I can’t thank you enough for your videos, I have been watching for over a year and now we are looking at our first RV. My daughter even runs over when she hears your song come on, keep them coming😁😁😁😁
Robert my wife, daughter and I are RV'rs also. I noticed a couple of years ago that often when I would research a future travel destination I would find one of your videos. We have been to many of the same locations and RV parks. Since the pandemic we have been grounded like everyone else. I wanted you to know we have been enjoying your videos. It has helped me survive being stuck and home and not being able to travel. We have been binge watching. The three of us often sing your songs back and forth to one another. We will even text the lyrics to one another. This is only the second time I have ever commented on TH-cam. We just wanted to thank you for what you do. We will keep an eye out for you on the open road. Sincerely the Hoag Family in Kansas.
Hi Robert, just had to mention that my cousin Woody, a structural engineer based in Tampa, helped design and build the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. It was a huge engineering challenge because they also had to figure out how to remove the damaged sections of the old bridge. Always love visiting the barrier islands and coast, especially around Clearwater and Longboat Key.
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits, I am going to post this comment on all the ones I watch! You da man, Robert!!
FINALLY..... I've been waiting to enjoy my Sunday's away from work immersed into a travelrob video.. This 2019 venture will hopefully usher us gracefully into the Thanksgiving holidays...😊
I'm road tripping with my sister next week to Oregon and Washington from So Cal. I ran across your Oregon and Washington travels. I enjoyed them so much that I've decided to start with your number one and watch them all. They are so easy, happy, comfortable to watch and listen to. Thank you for doing these!!! I look fwd to them all!!
Went to Cedar Key fishing on the pier often 30 years ago during studying at UF in Gainesville. The pier is very beautiful during Sunset with pelican flying in files, dolphins jumping and sea lights up. The place hasn't changed much. Thanks for your video!
I needed that. Every so often there’s an episode that absolutely embodies the secrets of your success. Even though there was a brisk pace, it seemed to be an undertone rather than a highlight. You were able to convey the discoveries as they unfolded with such a natural and carefree manner, that it took me right into each and every moment. Which is what you do best. The campgrounds were attractive and you helped all the locations look relaxed and inviting through your attention to detail and creative expression. One can never get enough of beautiful beaches, birds and sunsets… at least I can’t, anyways. This is a great one to reflect back on, and I’m glad by chance it found me. Thank you!
Just ran across your channel and we are really enjoying it...just finished ep 5. We plan to travel across the USA one day and you are giving great ideas. Thank you for what you do!
@ Yes of course I noticed!! Its a figure of speech. But thanks so much for taking time to point out the obvious (as any one would know if they've been watching Robert's videos over the summer)
Truly an outstanding video. I loved seeing the West coast, my folks and I lived many years in Sarasota,I remember the white sand on Siesta Key. The new Sunshine Causeway is gorgeous, gosh, the last time I was there was 1976. I loved DeSoto Park and when you went to St Pete Beach, that restaurant sure had a lovely view. Gosh, the Suwanee River State Park was amazing, I loved all the Spanish moss draped trees and seeing the Cardinal. I could go on and on, I am looking forward to all your upcoming video adventures, I am definitely going to share these with others.🙂
We have watched all your videos in the last few months. love them. we can't travel much anymore so it's nice to see all the places you go to. love the gooood morning you say
That's what I'm talking about! ... the fabulous travel video that no one can do better than Robert .... iconic! And .... my favorite venue .... the eastern US! Full of beautiful sights including beaches and quirky, quaint municipalities. So entertaining and interesting. Yes .... you ARE the bird whisperer. All worth a second and third viewing. Very nice Robert. Especially appreciated since I am recovering from my total knee replacement (ouch! 😷). Can't wait for the next episode! 🌞 🌴 🐚
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video featuring the start of your epic trip out West. I always enjoy your videos, and your Florida videos are some of my favorites. Have a great day, and remember, we always keep you and your family in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 😎🌴👍
Thanks for sharing and taking us along on your marvelous adventures! I have enjoyed all your videos for two years now. Have a great and blessed day! 🙋♂️🏝👏👏👏👏👏
was about to call bs on the video but after further looking there is another withlacoochie river. who knew? always learn something new from traveling robert
Robert, Thank you for posting another great video. I think I am one of a few people from the northeast who has never been to Florida. “Riding” with you on your journey gives me a good perspective of what it looks like. Best of luck on your journey. I look forward to riding in your RV with you.
Howdy Robert, many thanks for sharing yet another superb video here which I thoroughly enjoyed watching as usual. It is so nice to be able to follow you on your trips and experiences buddy.Just keep the ball rolling, your efforts are greatly appreciated here.Best wishes and cordial greetings from William across the Big Pond (Bruges,Belgium,Europe.).
Episode 1 in the bag!! Loved seeing that you stopped at Cedar Key. We've been wanting to fly the airplane into their airfield strip for some time now. We didn't get a chance when we were there in August. A definite must for us. Thanks for sharing. Very excited about the summer 2019 series.
Fort De Soto campground is our favorite, we live near Indian Rocks beach and go there often. Maybe we will see you there one of these times. As always, we enjoy the videos.
Florida is my home state. There are a lot of places I still haven't visited. I can't wait to explore all of it. Thanks for sharing. The east cost has a lot of interesting places like St. Augustine. I live 35 mins from Tampa and I am scared to cross the Sunshine Skyway bridge I take alternate routes. Thanks for sharing.
I admire your videos and travel the U.S. vicariously with you. I’ve been living in Pensacola, Florida for 31 years. I’m a double amputee now and can no longer take RV road trips. I’ve been to Buc-ee’s, too. I just wanted to comment they do not support handicapped patrons with power shopping carts. The venue is so large I could not begin to see it all without power assistance, as I also have COPD, so Buc-ee’s is not on my itinerary. Keep the great videos coming, Robert. By the way, the world can never have enough Roberts.
Mr. Robert...I am so glad I found these...your humor and your soothing music and "oh well" chill attitude about the lil oopsies in life have helped me so much during this pandemic. I feel like the Lawd himself showed me ur channel as if to say "take a chill pill Mandy." LOL. I hate being on the highway in the rain. I wish everyone would slow the poop down. LOL there I go again, getting all high skrung. LOL tee hee. Bless ur vids and continued safe drivings. :)
Hi, love your videos and your educational narration about every place you ever visit.keep up the great work and i know this might be a bit late on commenting on your first video of the summer 2019 and you even left on the same day it was my birthday that summer and i've only been watching for about week now and just can't seem to stop.lol and greetings from tn 2020.
Absolutely fantastic work Robert.I want to apologize for complaining about how long ago new videos are,I really can see now the effort you put into editing and I want to thank you for that effort as I know it is a lot of work for you.Taking a trip cross country like you are is a dream for people so it is nice to follow along as you go. The great blue heron you saw and said"you like fish"Just made me think that all of the great blue herons here where I live are found in swamps and feed almost exclusively on frogs.I really like The boardwalks everywhere in florida as they are great for bird watching.Hopefully someday I will make it there.
Awesome video Robert! I am very excited to see your upcoming episodes! I sing your intro songs to my daughter every day on the road by Traveling Robert. Can’t wait to get our own RV in a couple years! 😊 see you on the road on the next episodes. We are going to the RV show next weekend at California Speedway in Fontana CA. 🤟🏻😁🤟🏻
12:58 The bird sings: I'm walkin' (walking, walking) away from that RV guy. If he gets too close, I'm gonna fly, I'm gonna FLEE from RV Guy! yeah! hahaha...
Funny, I was at the Suwannee River State Park for a night in April & a couple of those campers were there at that time also. That’s the problem with some Florida state parks... monthly long term squatters when it’s only supposed to be 30 days max stay.
Wow! Your production and editing quality on these vids are top notch! I honest,g felt like I could be watching something on the Travel Channel! Great job! We are Floridians (Melbourne) and are weekend camping types with our 30’ Jayco. So this vid is perfect for choosing our next getaway. New subscriber and can’t wait to watch more!
John's Pass had a good leather shop where I bought a nice belt and brass buckle years ago. Nice place with that boardwalk area. Too bad that the Sunshine State didn't have much sunshine on this trip.
Greetings from south Florida as well cool video been watching yours for a while now looks like a road trip we might consider doing keep up the great work really like the drone footage as well
at 6:00 that is called pass-a-grille - it is U shape island with fishing piers on one side, beach on the other with shops, bars and homes in the middle and on the fishing side at entrance
I can’t thank you enough for your videos, I have been watching for over a year and now we are looking at our first RV. My daughter even runs over when she hears your song come on, keep them coming😁😁😁😁

