Thank you for today's lesson! My favourite three are: flashlight, yawara (your design!) and a yawara I have purchased at a martial arts shop, which turned out to feel a bit thin. Added a very sturdy paracord grip and voila, it became one of my best palm sticks to train with. Also like the kubotan key chain as well as markers for self-defense. Hopefully I will never have to use violence as a tool. Wishing you a good day and stay safe too🙏
Very cool! I'm excited to learn more about those pressure points. Would be great to see you do a video on pressure points or going after weak points for self defense😁
Thank you Matt for another great video. For non-lethal situations: When a polite please stop, Doesn't do the trick. Give em a poke With your yawara stick. For dangerous self defense situations: My equalizer is a hickory cane. Thank you again for your many cane self defense videos. Keep safe everyone and remember to Practice, Practice, Practice.
Dang! Missed the live class again. Will watch later when i can have the sound on. Always glad to see kubotan. Cane and ersatz kubotan/dry erase marker from dollar store fir edc, but i like and train from palmstick to jo. Need to get a bo.
@pasquinilli Did you ever make a video on how to use the pocket stick as a massager cause I went to a gun safety class and I asked about those sticks and they said. Why would you carry those? And they said cause you can massage yourself. And he asked me explain. But I didn't know how to because I was always waiting for your video?
HI Sensei Matt I am not sure you saw my comment that I posted somewhere else I said : HI Sensei Matt it seems that I go many places where weapons are frowned upon so it seems the best option I could come up with was just put aa mini maglite on key chain? as I do think I seem to recall reading somewhere it seems it was actually made by a fan of the kubotan that worked at maglite and I guess as long as I dont add the dna catcher perhaps its potentially more legal ??? thoughts please thank you ????

Thanks. Jim
Hi. How do I buy one of your short hand stick? Jim
Ive made about a half dozen yawara sticks, after one of your video's. Tried soaking in butcher block treatment. Didn't see any change.
How long did you leave them in? What type of wood?
@pasquinilli first one,, little over a week...( I was all anxious to carry).. longer and longer after. Last one,, 3 months.
