it. :) So your tutorial are perfect. Today is our Memorial Day and I can't wait to show my relatives the neat blankets I have made using your appliques. :) Have a great day!! I know most of them are free but I wanted to support you a little. :) I just finished learning how to make your daisy and it turned out really nice. My granddaughter wanted it white so I did it white with a orange center and it just popped on the baby blanket, :) You are so good at going slow and explaining the steps. :) Thanks again!!

I am struggling as this is my 1st time attempting to crochet with thread instead of yarn & these arthritis fingers are not cooperating but your tutorial is so well done i will just keep rewinding until i get it. Hello. I've got a long request list for items. I'll add it to my list, but it will be a little while before I can make it. I'll have to find a picture of a side view of a hula dancer as well to base the design on.
Thank you Vicki, the girl would be easy to have facing in the opposite direction, just turn the dress and apron over before doing the neatening row and stitch the sleeve on the other way around. All the other pieces would be worked the same. The boy would be similar, turn the sleeve and pants before doing the neatening rows. The shoes would also be turned before doing the neatening row. If you have any problems let me know and I do up a pattern for them.
Can u please let me now what brand and yarn u use.a four ply cotton in Maine is very thick what u are using is thin.thank u and I love all your patterns .can't wait to get the yarn.

I have got some DMC Petra 5 ply and use that at times (It crochets up the same as the Sullivans 4 Ply} but my local craft shop only stocks a few colours. I do have links to the Petra cotton on my website under the lion pattern and some of the other patterns. Hope this helps. Kerri
