I think Mishra and Titania meld may make it fun. although not a fan of attractions and it didnt seem to get going and probably had limited interaction with table :)

Gix performed relatively well, although theoretically it did help Urza, Lord Protector a little as Azorious if there is a combo can have inevitability.
Quick question as someone new to EDH: AmI missing something, or is drawing the entire deck not enough for Esmond to kill 3 people? He'd need to cast the Top at least 139 times (considering his life total) to activate Aetherflux 3 times for each of his opponents. But he'd deck out before getting to cast the Top that many times, cause there are only 99 cards. Regardless, awesome episode, need a part 2!!
He doesn't need to cast it 139 times because reading the card (Aetherflux Reservoir) explains the card :P It gains you life per spells cast that turn. As an example let's say he cast top 10 times after reality chip and his 12th cast (chip, 10 tops before) was reservoir. Next top cast would be 13 life, then 14 etc. If Aetherflux was the last card he probably has cast top around 80 times or so by then and he can still cast it once to gain that 80 life and threaten / shoot two of them. The deck could also include some protection against decking out should that happen but it's a pretty low chance regardless.
Nothing against you guys, but this game was not great. The combo win was so unspectacular and boring, and basically halved the game. Really anticlimactic
I completely agree. Liang got to play one spell and not even roll for Attractions. Regardless of how you feel about Infinity, Liang didn't get to participate in that game. Very unbalanced to watch and not very interesting like other videos where everyone gets some good plays before the game ends.
Love what you guys do but I can't watch this one, I loathe the attractions, they are just so unnecessary from a confusing set that never should have existed in a weird some legal some illegal world

Yea… especially a combo runnin off infinite repeat of a few specific steps. Granted, this doesn’t happen frequently on such shows. I can let it slide
Sometimes it happens, but very rarely
you should add a house rule for infinite loops. only 3 activations a turn. this keeps it fair for all players.

Attractions literally had zero effect on the game. Worth watching. For the record I also dislike that mechanic and set.
