Evening Rodian . Give it a try with the nail spun round . If you use the head you can do each joint with 2 strokes and the head acts like a cutter and smooths as it goes so the tuck pointer can stay in the tool bag 👌🏼. I always leave the brushing till last thing and use a stiff brush and brush it the same as you . Loved the out takes by the way 🤬🤬😂😂😂 deffo keep em in 🧱👍🏽
Yeah, as others have said, Rodian.....definitely better using the head end of the nail, and if you use a masonry nail it'll last for yonks!👍 Really like a recessed finish on a regular sized brick, looks the business.
I'm an absolute beginner looking to repoint my old house and learned a lot from watching your videos. Keep them coming (enjoyed the bloopers, as we all like a laugh at the end).
From one cockney living in OZ to another cockney - good stuff mate. I've got a small job to do in my kitchen. I am going to Bunnings to get a chariot tool now. Also the out takes are cracking me up !!!
@@RodianBuilds - I live in a state the same size as Europe - it only has 2 million population, that suits me fine. Ocean to the left of me and desert to the right.

you've got the nail wrong way round ! your supposed to use the head ,and try a masonary nail it wont wear down as quick

Laavly jubbly. Off to Amazon then
Like the rest of the comments, use the flat head of the nail or a screw! works much much easier!
Yes me like.bloopers
How long do you generally leave it before starting with the chariot?
I wont do recessed joint in rainy areas and if i have irregular bricks to work with.
I try not to do recessed joints at all. Dont like them and think they allow water to get in.
👍🏻
Have ox gave you a few free tools for your hard work??
Hi, just wondering if you have any ideas on where I can do my work experience? For brick laying
