That Controller did a tremendous job taking charge and getting things under control quickly during a very busy period. Well done for her. Loved the video, nice flight, smooth landing and thanks for including all the ATC audio at the end. Shout out to that controller for taking care of business!

Being a old retired FD firefighter / EMT we use to dispatch as part of our duties. Nothing like everyone 'stepping' on each other. Makes life as a dispatcher a 'pain'. The controller did a great job - firm didn't loose her cool. Thank you for the video - hope everyone is doing well. Take care - be safe.

As a 911 dispatcher I know what it's like when my units on the road talk all over each other and take control of the frequency. The way she stepped up announced what she needed, gave clear direct instruction, corrected the sir and took back control of her frequency. Great job!! Pretty sure any ATC or dispatcher would agree that we "own" the channel we just let you use it.

I see the Navy hasn't changed since I was in over 30 years ago. I don't know how many times I had orders changed or a task that was scrapped for a complete 180 of a different direction in a work day. Love that ground controller at the end. Nobody move unless I say so. lol...

I used to get block time and spend a night in EYW, it was a beautiful C-172RG old school, nothing fancy, it would take a while to get up to 10,000 or 11,000. It would descend at close to 170k dropping like a rock, God , I loved that plane. It flew by the numbers, almost pilot proof. Of all the times I flew in I never remember landing or departing 27. Even in the winter. Is Fat Albert still around? I even remember doing PAR when I was under the hood with EYW approach, I specifically remember the controller giving me exact headings to the centerline, I guess they needed practice too. Good vlog

I've listened to that ground controller when she works the tower frequency also at executive and she always displays that kind of control on the frequency with pilots, it's actually entertaining. looking when they went down, from Kim's side camera it did look like right main was not down. At 22:00 on final check, from the other side, you could only see the right main in the camera, and it appeared on, but then again over the numbers, right main was not lit, at least not appeared to be lit.

I totally appreciate our controllers. It's a tough job when all you can actually do is use your voice to enable a bunch of safe flights. Enjoyed the video. My first real destination trip was to the keys for dinner with the family out of page. I got to find out first hand why flying in the dark is really not much different than IMC. No reference to anything but instruments. Amazing views flying in though. I think it was about $250 for us to fly in for an afternoon in 172 and that was 8 years ago. Your trip sounded like a bargain 😉

Flying is already expensive enough. For those of us that enjoy it on a budget some of the FBO's make it impractical to fly into some places. I'm sort of amazed that their fuel prices aren't higher. My field North of Atlanta has it $7.08. I fly 15 min to the West and get it for $4.75.