Love your videos. I don't comment often, so I wanted to just say, "hi" and "thank you" for doing these. Love your narration.
Nice job Robert. You make us Floridians proud. Thanks for sharing

Just north of Clearwater (Tampa Bay area) is a nice historic Greek town of Tarpon Springs. Very nice place to stop in at.

So fun. Traveled this whole segment many times except the Live Oak detour. Stay on Cedar Key one weekend... easy going place.
Boy does the food look good!
Please hurry with the new episodes, we’re so curious to see your trip 😄 The map at the end was WOW! 😂
Great choice on ft DeSoto. The historic army ft thing is killer. Great fishing and even a dog beach.

I used to swim in that community pool in Crystal River my nana lived there and it sure has changed over the years. : ) peace
Great videos. So nice to travel with you. When stopped have hotdogs with wolfbrand chili and onion on them. Mmmm easy meal to fix.
You can go to the ice cream shop at the Don.C. hotel and have ice cream on the beach and watch the sunset.
Near Cedar Key is Manatee Springs State Park I highly recommend it. I spent a weekend there snorkeling and swimming in the springs.

Thanks Robert for the videos. We passed you somewhere on I 75 few days ago. All the best in your travel and thanks for the info.
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing this part of Florida. :)
I'm behind on my TR clips. This will be fun catching up!
Robert is the Cool Breeze! Plus I like his truck, Deep Blue. LOL. Just my fun nicknames.

Last time I crossed alligator alley it was still one lane each direction. Sunshine skyway has always creeped me out going over it.

Going to check out Fort Desoto next time. If you haven't been, try Turtle Beach campground in Sarasota. They have a free shuttle to the Siesta village
