I drink in between 2 to 4 liters pitch black, 'nukular fuelled' (AKA uber-strong) coffee.
Strong enough to raise the dead 3 graveyards down the road from smell alone.
Most countries do not even know what coffee should be made like.
      Example:
US: you can see the bottom of a 2 litre pot, looking down into the pot.
      That's not coffee.
If I have 3mm coffee in my cup, you see a black tar alike substance on it.
      No bottom.
My cup, after the first one I take, is black on the sides.
      THAT is coffee.
For the Dutch that will know it:
      DOUWE EGBERTS MOKA ROYALE!!!
      Oh YEAH!
      According to my cardiologist:
I literally consume deadly amounts of caffeine, daily. :S
Going to bed, I sleep as a baby though, never had issues with it either, health or stress-wise.

Ya know when I was in my 20s I called up a flight training school and they were very nice and said "come on in and we'll talk you through it".
Well I never did and seeing this guy I kind of regret it.I would have had my pilot's license by now ....since I'm 70.

    • @d.mcdave8880
      @d.mcdave8880 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@spazmonkey3815 Well, I guess it's never too late, as long as you can pass the physical. I was in my late 30's when I had the opportunity and I went for it. I always wanted to be a pilot but every time I mentioned it everybody laughed or said "you can never do that". The main obstacle for most people is having the funds to fly while in flight school. You need to practice what you learn and keep progressing so you don't keep re-learning the same thing. If you have the funds you can get a private pilot single engine license in a few months. Even if you don't intend to get a license you could go to school for a "right seat" class. You will learn the basics and get some flight time and learn to communicate on the radio. Look into that, it may be for you.

In the mid to late 1970s as a young man I worked in PNG as a builder. I traveled all over the country in light aircraft and was too young and stupid to realise the danger I was often in. No GPS in those days. One memorable flight was from Mt Hagen to the Bensbach which should have been a couple of hours but ended up over 4 because the pilot got lost stuck between cloud layers and the manager of the Bensbach lodge forgot to turn the NDB navigation beacon on. Not much left in the tanks when we arrived I don’t think.

This really makes me want to get back to flying. Got my VFR Private Pilot ticket back in 2006, and accumulated ~ 220 hours in various airplanes including Cessna's (150/152, 172, 206), Pipers (Cherokees, Warrior, Saratoga), a Baron, and even a Citabria. So much enjoyment. Unfortunately I'm living in Japan at the moment and isn't really possible to get back into flying given current circumstances. But videos such as this allow me to experience my love of aviation to some degree without actually being there. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing videos. Love these videos where the clouds make the flying so interesting. The Asaro Valley must be one of the finest flights in PNG but I always enjoy simming through the Jimi and Wahgi Valleys with this type of cloud cover. Another to opportunity to appreciate how the ATC communication works in PNG as well as a very good explanation of flight conditions and and route planning. Thanks Ryan.

LOL. I was on an innertube on a Central Florida lake famous for the size of its alligators. My friend (!) driving the boat decided to sling me close to the shore. I ran over an 10-footer, wiped out and prayed I wouldn't get eaten.

At about 11:20 in, the pilot mentions flight simming, funny, because I'm a flight simmer, I was wondering about his path, and then he mentions tracking his flight as a flight simmer! Thank you so much!
This is my first time viewing with his channel, I think I'll stick around a while.

Solid flight dude! Greased that landing. Always good to come in with a stabilized speed and attitude then use ground effect to its advantage. As long as not much crosswind like you had it’s good to float it a bit with the extra lift the aircraft gets from the ground effect. You did a real nice job there. 👌👊

I went for my first discovery flight in the U.S recently and I liked it but I was a little nervous. I watch your videos all the time which inspires me to be a pilot. I’ve had a dream of becoming a pilot and I just took my first step by going for a discovery flight. I’m one foot in to taking that pilot path and I’m also one foot out. What advice would you give to me to overcome my fears of flying a plane and take that step? My second question is how did you know it was your calling to be a pilot?
